A supplement on feathered gyrogroups

A topological gyrogroup is a gyrogroup endowed with a topology such that the binary operation is jointly continuous and the inverse mapping is also continuous. It is shown that each compact subset of a topological gyrogroup with an $ω^ω$-base is metrizable, which deduces that if $G$ is a topological gyrogroup with an $ω^ω$-base and is a $k$-space, then it is sequential. Moreover, for a feathered strongly topological gyrogroup $G$, based on the characterization of feathered strongly topological gyrogroups, we show that if $G$ has countable $cs^{*}$-character, then it is metrizable; and it is also shown that $G$ has a compact resolution swallowing the compact sets if and only if $G$ contains a compact $L$-subgyrogroup $H$ such that the quotient space $G/H$ is a Polish space.

On Scott power spaces

In this paper, we mainly discuss some basic properties of Scott power spaces. For a $T_0$ space $X$, let $\mathsf{K}(X)$ be the poset of all nonempty compact saturated subsets of $X$ endowed with the Smyth order. It is proved that the Scott power space $Σ\mathsf{K}(X)$ of a well-filtered space $X$ is still well-filtered, and a $T_0$ space $Y$ is well-filtered iff $Σ\mathsf{K}(Y)$ is well-filtered and the upper Vietoris topology is coarser than the Scott topology on $\mathsf{K}(Y)$. A sober space is constructed for which its Scott power space is not sober. A few sufficient conditions are given under which a Scott power space is sober. Some other properties, such as local compactness, first-countability, Rudin property and well-filtered determinedness, of Smyth power spaces and Scott power spaces are also investigated.

On some kinds of factorizable topological groups

Based on the concepts of $\mathbb{R}$-factorizable topological groups and $\mathcal{M}$-factorizable topological groups, we introduce four classes of factorizabilities on topological groups, named $P\mathcal{M}$-factorizabilities, $Pm$-factorizabilities, $S\mathcal{M}$-factorizabilities and $PS\mathcal{M}$-factorizabilities, respectively. Some properties of the four classes of spaces are investigated.

On $\mathbf{K}$-reflections of Scott spaces

In this paper, for a full subcategory $\mathbf{K}$ of the category of all $T_0$ spaces with continuous mappings, we investigate the questions under what conditions the $\mathbf{K}$-reflection of a Scott space is still a Scott space and under what conditions the Scott $\mathbf{K}$-completion of a poset exists. Some necessary and sufficient conditions for the $\mathbf{K}$-reflection of a Scott space to be a Scott space and for the existence of Scott $\mathbf{K}$-completion of a poset are established, respectively. It is shown that neither the sobrification nor the well-filtered reflection of the Johnstone space is a Scott space. The $\mathbf{K}$-reflections of Alexandroff spaces and the $\mathbf{K}$-completions of posets are also discussed.

On Function Spaces Related to H-sober Spaces

In this paper, we mainly study the function spaces related to H-sober spaces. For an irreducible subset system H and $T_{0}$ spaces $X$ and $Y$, it is proved that $Y$ is H-sober iff the function space $\mathbb{C}(X, Y)$ of all continuous functions $f : X\longrightarrow Y$ equipped with the topology of pointwise convergence is H-sober iff the function space $\mathbb{C}(X, Y)$ equipped with the Isbell topology is H-sober. One immediate corollary is that for a $T_{0}$ space $X$, $Y$ is a sober space (resp., $d$-space, well-filtered space) iff the function space $\mathbb{C}(X, Y)$ equipped with the topology of pointwise convergence is a sober space (resp., $d$-space, well-filtered space) iff the function space $\mathbb{C}(X, Y)$ equipped with the the Isbell topology is a sober space (resp., $d$-space, well-filtered space). It is shown that $T_{0}$ spaces $X$ and $Y$, if the function space $\mathbb{C}(X, Y)$ equipped with the compact-open topology is H-sober, then $Y$ is H-sober. The function space $\mathbb{C}(X, Y)$ equipped with the Scott topology is also discussed.

Non-reflective categories of some kinds of weakly sober spaces

Erné weakened the concept of sobriety in order to extend the theory of sober spaces and locally hypercompact spaces to situations where directed joins were missing, and introduced and discussed three kinds of non-sober spaces: cut spaces, weakly sober spaces, and quasisober spaces. Three other kinds of non-sober spaces, namely $\mathsf{DC}$ space, $\mathsf{RD}$ space and $\mathsf{WD}$ space, were introduced and investigated by Xu, Shen, Xi and Zhao. All these six kinds of spaces are strictly weaker than sober spaces. In this paper, it is shown that none of the category of all $\mathsf{DC}$ spaces, that of all $\mathsf{RD}$ spaces, that of all $\mathsf{WD}$ spaces, that of all quasisober spaces, that of all weakly spaces and that of all cut spaces is reflective in the category of all $T_0$ spaces with continuous mappings.

Quotient spaces with strong subgyrogroups

In this paper, we mainly investigate the quotient spaces G/H when G is a strongly topological gyrogroup and H is a strong subgyrogroup of G. It is shown that if G is a strongly topological gyrogroup, H is a closed strong subgyrogroup of G and H is inner neutral, then the quotient space G/H is first-countable if and only if G/H is a bisequential space if and only if G/H is a weakly first-countable space if and only if G/H is a csf-countable and sequential a7-space. Moreover, it is shown that if H is a locally compact metrizable strong subgyrogroup of G and the quotient space G/H is sequential, then G is also sequential; if H is a closed first-countable and separable strong subgyrogroup of G, the quotient space G/H is a cosmic space, then G is also a cosmic space; if the quotient space G/H has a star-countable cs-network or star-countable wcs*-network, then G also has a star-countable cs-network or star-countable wcs*-network, respectively.

A class of quotient spaces in strongly topological gyrogroups

Quotient space is a class of the most important topological spaces in the research of topology. In this paper, we show that if G is a strongly topological gyrogroup with a symmetric neighborhood base U at 0 and H is an admissible subgyrogroup generated from U , then G/H is first-countable if and only if it is metrizable. Moreover, if H is neutral and G/H is Frechet-Urysohn with an ωω-base, then G/H is first-countable. Therefore, we obtain that if H is neutral, then G/H is metrizable if and only if G/H is Frechet-Urysohn with an ωω-base. Finally, it is shown that if H is neutral, π\c{hi}(G/H) = \c{hi}(G/H) and πω(G/H) = ω(G/H).

Topological gyrogroups with Frechet-Urysohn property and omega^{omega}-base

The concept of topological gyrogroups is a generalization of a topological group. In this work, ones prove that a topological gyrogroup G is metrizable iff G has an ωω-base and G is Frechet-Urysohn. Moreover, in topological gyrogroups, every (countably, sequentially) compact subset being strictly (strongly) Frechet-Urysohn and having an ωω-base are all weakly three-space properties with H a closed L-subgyrogroup

The strong Pytkeev property and strong countable completeness in (strongly) topological gyrogroups

A topological gyrogroup is a gyrogroup endowed with a topology such that the binary operation is jointly continuous and the inverse mapping is also continuous. In this paper, it is proved that if $G$ is a sequential topological gyrogroup with an $ω^ω$-base, then $G$ has the strong Pytkeev property. Moreover, some equivalent conditions about $ω^ω$-base and strong Pytkeev property are given in Baire topological gyrogroups. Finally, it is shown that if $G$ is a strongly countably complete strongly topological gyrogroup, then $G$ contains a closed, countably compact, admissible subgyrogroup $P$ such that the quotient space $G/P$ is metrizable and the canonical homomorphism $π:G\rightarrow G/P$ is closed.

On open well-filtered spaces

We introduce and study a new class of $T_0$ spaces, called open well-filtered spaces. The main results we proved include (1) every well-filtered space is an open well-filtered space; (2) every core-compact open well-filtered space is sober. As an immediate corollary, we deduce that every core-compact well-filtered space is sober. This provides another different and relatively more straight forward method to answer the open problem posed by Jia and Jung: Is every core-compact well-filtered space sober?

Separability in (strongly) topological gyrogroups

Separability is one of the most basic and important topological properties. In this paper, the separability in (strongly) topological gyrogroups is studied. It is proved that every first-countable left ω-narrow strongly topological gyrogroup is separable. Furthermore, it is shown that if a feathered strongly topological gyrogroup G is isomorphic to a subgyrogroup of a separable strongly topological gyrogroup, then G is separable. Therefore, if a metrizable strongly topological gyrogroup G is isomorphic to a subgyrogroup of a separable strongly topological gyrogroup, then G is separable, and if a locally compact strongly topological gyrogroup G is isomorphic to a subgyrogroup of a separable strongly topological gyrogroup, then G is separable.

$ω$-Rudin spaces, well-filtered determined spaces and first-countable spaces

We investigate some versions of $d$-space, well-filtered space and Rudin space concerning various countability properties. The main results include: (i) if the sobrification of a $T_0$ space $X$ is first-countable, then $X$ is an $ω$-Rudin space; (ii) every $ω$-well-filtered space is sober if its sobrification is first-countable; (iii) if a $T_0$ space is second-countable or first-countable and with a countable underlying set, then it is a $ω$-Rudin space; (iv) every first-countable $T_0$ space is well-filtered determined; (v) every irreducible closed subset in a first-countable $ω$-well-filtered space is countably-directed; (vi) every first-countable $ω$-well-filtered $ω^\ast$-$d$-space is sober.

In this paper, we shall present a brief summarising survey on some of such development. Furthermore, we shall pose and illustrate some open problems on well-filtered spaces and sober spaces.

On H-sober spaces and H-sobrifications of $T_0$ spaces

In this paper, we provide a uniform approach to $d$-spaces, sober spaces and well-filtered spaces, and develop a general framework for dealing with all these spaces. For a subset system H, the theory of H-sober spaces and super H-sober spaces is established, and a direct construction of the H-sobrifcations and super H-sobrifications of $T_0$ spaces is given. Therefore, the category of all H-sober spaces is reflective in $\mathbf{Top}_0$, and the category of all super H-sober spaces is also reflective in $\mathbf{Top}_0$ if H has a natural property (called property M). It is shown that the H-sobrification preserves finite products of $T_0$ spaces, and the super H-sobrification preserves finite products of $T_0$ spaces if H has property M.

Coincidence of the upper Vietoris topology and the Scott topology

For a $T_0$ space $X$, let $\mk (X)$ be the poset of all compact saturated sets of $X$ with the reverse inclusion order. The space $X$ is said to have property Q if for any $K_1, K_2\in \mk (X)$, $K_2\ll K_1$ in $\mk (X)$ if{}f $K_2\subseteq \ii~\!K_1$. In this paper, we give several connections among the well-filteredness of $X$, the sobriety of $X$, the local compactness of $X$, the core compactness of $X$, the property Q of $X$, the coincidence of the upper Vietoris topology and Scott topology on $\mk (X)$, and the continuity of $x\mapsto\ua x : X \longrightarrow Σ~\!\! \mk (X)$ (where $Σ~\!\! \mk (X)$ is the Scott space of $\mk (X)$). It is shown that for a well-filtered space $X$ for which its Smyth power space $P_S(X)$ is first-countable, the following three properties are equivalent: the local compactness of $X$, the core compactness of $X$ and the continuity of $\mk (X)$. It is also proved that for a first-countable $T_0$ space $X$ in which the set of minimal elements of $K$ is countable for any compact saturated subset $K$ of $X$, the Smyth power space $P_S(X)$ is first-countable. For the Alexandroff double circle $Y$, which is Hausdorff and first-countable, we show that its Smyth power space $P_S(Y)$ is not first-countable.

On topological Rudin's lemma, well-filtered spaces and sober spaces

Based on topological Rudin's Lemma, we investigate two new kinds of sets - Rudin sets and well-filtered determined sets in $T_0$ topological spaces. Using such sets, we formulate and prove some new characterizations for well-filtered spaces and sober spaces. Part of the work was inspired by Xi and Lawson's work on well-filtered spaces. Our study also lead to a new class of spaces - strong $d$-spaces and some problems whose solutions will strengthen our understanding of the related structures.
