DACESR: Degradation-Aware Conditional Embedding for Real-World Image Super-Resolution

Multimodal large models have shown excellent ability in addressing image super-resolution in real-world scenarios by leveraging language class as condition information, yet their abilities in degraded images remain limited. In this paper, we first revisit the capabilities of the Recognize Anything Model (RAM) for degraded images by calculating text similarity. We find that directly using contrastive learning to fine-tune RAM in the degraded space is difficult to achieve acceptable results. To address this issue, we employ a degradation selection strategy to propose a Real Embedding Extractor (REE), which achieves significant recognition performance gain on degraded image content through contrastive learning. Furthermore, we use a Conditional Feature Modulator (CFM) to incorporate the high-level information of REE for a powerful Mamba-based network, which can leverage effective pixel information to restore image textures and produce visually pleasing results. Extensive experiments demonstrate that the REE can effectively help image super-resolution networks balance fidelity and perceptual quality, highlighting the great potential of Mamba in real-world applications. Over-the-Air Adversarial Attack Detection: from Datasets to Defenses

Automatic Speaker Verification (ASV) systems can be used for voice-enabled applications for identity verification. However, recent studies have exposed these systems' vulnerabilities to both over-the-line (OTL) and over-the-air (OTA) adversarial attacks. Although various detection methods have been proposed to counter these threats, they have not been thoroughly tested due to the lack of a comprehensive data set. To address this gap, we developed the AdvSV 2.0 dataset, which contains 628k samples with a total duration of 800 hours. This dataset incorporates classical adversarial attack algorithms, ASV systems, and encompasses both OTL and OTA scenarios. Furthermore, we introduce a novel adversarial attack method based on a Neural Replay Simulator (NRS), which enhances the potency of adversarial OTA attacks, thereby presenting a greater threat to ASV systems. To defend against these attacks, we propose CODA-OCC, a contrastive learning approach within the one-class classification framework. Experimental results show that CODA-OCC achieves an EER of 11.2% and an AUC of 0.95 on the AdvSV 2.0 dataset, outperforming several state-of-the-art detection methods.

HASN: Hybrid Attention Separable Network for Efficient Image Super-resolution

Recently, lightweight methods for single image super-resolution (SISR) have gained significant popularity and achieved impressive performance due to limited hardware resources. These methods demonstrate that adopting residual feature distillation is an effective way to enhance performance. However, we find that using residual connections after each block increases the model's storage and computational cost. Therefore, to simplify the network structure and learn higher-level features and relationships between features, we use depthwise separable convolutions, fully connected layers, and activation functions as the basic feature extraction modules. This significantly reduces computational load and the number of parameters while maintaining strong feature extraction capabilities. To further enhance model performance, we propose the Hybrid Attention Separable Block (HASB), which combines channel attention and spatial attention, thus making use of their complementary advantages. Additionally, we use depthwise separable convolutions instead of standard convolutions, significantly reducing the computational load and the number of parameters while maintaining strong feature extraction capabilities. During the training phase, we also adopt a warm-start retraining strategy to exploit the potential of the model further. Extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach. Our method achieves a smaller model size and reduced computational complexity without compromising performance. Code can be available at https://github.com/nathan66666/HASN.git

DVMSR: Distillated Vision Mamba for Efficient Super-Resolution

Efficient Image Super-Resolution (SR) aims to accelerate SR network inference by minimizing computational complexity and network parameters while preserving performance. Existing state-of-the-art Efficient Image Super-Resolution methods are based on convolutional neural networks. Few attempts have been made with Mamba to harness its long-range modeling capability and efficient computational complexity, which have shown impressive performance on high-level vision tasks. In this paper, we propose DVMSR, a novel lightweight Image SR network that incorporates Vision Mamba and a distillation strategy. The network of DVMSR consists of three modules: feature extraction convolution, multiple stacked Residual State Space Blocks (RSSBs), and a reconstruction module. Specifically, the deep feature extraction module is composed of several residual state space blocks (RSSB), each of which has several Vision Mamba Moudles(ViMM) together with a residual connection. To achieve efficiency improvement while maintaining comparable performance, we employ a distillation strategy to the vision Mamba network for superior performance. Specifically, we leverage the rich representation knowledge of teacher network as additional supervision for the output of lightweight student networks. Extensive experiments have demonstrated that our proposed DVMSR can outperform state-of-the-art efficient SR methods in terms of model parameters while maintaining the performance of both PSNR and SSIM.
