Qwen-Image-Bench: From Generation to Creation in Text-to-Image Evaluation

Text-to-Image generation has evolved from basic image synthesis into a frequently used core capability in professional creative workflows, where simple text-image alignment can no longer satisfy users' pressing demands for faithful real-world reconstruction and genuine creative expression. Existing benchmarks, however, remain anchored in these foundational criteria and do not yet capture the nuanced capabilities that matter in authentic artistic practice, making it difficult to reliably distinguish state-of-the-art T2I models. To address the gap, we introduce Qwen-Image-Bench, a creator-centric benchmark co-designed with professional artists and grounded in real-world creation scenarios. Qwen-Image-Bench enriches conventional evaluation with two application-driven dimensions: Real-world Fidelity and Creative Generation. Drawing on the staged reasoning inherent in professional artistic workflows, we organize these five pillars into a top-down hierarchical taxonomy that further decomposes into 23 second-level sub-capabilities and 56 third-level verifiable rubrics. To ensure broad coverage, we curate 1000 stratified prompts with each prompt jointly exercising more than four fine-grained facets across multiple pillars. We train a unified judge model Q-Judger based on Qwen3.6-27B, supervised by 80 professional annotators from global art academies under blind labeling and triple-review protocols, that scores every image across all 56 verifiable facets, producing fine-grained, rubric-grounded, and fully attributable diagnostics rather than a single opaque score. Empirically, Qwen-Image-Bench reliably distinguishes leading T2I models, achieving the greatest separation on the two application-driven dimensions of Real-world Fidelity and Creative Generation where existing benchmarks provide little insight, while also providing a trustworthy optimization signal for production-level T2I development.

QuarkMed Medical Foundation Model Technical Report

Recent advancements in large language models have significantly accelerated their adoption in healthcare applications, including AI-powered medical consultations, diagnostic report assistance, and medical search tools. However, medical tasks often demand highly specialized knowledge, professional accuracy, and customization capabilities, necessitating a robust and reliable foundation model. QuarkMed addresses these needs by leveraging curated medical data processing, medical-content Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and a large-scale, verifiable reinforcement learning pipeline to develop a high-performance medical foundation model. The model achieved 70% accuracy on the Chinese Medical Licensing Examination, demonstrating strong generalization across diverse medical benchmarks. QuarkMed offers a powerful yet versatile personal medical AI solution, already serving over millions of users at ai.quark.cn.

Laser intensity noise suppression for space-borne gravitational wave mission

Laser intensity noise is a main limitation of measurement and sensing mission represented by gravitational wave detection. We develop a noise decomposition model and design the core elements of the feedback loop independently based on the analysis results. We construct a fiber amplifier system with ultra-low intensity noise in the 0.1 mHz-1 Hz frequency band by the employment of an optoelectronic feedback loop that is specially designed. The study provides experimental basis and technologies for precise measurement and sensing system at ultra-low frequency.

CBLUE: A Chinese Biomedical Language Understanding Evaluation Benchmark

Artificial Intelligence (AI), along with the recent progress in biomedical language understanding, is gradually changing medical practice. With the development of biomedical language understanding benchmarks, AI applications are widely used in the medical field. However, most benchmarks are limited to English, which makes it challenging to replicate many of the successes in English for other languages. To facilitate research in this direction, we collect real-world biomedical data and present the first Chinese Biomedical Language Understanding Evaluation (CBLUE) benchmark: a collection of natural language understanding tasks including named entity recognition, information extraction, clinical diagnosis normalization, single-sentence/sentence-pair classification, and an associated online platform for model evaluation, comparison, and analysis. To establish evaluation on these tasks, we report empirical results with the current 11 pre-trained Chinese models, and experimental results show that state-of-the-art neural models perform by far worse than the human ceiling. Our benchmark is released at \url{https://tianchi.aliyun.com/dataset/dataDetail?dataId=95414&lang=en-us}.

Andreev spectroscopy of the triplet superconductivity state in Bi/Ni bilayer system

We calculate the Andreev spectroscopy between a ferromagnetic lead and Bi/Ni bilayer system for three types of superconducting states, including ABM state, ABM state mixing with S-wave state, ABM state mixing with pz-wave state. Among them, ABM state and ABM state mixing with S- wave state can obtain the Andreev conductance consistent with the point contact experiment[G. J. Zhao,et al, arXiv:1810.10403], but failed to explain the experiment of time-domain THz spectroscopy experiment[Prashant Chauhan,et al, Phys. Rev. Lett. 122, 017002(2019)]. Only the ABM state mixing with pz-wave state can explain both experiments. Besides, we reveal the conductance peak near the zero energy is induced by the surface state of the ABM phase. Our work may provides helpful clarification for understanding of recent experiments.

Charge transport properties of the Majorana zero mode induced noncollinear spin selective Andreev reflection

We study the charge transport of the spin-selective Andreev reflection(SSAR) effect between a spin polarized scanning tunneling microscope(STM) tip and a Majorana zero mode(MZM). Considering both the MZM and the excited states, we calculate the conductance and the shot noise power of the noncollinear SSAR using scattering theory. We find the influence of first excited states cannot be avoided when the spin polarization direction of the STM tip and the MZM are not collinear. In this case, the first excited states give rise to inside peaks and change the conductance peak value at zero energy. Moreover, we numerically calculate the shot noise power and the Fano factor of the SSAR effect. Our calculation shows that the shot noise power and the Fano factor are related to the angle between the spin polarization direction of the STM tip and that of the MZM. These transport properties of the SSAR effect provide additional characteristics to detect the MZM via SSAR.
