$B_{s} \to (ρ, ω, ϕ) η^{(\prime)}$ Decays in the Perturbative QCD Approach

In this paper, we calculate the branching ratios and CP-violating asymmetries for $B_{s} \to (ρ^0,ω, ϕ) η^{(\prime)}$ decays in the perturbative QCD (pQCD) factorization approach. Numerically we found that (a) the pQCD predictions for the CP-averaged branching ratios are $Br(B_{s}\toρ^0 η)\approx 0.07 \times 10^{-6}$, $Br(B_{s}\toρ^{0}η^\prime) \approx 0.10 \times 10^{-6}$, $Br(B_{s} \toωη) \approx 0.02 \times 10^{-6}$, $Br(B_{s} \toωη^\prime) \approx 0.13 \times 10^{-6}$, $Br(B_{s} \toϕη) \approx 2.7 \times 10^{-5}$ and $Br(B_{s} \toϕη^\prime) \approx 2.0 \times 10^{-5}$; (b) the gluonic contributions are small in size: less than 3% for $B \to (ρ, ω, ϕ) η$ decays, and about 10% for $B \to (ρ, ω, ϕ) η^\prime$ decays; and (c) the pQCD predictions for the CP-violating asymmetries of the considered decays are generally not large in magnitude. The above predictions can be tested in the forthcoming LHC-b experiments at CERN.

Branching Ratio and CP Asymmetry of $B^0 \to η^{(\prime)} η^{(\prime)}$ Decays in the Perturbative QCD Approach

We calculate the CP averaged branching ratios and CP-violating asymmetries for $B^0 \to ηη, ηη^\prime$ and $η^\prime η^\prime$ decays by employing the perturbative QCD (pQCD) factorization approach. The pQCD predictions for the CP-averaged branching ratios are $Br(B^0 \to ηη) \approx 0.67 \times 10^{-7}$, $Br(B^0 \to ηη^\prime) \approx 0.18 \times 10^{-7}$, and $Br(B^0 \to η^{\prime} η^{\prime}) \approx 0.11 \times 10^{-7}$, which are consistent with currently available experimental upper limits. We also predict large CP-violating asymmetries for the considered three decay modes, which can be tested by the future B meson experiments.

Branching Ratio and CP Asymmetry of $B_{s} \to ρ(ω) K $ Decays in the Perturbative QCD Approach

In this paper, we calculate the branching ratios and CP-violating asymmetries for $B_{s}\to ρ^\pm K^\mp$, $B_{s}\toρ^{0}\bar{K}^0 $ and $B_{s}\toω\bar{K}^0$ decays in the perturbative QCD (pQCD) factorization approach. The theoretical predictions for the CP averaged branching ratios of the considered decays are: $Br(B_{s}\toρ^\pm K^\mp)\approx 24.7 \times 10^{-6}$, $Br(B_{s}\toρ^{0}\bar{K}^0) \approx 1.2 \times 10^{-7}$ and $Br(B_{s} \toω\bar{K}^0) \approx 1.7 \times 10^{-7}$; and we also predict very large direct CP-violating asymmetries for the latter two decay modes: $A_{CP}^{dir}(ρ^{\pm} K^{\mp})\approx -12 %$, $A_{CP}^{dir}(ρ^0\bar{K}^0)\approx -92%$, $A_{CP}^{dir}(ω^0\bar{K}^0)\approx 81%$, $A_{CP}^{mix}(ρ^0\bar{K}^0)\approx -36%$, and $A_{CP}^{mix}(ω^0\bar{K}^0) \approx -40%$, which can be tested in the forthcoming LHC-b experiments.
