Test-Time Weak-to-Strong Alignment: Transferring Implicit Rewards from Weak to Strong Flow Models

Aligning a text-to-image generation flow model with a reward makes it follow objectives that the training data alone does not provide. Alignment fine-tuning delivers this by reinforcement learning (RL) or preference optimization, but it must be repeated for every checkpoint and returns a model fixed at the reward and strength it was trained with. Test-time alignment instead steers a frozen model during sampling, allowing task-specific and sample-specific guidance. Existing methods obtain this only by drawing the per-step signal from the reward function itself, through its gradient, or through a separately trained value function. We propose changing the supervision source: let a pair of weak models, not a reward function, supply the supervision. A source aligned model, kept together with its base as a source alignment pair, stores its training reward as an implicit, step-wise, KL-anchored signal expressed in the sampler's own coordinates. We explore whether this model-form supervision can cross scale, and show that it does: our method, AlignGraft, aligns a larger, frozen, never-tuned model by adding the pair's velocity difference during sampling. The transport is exact under a shared noising kernel and needs neither the reward nor its gradient at test time. The method has no schedules, only a single scalar that controls the alignment strength and can extrapolate it beyond that of the source alignment pair. Across image and video flow models (Stable Diffusion 3.5, FLUX, and Wan), the transfer lifts the frozen large model on preference, compositional, and text-rendering rewards, can exceed the source aligned model itself, and preserves the large model's fidelity at a small constant sampling overhead. Extensive experiments show that one alignment run on a weak model produces supervision that the whole model family can reuse at test time.

SkillAdaptor: Self-Adapting Skills for LLM Agents from Trajectories

Large language model (LLM) agents increasingly rely on reusable external skills to solve long-horizon interactive tasks. Existing training-free skill adaptation pipelines usually update skills from full trajectories or session-level feedback, which makes failure attribution coarse and often produces unstable or overly broad revisions. We propose SkillAdaptor, a training-free step-level skill adaptation framework with explicit failure attribution, and it can plug into OpenClaw-class agent harnesses. Given a failed trajectory, SkillAdaptor identifies a first actionable fault step, links responsibility to candidate skills, and applies targeted updates under explicit acceptance checks while keeping the backbone frozen. We evaluate on WebShop, PinchBench, and Claw-Eval with Kimi-K2.5, GLM-5, and GPT-5.2. SkillAdaptor improves over no-skill and skill-adaptation baselines on all three suites, with the largest single-metric improvements of +1.5 points on PinchBench Avg Score%, +1.8 on Claw-Eval Avg Score, and +1.7 on WebShop success rate. These results indicate that step-level attribution supports more stable and auditable training-free skill maintenance\footnote{The code will be released at https://github.com/zjunlp/SkillAdaptor.}.

4DThinker: Thinking with 4D Imagery for Dynamic Spatial Understanding

Dynamic spatial reasoning from monocular video is essential for bridging visual intelligence and the physical world, yet remains challenging for vision-language models (VLMs). Prior approaches either verbalize spatial-temporal reasoning entirely as text, which is inherently verbose and imprecise for complex dynamics, or rely on external geometric modules that increase inference complexity without fostering intrinsic model capability. In this paper, we present 4DThinker, the first framework that enables VLMs to "think with 4D" through dynamic latent mental imagery, i.e., internally simulating how scenes evolve within the continuous hidden space. Specifically, we first introduce a scalable, annotation-free data generation pipeline that synthesizes 4D reasoning data from raw videos. We then propose Dynamic-Imagery Fine-Tuning (DIFT), which jointly supervises textual tokens and 4D latents to ground the model in dynamic visual semantics. Building on this, 4D Reinforcement Learning (4DRL) further tackles complex reasoning tasks via outcome-based rewards, restricting policy gradients to text tokens to ensure stable optimization. Extensive experiments across multiple dynamic spatial reasoning benchmarks demonstrate that 4DThinker consistently outperforms strong baselines and offers a new perspective toward 4D reasoning in VLMs. Our code is available at https://github.com/zhangquanchen/4DThinker.

SGA-MCTS: Decoupling Planning from Execution via Training-Free Atomic Experience Retrieval

LLM-powered systems require complex multi-step decision-making abilities to solve real-world tasks, yet current planning approaches face a trade-off between the high latency of inference-time search and the limited generalization of supervised fine-tuning. To address this limitation, we introduce \textbf{SGA-MCTS}, a framework that casts LLM planning as non-parametric retrieval. Offline, we leverage Monte Carlo Tree Search (MCTS) to explore the solution space and distill high-fidelity trajectories into State-Goal-Action (SGA) atoms. These atoms are de-lexicalized primitives that abstract concrete entities into symbolic slots, preserving reusable causal logic while discarding domain-specific noise. Online, a retrieval-augmented agent employs a hybrid symbolic-semantic mechanism to fetch relevant SGAs and re-ground them into the current context as soft reasoning hints. Empirical results on complex benchmarks demonstrate that this paradigm enables frozen, open-weights models to match the performance of SOTA systems (e.g., GPT-5) without task-specific fine-tuning. By effectively amortizing the heavy computational cost of search, SGA-MCTS achieves System 2 reasoning depth at System 1 inference speeds, rendering autonomous planning both scalable and real-time feasible.

SkillX: Automatically Constructing Skill Knowledge Bases for Agents

Learning from experience is critical for building capable large language model (LLM) agents, yet prevailing self-evolving paradigms remain inefficient: agents learn in isolation, repeatedly rediscover similar behaviors from limited experience, resulting in redundant exploration and poor generalization. To address this problem, we propose SkillX, a fully automated framework for constructing a \textbf{plug-and-play skill knowledge base} that can be reused across agents and environments. SkillX operates through a fully automated pipeline built on three synergistic innovations: \textit{(i) Multi-Level Skills Design}, which distills raw trajectories into three-tiered hierarchy of strategic plans, functional skills, and atomic skills; \textit{(ii) Iterative Skills Refinement}, which automatically revises skills based on execution feedback to continuously improve library quality; and \textit{(iii) Exploratory Skills Expansion}, which proactively generates and validates novel skills to expand coverage beyond seed training data. Using a strong backbone agent (GLM-4.6), we automatically build a reusable skill library and evaluate its transferability on challenging long-horizon, user-interactive benchmarks, including AppWorld, BFCL-v3, and $\tau^2$-Bench. Experiments show that SkillKB consistently improves task success and execution efficiency when plugged into weaker base agents, highlighting the importance of structured, hierarchical experience representations for generalizable agent learning. Our code will be publicly available soon at https://github.com/zjunlp/SkillX.

CATNet: Collaborative Alignment and Transformation Network for Cooperative Perception

Cooperative perception significantly enhances scene understanding by integrating complementary information from diverse agents. However, existing research often overlooks critical challenges inherent in real-world multi-source data integration, specifically high temporal latency and multi-source noise. To address these practical limitations, we propose Collaborative Alignment and Transformation Network (CATNet), an adaptive compensation framework that resolves temporal latency and noise interference in multi-agent systems. Our key innovations can be summarized in three aspects. First, we introduce a Spatio-Temporal Recurrent Synchronization (STSync) that aligns asynchronous feature streams via adjacent-frame differential modeling, establishing a temporal-spatially unified representation space. Second, we design a Dual-Branch Wavelet Enhanced Denoiser (WTDen) that suppresses global noise and reconstructs localized feature distortions within aligned representations. Third, we construct an Adaptive Feature Selector (AdpSel) that dynamically focuses on critical perceptual features for robust fusion. Extensive experiments on multiple datasets demonstrate that CATNet consistently outperforms existing methods under complex traffic conditions, proving its superior robustness and adaptability.

SkillNet: Create, Evaluate, and Connect AI Skills

Current AI agents can flexibly invoke tools and execute complex tasks, yet their long-term advancement is hindered by the lack of systematic accumulation and transfer of skills. Without a unified mechanism for skill consolidation, agents frequently ``reinvent the wheel'', rediscovering solutions in isolated contexts without leveraging prior strategies. To address this challenge, we introduce SkillNet, an open infrastructure for creating, evaluating, and organizing AI skills at scale. SkillNet structures skills within a unified ontology that supports creating skills from heterogeneous sources, establishing rich relational connections, and performing multi-dimensional evaluation across Safety, Completeness, Executability, Maintainability, and Cost-awareness. Our infrastructure integrates a repository of over 600,000 skills, an interactive platform, and a versatile Python toolkit. Experiments on ALFWorld, WebShop, and ScienceWorld show 40% higher average rewards and 30% fewer execution steps across multiple backbone models. Furthermore, SkillNet-Gym benchmarks skill retrieval, utilization, and composition, while SkillNet-Fabric enables task-specific skill routing through lightweight Wikis. By formalizing skills as evolving, composable assets, SkillNet provides a robust foundation for agents to move from transient experience to durable mastery.

HyperAlign: Hypernetwork for Efficient Test-Time Alignment of Diffusion Models

Diffusion model alignment aims to bridge the gap between generated outputs and human preferences by enhancing both semantic consistency with textual prompts and overall visual quality. Existing alignment methods face a challenging trade-off: test-time approaches enable input-specific adaptability but introduce significant computational overhead and tend to under-optimize, while fine-tuning approaches risk reward over-optimization and loss of generation diversity. To bridge this gap, we propose HyperAlign, a framework that trains a hypernetwork for efficient and effective test-time alignment. Instead of modifying latent states directly, HyperAlign dynamically generates input-and-state-conditioned low-rank adaptation weights to modulate the denoising trajectory toward target rewards. We introduce multiple HyperAlign variants of varying granularity to balance alignment quality and computational efficiency. The hypernetwork is optimized with a reward objective regularized by preference data to mitigate reward hacking. We evaluate HyperAlign across multiple generative paradigms, including Stable Diffusion and FLUX, where it significantly outperforms existing alignment methods in semantic consistency and visual quality.

EPARA: Parallelizing Categorized AI Inference in Edge Clouds

With the increasing adoption of AI applications such as large language models and computer vision AI, the computational demands on AI inference systems are continuously rising, making the enhancement of task processing capacity using existing hardware a primary objective in edge clouds. We propose EPARA, an end-to-end AI parallel inference framework in edge, aimed at enhancing the edge AI serving capability. Our key idea is to categorize tasks based on their sensitivity to latency/frequency and requirement for GPU resources, thereby achieving both request-level and service-level task-resource allocation. EPARA consists of three core components: 1) a task-categorized parallelism allocator that decides the parallel mode of each task, 2) a distributed request handler that performs the calculation for the specific request, and 3) a state-aware scheduler that periodically updates service placement in edge clouds. We implement a EPARA prototype and conduct a case study on the EPARA operation for LLMs and segmentation tasks. Evaluation through testbed experiments involving edge servers, embedded devices, and microcomputers shows that EPARA achieves up to 2.1$\times$ higher goodput in production workloads compared to prior frameworks, while adapting to various edge AI inference tasks.

Energy Dynamics of a Nonequilibrium Unitary Fermi Gas

We investigate the energy dynamics of a unitary Fermi gas driven away from equilibrium. The energy is injected into the system by periodically modulating the trapping potential of a spherical unitary Fermi gas, and due to the existence of SO(2,1) symmetry, the breathing mode is excited without dissipation. Through the long-lived breathing oscillation, we precisely measure the energy evolution of the nonequilibrium system during the trap modulation. We find the trapping potential and internal energies increase with modulation time and simultaneously oscillate nearly $\textrm{180}^{\textrm{o}}$ out of phase. At large modulation amplitudes, the energy-injection efficiency is strongly reduced due to the trap anharmonicity. Unlike the equilibrium system, the measured energy evolution agrees well with predictions of the dynamic virial theorem. Our work provides valuable insights into the energy injection and redistribution in a non-equilibrium system, paving a way for future investigations of nonequilibrium thermodynamics.

Baton: Compensate for Missing Wi-Fi Features for Practical Device-free Tracking

Wi-Fi contact-free sensing systems have attracted widespread attention due to their ubiquity and convenience. The integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) technology utilizes off-the-shelf Wi-Fi communication signals for sensing, which further promotes the deployment of intelligent sensing applications. However, current Wi-Fi sensing systems often require prolonged and unnecessary communication between transceivers, and brief communication interruptions will lead to significant performance degradation. This paper proposes Baton, the first system capable of accurately tracking targets even under severe Wi-Fi feature deficiencies. To be specific, we explore the relevance of the Wi-Fi feature matrix from both horizontal and vertical dimensions. The horizontal dimension reveals feature correlation across different Wi-Fi links, while the vertical dimension reveals feature correlation among different time slots. Based on the above principle, we propose the Simultaneous Tracking And Predicting (STAP) algorithm, which enables the seamless transfer of Wi-Fi features over time and across different links, akin to passing a baton. We implement the system on commercial devices, and the experimental results show that our system outperforms existing solutions with a median tracking error of 0.46m, even when the communication duty cycle is as low as 20.00%. Compared with the state-of-the-art, our system reduces the tracking error by 79.19% in scenarios with severe Wi-Fi feature deficiencies.

When Distillation Breaks Motion Control: Restoring Generative Trajectories for Fast Video Generators

Training-free motion customization imposes motion patterns from reference videos onto video generators through test-time computation. Most existing methods target full diffusion models, requiring many denoising steps and high computational cost. With the rise of efficient distilled models, a natural question arises: can test-time motion customization be applied directly to distilled generators with their accelerated sampling and efficiency gains? However, our analysis reveals that existing training-free techniques fail on distilled models. Distillation fundamentally alters the denoising dynamics that prior test-time guidance relies on, and the large denoising steps of distilled generators discard the dense intermediate states that score guidance requires, rendering existing motion control strategies incompatible with fast generation. To address this limitation, we propose MotionEcho, a novel training-free test-time distillation framework that enables motion customization for distilled video generators. The key idea is to correct the student model's sampling trajectory with restricted usage of a high-quality diffusion teacher at inference time. Teacher supervises the student's denoising by re-noising the student's endpoint onto its dense trajectory to form a motion-aligned clean endpoint, then interpolating it with the student's, while an adaptive scheduling mechanism determines when and how much teacher guidance is needed. As a result, MotionEcho restores generative trajectories for distilled video generators via lightweight, adaptive test-time teacher guidance, enabling accurate motion control without compromising generation efficiency. Extensive experiments on multiple distilled video generation models demonstrate that our method significantly improves motion fidelity and visual quality while retaining the efficiency advantages of distilled generation.

Polariton Chern Bands in 2D Photonic Crystals Beyond Dirac Cones

Polaritons, formed by strong light-matter interactions, open new avenues for studying topological phases, where the spatial and time symmetries can be controlled via the light and matter components, respectively. However, most research on topological polaritons has been confined to hexagonal photonic lattices featuring Dirac cones at large wavenumbers. This restricts key topological properties and device performance, including sub-meV gap sizes that hinder further experimental investigations and future applications of polariton Chern insulator systems. In this study, we move beyond the traditional Dirac cone framework and introduce two alternative band structures in photonic crystals (PhCs) as promising platforms for realizing polariton Chern bands: bands with symmetry-protected bound states in the continuum (BICs) and bands with symmetry-protected degeneracies at the $\Gamma$ points. These band structures are prevalent in various PhC lattices and have features crucial for experimental studies. We show examples of higher Chern number bands, more uniform Berry curvature distributions, and an experimentally feasible system capable of achieving a large topological gap. Our findings show the broad applicability of polariton Chern bands in 2D PhCs, provide design principles for enhancing the functionality and performance of topological photonic devices, opening up exciting possibilities for better understanding and using topological physics.

2D material exciton-polariton transport on 2D photonic crystals

Transport of elementary excitations is a fundamental property of 2D semiconductors, important for wide-ranging emergent phenomena and device applications. While exciton transport reported in 2D materials barely exceeds 1-2 $\mu$m, coherent coupling of excitons with photons to form polaritons allows not only greatly enhanced transport length, but also the potential to leverage photonic mode engineering for novel transport properties. However, conventional vertical cavity or waveguide polaritons are difficult to tune or integrate into photonic circuits. Here, we report the transport of transition-metal dichalcogenide polaritons in slab 2D photonic crystals that are highly versatile for tuning, mode-engineering and integration. We show an order-of-magnitude enhancement of the transport length compared to that of bare excitons. We further show the dependence of transport on the polariton dispersion and population dynamics, which we control by varying the photonic crystal design and pumping intensity. Stimulated relaxation observed in the system suggests the potential for forming superfluid polaritons with frictionless transport. These results demonstrate the 2D photonic crystal polariton system as a versatile platform to enhance and manipulate energy transport for novel photonic technologies.

DeepSeek-VL2: Mixture-of-Experts Vision-Language Models for Advanced Multimodal Understanding

We present DeepSeek-VL2, an advanced series of large Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) Vision-Language Models that significantly improves upon its predecessor, DeepSeek-VL, through two key major upgrades. For the vision component, we incorporate a dynamic tiling vision encoding strategy designed for processing high-resolution images with different aspect ratios. For the language component, we leverage DeepSeekMoE models with the Multi-head Latent Attention mechanism, which compresses Key-Value cache into latent vectors, to enable efficient inference and high throughput. Trained on an improved vision-language dataset, DeepSeek-VL2 demonstrates superior capabilities across various tasks, including but not limited to visual question answering, optical character recognition, document/table/chart understanding, and visual grounding. Our model series is composed of three variants: DeepSeek-VL2-Tiny, DeepSeek-VL2-Small and DeepSeek-VL2, with 1.0B, 2.8B and 4.5B activated parameters respectively. DeepSeek-VL2 achieves competitive or state-of-the-art performance with similar or fewer activated parameters compared to existing open-source dense and MoE-based models. Codes and pre-trained models are publicly accessible at https://github.com/deepseek-ai/DeepSeek-VL2.

DyMO: Training-Free Diffusion Model Alignment with Dynamic Multi-Objective Scheduling

Text-to-image diffusion model alignment is critical for improving the alignment between the generated images and human preferences. While training-based methods are constrained by high computational costs and dataset requirements, training-free alignment methods remain underexplored and are often limited by inaccurate guidance. We propose a plug-and-play training-free alignment method, DyMO, for aligning the generated images and human preferences during inference. Apart from text-aware human preference scores, we introduce a semantic alignment objective for enhancing the semantic alignment in the early stages of diffusion, relying on the fact that the attention maps are effective reflections of the semantics in noisy images. We propose dynamic scheduling of multiple objectives and intermediate recurrent steps to reflect the requirements at different steps. Experiments with diverse pre-trained diffusion models and metrics demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed method.

Persistent breather and dynamical symmetry in a unitary Fermi gas

SO(2,1) dynamical symmetry makes a remarkable prediction that the breathing oscillation of a scale invariant quantum gas in an isotropic harmonic trap is isentropic and can persist indefinitely. In 2D, this symmetry is broken due to quantum anomaly in the strongly interacting range, and consequently the lifetime of the breathing mode becomes finite. The persistent breather in a strongly interacting system has so far not been realized. Here we experimentally achieve the long-lived breathing mode in a 3D unitary Fermi gas, which is protected by the SO(2,1) symmetry. The nearly perfect SO(2,1) symmetry is realized by loading the ultracold Fermi gas in an isotropic trap and tuning the interatomic interaction to resonance. The breathing mode oscillates at twice the trapping frequency even for large excitation amplitudes. The ratio of damping rate to oscillation frequency is as small as 0.002, providing an interacting persistent breather. The oscillation frequency and damping rate keep nearly constant for different atomic densities and temperatures, demonstrating the robustness of the SO(2,1) symmetry in 3D. The factors that lead to the residual damping have also been clarified. This work opens the way to study many-body non-equilibrium dynamics related to the dynamical symmetry.
