General Canonical Quantum Gravity Theory and that of the Universe and General Black Hole

This paper gives both a general canonical quantum gravity theory and the general canonical quantum gravity theories of the Universe and general black hole, and discovers the relations reflecting symmetric properties of the standard nonlinear gravitational Lagrangian, which are not relevant to any concrete metric models. This paper concretely shows the general commutation relations of the general gravitational field operators and their zeroth, first, second and third style, respectively, of high order canonical momentum operators for the general nonlinear system of the standard gravitational Lagrangian, and then has finished all the four styles of the canonical quantization of the standard gravity.

Effects of global monopole on critical behaviors and microstructure of charged AdS black holes

As an intriguing topological defect, global monopole's influence on behaviors of black holes has always been anticipated but still remains less clear. Analyzing the thermodynamics of charged AdS black hole incorporating a global monopole manifests that the black hole undergoes a first-order phase transition at critical point, and of special interest, the critical behaviors qualitatively resemble a Van der Waals liquid-gas system. This paper concentrates on further investigating the charged AdS black hole with a global monopole, aiming at clarifying the significant effects of the global monopole on criticality and microstructure of charged AdS black holes. An interesting dependence on the internal global monopole can be witnessed intuitively by employing contrastive illustrations.

Thermodynamics and phase transition of charged AdS black holes with a global monopole

Thermodynamical properties of charged AdS black holes with a global monopole still remain obscure. In this paper, we investigate the thermodynamics and phase transition of the black holes in the extended phase space. It is shown that thermodynamical quantities of the black holes exhibit an interesting dependence on the internal global monopole, and they perfectly satisfy both the first law of thermodynamics and Smarr relation. Furthermore, analysis of the local and the global thermodynamical stability manifests that the charged AdS black hole undergoes an elegant phase transition at critical point. Of special interest, critical behaviors of the black holes resemble a Van der Waals liquid-gas system. Our results not only reveal the effect of a global monopole on thermodynamics of AdS black holes, but also further support that Van der Waals-like behavior of the black holes is a universal phenomenon.

Relativistic effect of entanglement in fermion-fermion scattering

We study the properties of entanglement entropy among scattering particles as observed from different inertial moving frames, based on an exemplary QED process $e^+e^-\rightarrowμ^+μ^-$. By the explicit calculation of the Wigner rotation, the entanglement entropy of scattering particles is found to be Lorentz invariant. We also study the behavior of the entanglement between spin degrees of freedom for scattering particles in moving frames. This quantity, being found to change with different inertial reference frames, does not exhibit as a Lorentz invariant.

Topological invariants for superconducting cosmic strings

Superconducting cosmic strings (SCSs) have received revived interests recently. In this paper we treat closed SCSs as oriented knotted line defects, and concentrate on their topology by studying the Hopf topological invariant. This invariant is an Abelian Chern-Simons action, from which the HOMFLYPT knot polynomial can be constructed. It is shown that the two independent parameters of the polynomial correspond to the writhe and twist contributions, separately. This new method is topologically stronger than the traditional (self-) linking number method which fails to detect essential topology of knots sometimes, shedding new light upon the study of physical intercommunications of superconducting cosmic strings as a complex system.

Tackling tangledness of cosmic strings by knot polynomial topological invariants

Cosmic strings in the early universe have received revived interest in recent years. In this paper we derive these structures as topological defects from singular distributions of the quintessence field of dark energy. Our emphasis is placed on the topological charge of tangled cosmic strings, which originates from the Hopf mapping and is a Chern-Simons action possessing strong inherent tie to knot topology. It is shown that the Kauffman bracket knot polynomial can be constructed in terms of this charge for un-oriented knotted strings, serving as a topological invariant much stronger than the traditional Gauss linking numbers in characterizing string topology. Especially, we introduce a mathematical approach of breaking-reconnection which provides a promising candidate for studying physical reconnection processes within the complexity-reducing cascades of tangled cosmic strings.
