Density properties of orbits for a hypercyclic operator on a Banach space

We study density properties of orbits for a hypercyclic operator $T$ on a separable Banach space $X$, and show that exactly one of the following four cases holds: (1) every vector in $X$ is asymptotic to zero with density one; (2) generic vectors in $X$ are distributionally irregular of type $1$; (3) generic vectors in $X$ are distributionally irregular of type $2\frac{1}{2}$ and no hypercyclic vector is distributionally irregular of type $1$; (4) every hypercyclic vector in $X$ is divergent to infinity with density one. We also present some examples concerned with weighted backward shifts on $\ell^p$ to show that all the above four cases can occur. Furthermore, we show that similar results hold for $C_0$-semigroups.

SemBridge: Semantic Token Anchoring for Continuous-Latent Autoregressive Speech Generation

Continuous-latent autoregressive speech generation has emerged as a promising alternative to discrete-token modeling by avoiding quantization loss and preserving richer acoustic information. However, continuous acoustic targets do not ex- pose linguistic structure as explicit token-level prediction tar- gets. Consequently, the autoregressive language model (LM) must acquire linguistic structure indirectly through acous- tic prediction, which can compromise the content fidelity of generated speech. We propose SemBridge, a training-only semantic-token anchoring framework for continuous-latent autoregressive speech generation. SemBridge uses discrete se- mantic tokens to directly supervise autoregressive LM states and employs a Semantic-Aligned Acoustic VAE to organize the continuous target space under the same semantic refer- ence. The semantic supervision is used only during train- ing, while inference remains entirely continuous. We evalu- ate SemBridge on zero-shot text-to-speech (TTS) and score- conditioned singing voice synthesis (SVS). Across multi- ple benchmarks, SemBridge improves content accuracy, as measured by word and character error rates (WER/CER), while maintaining competitive speaker similarity and percep- tual quality. Experimental results demonstrate that explicit semantic-token supervision for autoregressive state learning is an effective and general direction for continuous speech generation. Speech samples are available.1 The model code and checkpoints will be available at https://github.com/ASLP- lab/SemBridge

Audio-FLAN: An Instruction-Following Dataset for Unified Audio Understanding and Generation of Speech, Music, and Sound

Recent advancements in audio tokenization have significantly enhanced the integration of audio capabilities into large language models (LLMs). However, audio understanding and generation are often treated as distinct tasks, hindering the development of truly unified audio-language models. While instruction tuning has demonstrated remarkable success in improving generalization and zero-shot learning across text and vision, its application to audio remains largely unexplored. A major obstacle is the lack of comprehensive datasets that unify audio understanding and generation. To address this, we introduce Audio-FLAN, a large-scale instruction-tuning dataset covering 80 diverse tasks across speech, music, and sound domains, with over 100 million instances. Audio-FLAN lays the foundation for unified audio-language models that can seamlessly handle both understanding (e.g., transcription, comprehension) and generation (e.g., speech, music, sound) tasks across a wide range of audio domains in a zero-shot manner. The Audio-FLAN dataset is available on HuggingFace and GitHub.

SoulX-Transcriber: A Robust End-to-End Framework for Multi-Speaker Speech Transcription

Recent advances in Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) and Large Language Models (LLMs) have significantly improved speech understanding capabilities. However, multi-speaker speech transcription remains challenging task, constrained by highly similar speaker voices, rapid turn-taking transitions, overlapping utterances and inaccurate speaker boundary segmentation. These challenges become particularly pronounced in real-world conversational audio, where speaker dynamics and acoustic conditions are highly variable. This technical report presents SoulX-Transcriber, a unified multi-speaker transcription system that jointly models speaker diarization (SD) and ASR within an LLM-based framework. SoulX-Transcriber adopts a two-stage training strategy to improve both speaker discrimination and transcription robustness. In the first stage, speaker-aware multi-task continuous pre-training enhances speaker representation learning and boundary perception. In the second stage, supervised fine-tuning further optimizes the model for accurate end-to-end speaker-attributed transcription under complex multi-speaker conditions. SoulX-Transcriber delivers strong performance and robustness across multiple public benchmarks, including AliMeeting, AISHELL-4, and AMI, while maintaining high adaptability to multi-domain scenarios.

Dual-LoRA: Parameter-Efficient Adversarial Disentanglement for Cross-Lingual Speaker Verification

Cross-lingual speaker verification suffers from severe language-speaker entanglement. This causes systematic degradation in the hardest scenario: correctly accepting utterances from the same speaker across different languages while rejecting those from different speakers sharing the same language. Standard adversarial disentanglement degrades speaker discriminability; blind discriminators inadvertently penalize speaker-discriminative traits that merely correlate with language. To address this, we propose Dual-LoRA, injecting trainable task-factorized LoRA adapters into a frozen pre-trained backbone. Our core innovation is a Language-Anchored Adversary: by grounding the discriminator with an explicit language branch, adversarial gradients target true linguistic cues rather than arbitrary correlations, preserving essential speaker characteristics. Evaluated on the TidyVoice benchmark, our system achieves a 0.91% validation EER and achieves 3rd place in the official challenge.

Joint Learning Global-Local Speaker Classification to Enhance End-to-End Speaker Diarization and Recognition

Large Audio-Language Models (LALMs) have demonstrated remarkable performance in end-to-end speaker diarization and recognition. However, their speaker discriminability remains limited due to the scarcity of large-scale conversational data and the absence of explicit speaker representation optimization. To address this, we propose GLSC-SDR, a paradigm that jointly trains speaker classification with diarization and recognition. We further introduce a Global-Local Speaker Classification strategy, which uses clustered speakers as global labels and re-encoded intra-cluster speakers as local labels. This hierarchical design enhances fine-grained speaker discrimination while preserving semantic transcription accuracy. Experiments on AliMeeting, AISHELL-4, and AMI-SDM demonstrate that GLSC-SDR achieves competitive or superior performance compared to simulation-based and multi-encoder approaches, without relying on large-scale real conversational data.

SoulX-Singer: Towards High-Quality Zero-Shot Singing Voice Synthesis

While recent years have witnessed rapid progress in speech synthesis, open-source singing voice synthesis (SVS) systems still face significant barriers to industrial deployment, particularly in terms of robustness and zero-shot generalization. In this report, we introduce SoulX-Singer, a high-quality open-source SVS system designed with practical deployment considerations in mind. SoulX-Singer supports controllable singing generation conditioned on either symbolic musical scores (MIDI) or melodic representations, enabling flexible and expressive control in real-world production workflows. Trained on more than 42,000 hours of vocal data, the system supports Mandarin Chinese, English, and Cantonese and consistently achieves state-of-the-art synthesis quality across languages under diverse musical conditions. Furthermore, to enable reliable evaluation of zero-shot SVS performance in practical scenarios, we construct SoulX-Singer-Eval, a dedicated benchmark with strict training-test disentanglement, facilitating systematic assessment in zero-shot settings.

SoulX-Duplug: Plug-and-Play Streaming State Prediction Module for Realtime Full-Duplex Speech Conversation

Recent advances in spoken dialogue systems have brought increased attention to human-like full-duplex voice interactions. However, our comprehensive review of this field reveals several challenges, including the difficulty in obtaining training data, catastrophic forgetting, and limited scalability. In this work, we propose SoulX-Duplug, a plug-and-play streaming state prediction module for full-duplex spoken dialogue systems. By jointly performing streaming ASR, SoulX-Duplug explicitly leverages textual information to identify user intent, effectively serving as a semantic VAD. To promote fair evaluation, we introduce SoulX-Duplug-Eval, extending widely used benchmarks with improved bilingual coverage. Experimental results show that SoulX-Duplug enables low-latency streaming dialogue state control, and the system built upon it outperforms existing full-duplex models in overall turn management and latency performance. We have open-sourced SoulX-Duplug and SoulX-Duplug-Eval.

The ICASSP 2026 HumDial Challenge: Benchmarking Human-like Spoken Dialogue Systems in the LLM Era

Driven by the rapid advancement of Large Language Models (LLMs), particularly Audio-LLMs and Omni-models, spoken dialogue systems have evolved significantly, progressively narrowing the gap between human-machine and human-human interactions. Achieving truly ``human-like'' communication necessitates a dual capability: emotional intelligence to perceive and resonate with users' emotional states, and robust interaction mechanisms to navigate the dynamic, natural flow of conversation, such as real-time turn-taking. Therefore, we launched the first Human-like Spoken Dialogue Systems Challenge (HumDial) at ICASSP 2026 to benchmark these dual capabilities. Anchored by a sizable dataset derived from authentic human conversations, this initiative establishes a fair evaluation platform across two tracks: (1) Emotional Intelligence, targeting long-term emotion understanding and empathetic generation; and (2) Full-Duplex Interaction, systematically evaluating real-time decision-making under `` listening-while-speaking'' conditions. This paper summarizes the dataset, track configurations, and the final results.

Steering Language Model to Stable Speech Emotion Recognition via Contextual Perception and Chain of Thought

Large-scale audio language models (ALMs), such as Qwen2-Audio, are capable of comprehending diverse audio signal, performing audio analysis and generating textual responses. However, in speech emotion recognition (SER), ALMs often suffer from hallucinations, resulting in misclassifications or irrelevant outputs. To address these challenges, we propose C$^2$SER, a novel ALM designed to enhance the stability and accuracy of SER through Contextual perception and Chain of Thought (CoT). C$^2$SER integrates the Whisper encoder for semantic perception and Emotion2Vec-S for acoustic perception, where Emotion2Vec-S extends Emotion2Vec with semi-supervised learning to enhance emotional discrimination. Additionally, C$^2$SER employs a CoT approach, processing SER in a step-by-step manner while leveraging speech content and speaking styles to improve recognition. To further enhance stability, C$^2$SER introduces self-distillation from explicit CoT to implicit CoT, mitigating error accumulation and boosting recognition accuracy. Extensive experiments show that C$^2$SER outperforms existing popular ALMs, such as Qwen2-Audio and SECap, delivering more stable and precise emotion recognition. We release the training code, checkpoints, and test sets to facilitate further research.

SAC: Neural Speech Codec with Semantic-Acoustic Dual-Stream Quantization

Speech codecs that convert continuous speech signals into discrete tokens have become essential for speech language models. However, existing codecs struggle to balance high-quality reconstruction with semantically rich representations, limiting their effectiveness in both generative and understanding tasks. In this work, we propose SAC, a neural speech codec with semantic-acoustic dual-stream quantization. By disentangling semantic and acoustic modeling into two dedicated streams, SAC enables each to be optimized for its respective role. Comprehensive evaluations show that SAC achieves strong reconstruction performance across diverse bitrates under both clean and noisy conditions, with particularly high scores on UTMOS and WER, indicating superior naturalness and intelligibility. Moreover, SAC substantially surpasses prior codecs in semantic representation, approaching the level of continuous self-supervised embeddings. When used as a tokenizer for LLM-based text-to-speech, SAC enables a single-stage autoregressive (AR) TTS model that clearly outperforms state-of-the-art AR systems. Our disentanglement analysis further validates the effectiveness of the dual-stream design, offering new potential for controllable speech generation.

Mean Li-Yorke chaos for a sequence of operators on Banach spaces

In this paper, we obtain the dichotomy for mean equicontinuity and mean sensitivity for a sequence of bounded linear operators from a Banach space to a normed linear space. The mean Li-Yorke chaos for sequences and submultiplicative sequences of bounded linear operators are also studied. Furthermore, several criteria for mean Li-Yorke chaos are established.

SoulX-Podcast: Towards Realistic Long-form Podcasts with Dialectal and Paralinguistic Diversity

Recent advances in text-to-speech (TTS) synthesis have significantly improved speech expressiveness and naturalness. However, most existing systems are tailored for single-speaker synthesis and fall short in generating coherent multi-speaker conversational speech. This technical report presents SoulX-Podcast, a system designed for podcast-style multi-turn, multi-speaker dialogic speech generation, while also achieving state-of-the-art performance in conventional TTS tasks. To meet the higher naturalness demands of multi-turn spoken dialogue, SoulX-Podcast integrates a range of paralinguistic controls and supports both Mandarin and English, as well as several Chinese dialects, including Sichuanese, Henanese, and Cantonese, enabling more personalized podcast-style speech generation. Experimental results demonstrate that SoulX-Podcast can continuously produce over 90 minutes of conversation with stable speaker timbre and smooth speaker transitions. Moreover, speakers exhibit contextually adaptive prosody, reflecting natural rhythm and intonation changes as dialogues progress. Across multiple evaluation metrics, SoulX-Podcast achieves state-of-the-art performance in both monologue TTS and multi-turn conversational speech synthesis.

DialoSpeech: Dual-Speaker Dialogue Generation with LLM and Flow Matching

Recent advances in text-to-speech (TTS) synthesis, particularly those leveraging large language models (LLMs), have significantly improved expressiveness and naturalness. However, generating human-like, interactive dialogue speech remains challenging. Current systems face limitations due to the scarcity of dual-track data and difficulties in achieving naturalness, contextual coherence, and interactional dynamics, such as turn-taking, overlapping speech, and speaker consistency, in multi-turn conversations. To address these challenges, we propose DialoSpeech, a dual-track architecture combining a large language model with Chunked Flow Matching for expressive, human-like dialogue speech synthesis. DialoSpeech generates natural multi-turn conversations with coherent speaker turns and natural overlaps, supporting both Chinese and English and cross-lingual speech synthesis. We introduce a data processing pipeline to construct dual-track dialogue datasets, facilitating scalable training and experimental validation. Experiments show that our model outperforms baselines, offering a solution for generating human-like spoken dialogues. Audio samples are available at https://tiamojames.github.io/DialoSpeech

Evaluating Bias in Spoken Dialogue LLMs for Real-World Decisions and Recommendations

While biases in large language models (LLMs), such as stereotypes and cultural tendencies in outputs, have been examined and identified, their presence and characteristics in spoken dialogue models (SDMs) with audio input and output remain largely unexplored. Paralinguistic features, such as age, gender, and accent, can affect model outputs; when compounded by multi-turn conversations, these effects may exacerbate biases, with potential implications for fairness in decision-making and recommendation tasks. In this paper, we systematically evaluate biases in speech LLMs and study the impact of multi-turn dialogues with repeated negative feedback. Bias is measured using Group Unfairness Score (GUS) for decisions and similarity-based normalized statistics rate (SNSR) for recommendations, across both open-source models like Qwen2.5-Omni and GLM-4-Voice, as well as closed-source APIs such as GPT-4o Audio and Gemini-2.5-Flash. Our analysis reveals that closed-source models generally exhibit lower bias, while open-source models are more sensitive to age and gender, and recommendation tasks tend to amplify cross-group disparities. We found that biased decisions may persist in multi-turn conversations. This work provides the first systematic study of biases in end-to-end spoken dialogue models, offering insights towards fair and reliable audio-based interactive systems. To facilitate further research, we release the FairDialogue dataset and evaluation code.

UniSS: Unified Expressive Speech-to-Speech Translation with Your Voice

The ultimate goal of expressive speech-to-speech translation (S2ST) is to accurately translate spoken content while preserving the speaker identity and emotional style. However, progress in this field is largely hindered by three key challenges: the scarcity of paired speech data that retains expressive styles, the complexity of multi-stage processing pipelines, and the limited transfer of translation capabilities from large language models (LLMs). In this work, we address these challenges by introducing UniSS, a novel single-stage framework for expressive S2ST. Our approach features carefully designed speech semantic and style modeling, enabling seamless integration with existing text-based LLM frameworks to develop a unified text-speech language model. To transfer translation capabilities from text to speech, we propose a cross-modal chain-of-thought prompting process that progressively aligns audio semantics with text and ensures style preservation in the decoded results. Furthermore, we construct and release a large-scale, high-quality expressive S2ST dataset, UniST, comprising 44.8k hours of data. Experimental results show that UniSS significantly outperforms previous methods in translation fidelity and speech quality while preserving voice, emotion, and duration consistency. Our work establishes a simpler and more effective paradigm for building the next generation of expressive S2ST systems. Audio samples are available at https://cmots.github.io/uniss-demo.

FleSpeech: Flexibly Controllable Speech Generation with Various Prompts

Controllable speech generation methods typically rely on single or fixed prompts, hindering creativity and flexibility. These limitations make it difficult to meet specific user needs in certain scenarios, such as adjusting the style while preserving a selected speaker's timbre, or choosing a style and generating a voice that matches a character's visual appearance. To overcome these challenges, we propose \textit{FleSpeech}, a novel multi-stage speech generation framework that allows for more flexible manipulation of speech attributes by integrating various forms of control. FleSpeech employs a multimodal prompt encoder that processes and unifies different text, audio, and visual prompts into a cohesive representation. This approach enhances the adaptability of speech synthesis and supports creative and precise control over the generated speech. Additionally, we develop a data collection pipeline for multimodal datasets to facilitate further research and applications in this field. Comprehensive subjective and objective experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of FleSpeech. Audio samples are available at https://kkksuper.github.io/FleSpeech/

Spark-TTS: An Efficient LLM-Based Text-to-Speech Model with Single-Stream Decoupled Speech Tokens

Recent advancements in large language models (LLMs) have driven significant progress in zero-shot text-to-speech (TTS) synthesis. However, existing foundation models rely on multi-stage processing or complex architectures for predicting multiple codebooks, limiting efficiency and integration flexibility. To overcome these challenges, we introduce Spark-TTS, a novel system powered by BiCodec, a single-stream speech codec that decomposes speech into two complementary token types: low-bitrate semantic tokens for linguistic content and fixed-length global tokens for speaker attributes. This disentangled representation, combined with the Qwen2.5 LLM and a chain-of-thought (CoT) generation approach, enables both coarse-grained control (e.g., gender, speaking style) and fine-grained adjustments (e.g., precise pitch values, speaking rate). To facilitate research in controllable TTS, we introduce VoxBox, a meticulously curated 100,000-hour dataset with comprehensive attribute annotations. Extensive experiments demonstrate that Spark-TTS not only achieves state-of-the-art zero-shot voice cloning but also generates highly customizable voices that surpass the limitations of reference-based synthesis. Source code, pre-trained models, and audio samples are available at https://github.com/SparkAudio/Spark-TTS.
