Hierarchical Acoustic-Semantic Modeling: Modality Separation and Semantic Coherence for Full-Duplex SLMs

Developing seamless, high-performance, native intelligent full-duplex Spoken Language Models (SLMs) remains a critical challenge and long-standing goal for the speech and NLP community. Despite notable progress, recent endeavors are fundamentally constrained by severe modality interference, which causes substantial knowledge degradation and compromises semantic integrity -- ultimately making full-duplex SLMs feel unnatural and unintelligent. In this paper, through an exhaustive fine-grained analysis of model optimization dynamics, we uncover the root cause of such performance degradation, revealing that modality interference arises from inherent gradient conflicts between acoustic and semantic modeling when the two modalities are forced to share a deep parameter space. Guided by this key insight, we introduce Lychee-FD, a native end-to-end full-duplex framework designed to mitigate modality interference. Importantly, we propose a hierarchical parameter separation strategy that decouples conflicting modalities in deep layers while preserving cross-modality coherence via a dedicated semantic alignment channel. Extensive experiments on multiple full-duplex benchmarks demonstrate that our method significantly advances the state of the art, yielding substantial improvements in both speech intelligence (+7.4% on Spoken QA) and full-duplex interaction fluidity (+28.5% on FullDuplexBench 1.5) without compromising inference efficiency. To the best of our knowledge, this work is the first to achieve two key advances: 1) uncovering and elucidating the root cause of modality interference in full-duplex SLMs, and 2) designing an elegant hierarchical model together with a practical solution for seamless, high-performance, native intelligent full-duplex SLMs.

UniShield: An Adaptive Multi-Agent Framework for Unified Forgery Image Detection and Localization

With the rapid advancements in image generation, synthetic images have become increasingly realistic, posing significant societal risks, such as misinformation and fraud. Forgery Image Detection and Localization (FIDL) thus emerges as essential for maintaining information integrity and societal security. Despite impressive performances by existing domain-specific detection methods, their practical applicability remains limited, primarily due to their narrow specialization, poor cross-domain generalization, and the absence of an integrated adaptive framework. To address these issues, we propose UniShield, the novel multi-agent-based unified system capable of detecting and localizing image forgeries across diverse domains, including image manipulation, document manipulation, DeepFake, and AI-generated images. UniShield innovatively integrates a perception agent with a detection agent. The perception agent intelligently analyzes image features to dynamically select suitable detection models, while the detection agent consolidates various expert detectors into a unified framework and generates interpretable reports. Extensive experiments show that UniShield achieves state-of-the-art results, surpassing both existing unified approaches and domain-specific detectors, highlighting its superior practicality, adaptiveness, and scalability.

ReAlign: Generalizable Image Forgery Detection via Reasoning-Aligned Representation

The rise of AI-generated images (AIGIs) poses growing challenges for digital authenticity, prompting the need for efficient, generalizable image forgery detection systems. Existing methods, whether non-LLM-based or LLM-based, exhibit distinct advantages and limitations. While non-LLM-based models offer efficient low-level artifact detection, they often lack semantic understanding. Conversely, LLM-based methods provide strong semantic reasoning and explainability but are computationally intensive and less sensitive to subtle visual artifacts. Moreover, the true contribution of explanatory reasoning texts to forgery detection performance remains unclear. In this work, we investigate the intrinsic value and potential of LLM-generated reasoning texts, considering it a source of generalization and semantic-error sensitivity. Based on these findings, we propose ReAlign, a novel framework that distills high-quality reasoning texts generated by a GRPO-optimized LLM into a lightweight AIGI detector via contrastive learning. ReAlign effectively inherits the generalization ability and semantic sensitivity capability of reasoning textual representations, while remaining efficient and lightweight for deployment. Moreover, ReAlign adopts a tailored joint optimization strategy that integrates contrastive loss for image-text alignment and classification loss for accurate forgery discrimination. Experimental results on AIGCDetectBenchmark, AIGI-Holmes, and our newly constructed UltraSynth-10k demonstrate that ReAlign consistently outperforms existing state-of-the-art detectors in both accuracy and generalization, particularly when facing complex, high-fidelity forgeries from modern generative models.

GenShield: Unified Detection and Artifact Correction for AI-Generated Images

Diffusion-based image synthesis has made AI-generated images (AIGI) increasingly photorealistic, raising urgent concerns about authenticity in applications such as misinformation detection, digital forensics, and content moderation. Despite the substantial advances in AIGI detection, how to correct detected AI-generated images with visible artifacts and restore realistic appearance remains largely underexplored. Moreover, few existing work has established the connection between AIGI detection and artifact correction. To fill this gap, we propose GenShield, a unified autoregressive framework that jointly performs explainable AIGI detection and controllable artifact correction in a closed loop from diagnosis to restoration, revealing a mutually reinforcing relationship between these two tasks. We further introduce a Visual Chain-of-Thought based curriculum learning strategy that enables self-explained, multi-step ``diagnose-then-repair'' correction with an explicit stopping criterion. A high-quality dataset with large-scale ``artifact-restored'' pairs is also constructed alongside a unified evaluation pipeline. Extensive experiments on our correction benchmark and mainstream AIGI detection benchmarks demonstrate state-of-the-art performance and strong generalization of our method. The code is available at https://github.com/zhipeixu/GenShield.

VQ-Jarvis: Retrieval-Augmented Video Restoration Agent with Sharp Vision and Fast Thought

Video restoration in real-world scenarios is challenged by heterogeneous degradations, where static architectures and fixed inference pipelines often fail to generalize. Recent agent-based approaches offer dynamic decision making, yet existing video restoration agents remain limited by insufficient quality perception and inefficient search strategies. We propose VQ-Jarvis, a retrieval-augmented, all-in-one intelligent video restoration agent with sharper vision and faster thought. VQ-Jarvis is designed to accurately perceive degradations and subtle differences among paired restoration results, while efficiently discovering optimal restoration trajectories. To enable sharp vision, we construct VSR-Compare, the first large-scale video paired enhancement dataset with 20K comparison pairs covering 7 degradation types, 11 enhancement operators, and diverse content domains. Based on this dataset, we train a multiple operator judge model and a degradation perception model to guide agent decisions. To achieve fast thought, we introduce a hierarchical operator scheduling strategy that adapts to video difficulty: for easy cases, optimal restoration trajectories are retrieved in a one-step manner from a retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) library; for harder cases, a step-by-step greedy search is performed to balance efficiency and accuracy. Extensive experiments demonstrate that VQ-Jarvis consistently outperforms existing methods on complex degraded videos.

OARS: Process-Aware Online Alignment for Generative Real-World Image Super-Resolution

Aligning generative real-world image super-resolution models with human visual preference is challenging due to the perception--fidelity trade-off and diverse, unknown degradations. Prior approaches rely on offline preference optimization and static metric aggregation, which are often non-interpretable and prone to pseudo-diversity under strong conditioning. We propose OARS, a process-aware online alignment framework built on COMPASS, a MLLM-based reward that evaluates the LR to SR transition by jointly modeling fidelity preservation and perceptual gain with an input-quality-adaptive trade-off. To train COMPASS, we curate COMPASS-20K spanning synthetic and real degradations, and introduce a three-stage perceptual annotation pipeline that yields calibrated, fine-grained training labels. Guided by COMPASS, OARS performs progressive online alignment from cold-start flow matching to full-reference and finally reference-free RL via shallow LoRA optimization for on-policy exploration. Extensive experiments and user studies demonstrate consistent perceptual improvements while maintaining fidelity, achieving state-of-the-art performance on Real-ISR benchmarks.

Reasoning as Representation: Rethinking Visual Reinforcement Learning in Image Quality Assessment

Reasoning-based image quality assessment (IQA) models trained through reinforcement learning (RL) exhibit exceptional generalization, yet the underlying mechanisms and critical factors driving this capability remain underexplored in current research. Moreover, despite their superior performance, these models incur inference energy usage and latency orders of magnitude higher than their earlier counterparts, restricting their deployment in specific scenarios. Through extensive experiments, this paper verifies and elaborates that through RL training, MLLMs leverage their reasoning capability to convert redundant visual representations into compact, cross-domain aligned text representations. This conversion is precisely the source of the generalization exhibited by these reasoning-based IQA models. Building on this fundamental insight, we propose a novel algorithm, RALI, which employs contrastive learning to directly align images with these generalizable text representations learned by RL. This approach eliminates the reliance on reasoning processes and even obviates the need to load an LLM. For the quality scoring task, this framework achieves generalization performance comparable to reasoning-based models while requiring less than 5% of their model parameters and inference time.

Improved Adversarial Diffusion Compression for Real-World Video Super-Resolution

While many diffusion models have achieved impressive results in real-world video super-resolution (Real-VSR) by generating rich and realistic details, their reliance on multi-step sampling leads to slow inference. One-step networks like SeedVR2, DOVE, and DLoRAL alleviate this through condensing generation into one single step, yet they remain heavy, with billions of parameters and multi-second latency. Recent adversarial diffusion compression (ADC) offers a promising path via pruning and distilling these models into a compact AdcSR network, but directly applying it to Real-VSR fails to balance spatial details and temporal consistency due to its lack of temporal awareness and the limitations of standard adversarial learning. To address these challenges, we propose an improved ADC method for Real-VSR. Our approach distills a large diffusion Transformer (DiT) teacher DOVE equipped with 3D spatio-temporal attentions, into a pruned 2D Stable Diffusion (SD)-based AdcSR backbone, augmented with lightweight 1D temporal convolutions, achieving significantly higher efficiency. In addition, we introduce a dual-head adversarial distillation scheme, in which discriminators in both pixel and feature domains explicitly disentangle the discrimination of details and consistency into two heads, enabling both objectives to be effectively optimized without sacrificing one for the other. Experiments demonstrate that the resulting compressed AdcVSR model reduces complexity by 95% in parameters and achieves an 8$\times$ acceleration over its DiT teacher DOVE, while maintaining competitive video quality and efficiency.

Generative Adversarial Networks for Image Super-Resolution: A Survey

Single image super-resolution (SISR) has played an important role in the field of image processing. Recent generative adversarial networks (GANs) can achieve excellent results on low-resolution images. However, there are little literatures summarizing different GANs in SISR. In this paper, we conduct a comparative study of GANs from different perspectives. We begin by surveying the development of GANs and popular GAN variants for image-related applications, and then analyze motivations, implementations and differences of GANs based optimization methods and discriminative learning for image super-resolution in terms of supervised, semi-supervised and unsupervised manners, where these GANs are analyzed via integrating different network architectures, prior knowledge, loss functions and multiple tasks. Secondly, we compare the performances of these popular GANs on public datasets via quantitative and qualitative analysis in SISR. Finally, we highlight challenges of GANs and potential research points for SISR.

TourPlanner: A Competitive Consensus Framework with Constraint-Gated Reinforcement Learning for Travel Planning

Travel planning is a sophisticated decision-making process that requires synthesizing multifaceted information to construct itineraries. However, existing travel planning approaches face several challenges: (1) Pruning candidate points of interest (POIs) while maintaining a high recall rate; (2) A single reasoning path restricts the exploration capability within the feasible solution space for travel planning; (3) Simultaneously optimizing hard constraints and soft constraints remains a significant difficulty. To address these challenges, we propose TourPlanner, a comprehensive framework featuring multi-path reasoning and constraint-gated reinforcement learning. Specifically, we first introduce a Personalized Recall and Spatial Optimization (PReSO) workflow to construct spatially-aware candidate POIs' set. Subsequently, we propose Competitive consensus Chain-of-Thought (CCoT), a multi-path reasoning paradigm that improves the ability of exploring the feasible solution space. To further refine the plan, we integrate a sigmoid-based gating mechanism into the reinforcement learning stage, which dynamically prioritizes soft-constraint satisfaction only after hard constraints are met. Experimental results on travel planning benchmarks demonstrate that TourPlanner achieves state-of-the-art performance, significantly surpassing existing methods in both feasibility and user-preference alignment.

RaindropGS: A Benchmark for 3D Gaussian Splatting under Raindrop Conditions

3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) under raindrop conditions suffers from severe occlusions and optical distortions caused by raindrop contamination on the camera lens, substantially degrading reconstruction quality. Existing benchmarks typically evaluate 3DGS using synthetic raindrop images with known camera poses (constrained images), assuming ideal conditions. However, in real-world scenarios, raindrops often interfere with accurate camera pose estimation and point cloud initialization. Moreover, a significant domain gap between synthetic and real raindrops further impairs generalization. To tackle these issues, we introduce RaindropGS, a comprehensive benchmark designed to evaluate the full 3DGS pipeline-from unconstrained, raindrop-corrupted images to clear 3DGS reconstructions. Specifically, the whole benchmark pipeline consists of three parts: data preparation, data processing, and raindrop-aware 3DGS evaluation, including types of raindrop interference, camera pose estimation and point cloud initialization, single image rain removal comparison, and 3D Gaussian training comparison. First, we collect a real-world raindrop reconstruction dataset, in which each scene contains three aligned image sets: raindrop-focused, background-focused, and rain-free ground truth, enabling a comprehensive evaluation of reconstruction quality under different focus conditions. Through comprehensive experiments and analyses, we reveal critical insights into the performance limitations of existing 3DGS methods on unconstrained raindrop images and the varying impact of different pipeline components: the impact of camera focus position on 3DGS reconstruction performance, and the interference caused by inaccurate pose and point cloud initialization on reconstruction. These insights establish clear directions for developing more robust 3DGS methods under raindrop conditions.

UARE: A Unified Vision-Language Model for Image Quality Assessment, Restoration, and Enhancement

Image quality assessment (IQA) and image restoration are fundamental problems in low-level vision. Although IQA and restoration are closely connected conceptually, most existing work treats them in isolation. Recent advances in unified multimodal understanding-generation models demonstrate promising results and indicate that stronger understanding can improve generative performance. This motivates a single model that unifies IQA and restoration and explicitly studies how IQA can guide restoration, a setting that remains largely underexplored yet highly valuable. In this paper, we propose UARE, to our knowledge the first Unified vision-language model for image quality Assessment, Restoration, and Enhancement. Built on pretrained unified understanding and generation models, we introduce a two-stage training framework. First, a progressive, easy-to-hard schedule expands from single-type distortions to higher-order mixed degradations, enabling UARE to handle multiple degradations. Second, we perform unified fine-tuning of quality understanding and restoration with interleaved text-image data, aligning IQA signals with restoration objectives. Through multi-task co-training, UARE leverages IQA to boost restoration and enhancement performance. Extensive experiments across IQA, restoration, and enhancement tasks demonstrate the effectiveness of UARE. The code and models will be available at https://github.com/lwq20020127/UARE.

Uni-MoE-2.0-Omni: Scaling Language-Centric Omnimodal Large Model with Advanced MoE, Training and Data

We present Uni-MoE 2.0 from the Lychee family. As a fully open-source omnimodal large model (OLM), it substantially advances Lychee's Uni-MoE series in language-centric multimodal understanding, reasoning, and generating. Based on the dense LLM, we build Uni-MoE-2.0-Omni from scratch through three core contributions: dynamic-capacity Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) design, a progressive training strategy enhanced with an iterative reinforcement strategy, and a carefully curated multimodal data matching technique. It is capable of omnimodal understanding, as well as generating images, text, and speech. Architecturally, our new MoE framework balances computational efficiency and capability for 10 cross-modal inputs using shared, routed, and null experts, while our Omni-Modality 3D RoPE ensures spatio-temporal cross-modality alignment in the self-attention layer. For training, following cross-modal pretraining, we use a progressive supervised fine-tuning strategy that activates modality-specific experts and is enhanced by balanced data composition and an iterative GSPO-DPO method to stabilise RL training and improve reasoning. Data-wise, the base model, trained on approximately 75B tokens of open-source multimodal data, is equipped with special speech and image generation tokens, allowing it to learn these generative tasks by conditioning its outputs on linguistic cues. Extensive evaluation across 85 benchmarks demonstrates that our model achieves SOTA or highly competitive performance against leading OLMs, surpassing Qwen2.5-Omni (trained with 1.2T tokens) on over 50 of 76 benchmarks. Key strengths include video understanding (+7% avg. of 8), omnimodallity understanding (+7% avg. of 4), and audiovisual reasoning (+4%). It also advances long-form speech processing (reducing WER by 4.2%) and leads in low-level image processing and controllable generation across 5 metrics.

Adaptive Convolutional Neural Network for Image Super-resolution

Convolutional neural networks can automatically learn features via deep network architectures and given input samples. However, the robustness of obtained models may face challenges in varying scenes. Bigger differences in network architecture are beneficial to extract more diversified structural information to strengthen the robustness of an obtained super-resolution model. In this paper, we proposed a adaptive convolutional neural network for image super-resolution (ADSRNet). To capture more information, ADSRNet is implemented by a heterogeneous parallel network. The upper network can enhance relation of context information, salient information relation of a kernel mapping and relations of shallow and deep layers to improve performance of image super-resolution. That can strengthen adaptability of an obtained super-resolution model for different scenes. The lower network utilizes a symmetric architecture to enhance relations of different layers to mine more structural information, which is complementary with a upper network for image super-resolution. The relevant experimental results show that the proposed ADSRNet is effective to deal with image resolving. Codes are obtained at https://github.com/hellloxiaotian/ADSRNet.

UniMoE-Audio: Unified Speech and Music Generation with Dynamic-Capacity MoE

Recent advances in unified multimodal models indicate a clear trend towards comprehensive content generation. However, the auditory domain remains a significant challenge, with music and speech often developed in isolation, hindering progress towards universal audio synthesis. This separation stems from inherent task conflicts and severe data imbalances, which impede the development of a truly unified audio generation model. To address this challenge, we propose UniMoE-Audio, a unified speech and music generation model within a novel Dynamic-Capacity Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) framework. Architecturally, UniMoE-Audio introduces a Top-P routing strategy for dynamic expert number allocation, and a hybrid expert design comprising routed experts for domain-specific knowledge, shared experts for domain-agnostic features, and null experts for adaptive computation skipping. To tackle data imbalance, we introduce a three-stage training curriculum: 1) Independent Specialist Training leverages original datasets to instill domain-specific knowledge into each "proto-expert" without interference; 2) MoE Integration and Warmup incorporates these specialists into the UniMoE-Audio architecture, warming up the gate module and shared expert using a subset of balanced dataset; and 3) Synergistic Joint Training trains the entire model end-to-end on the fully balanced dataset, fostering enhanced cross-domain synergy. Extensive experiments show that UniMoE-Audio not only achieves state-of-the-art performance on major speech and music generation benchmarks, but also demonstrates superior synergistic learning, mitigating the performance degradation typically seen in naive joint training. Our findings highlight the substantial potential of specialized MoE architecture and curated training strategies in advancing the field of universal audio generation. GaussianSeal: Rooting Adaptive Watermarks for 3D Gaussian Generation Model

With the advancement of AIGC technologies, the modalities generated by models have expanded from images and videos to 3D objects, leading to an increasing number of works focused on 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) generative models. Existing research on copyright protection for generative models has primarily concentrated on watermarking in image and text modalities, with little exploration into the copyright protection of 3D object generative models. In this paper, we propose the first bit watermarking framework for 3DGS generative models, named GaussianSeal, to enable the decoding of bits as copyright identifiers from the rendered outputs of generated 3DGS. By incorporating adaptive bit modulation modules into the generative model and embedding them into the network blocks in an adaptive way, we achieve high-precision bit decoding with minimal training overhead while maintaining the fidelity of the model's outputs. Experiments demonstrate that our method outperforms post-processing watermarking approaches for 3DGS objects, achieving superior performance of watermark decoding accuracy and preserving the quality of the generated results.

AvatarShield: Visual Reinforcement Learning for Human-Centric Synthetic Video Detection

Recent advances in Artificial Intelligence Generated Content have led to highly realistic synthetic videos, particularly in human-centric scenarios involving speech, gestures, and full-body motion, posing serious threats to information authenticity and public trust. Unlike DeepFake techniques that focus on localized facial manipulation, human-centric video generation methods can synthesize entire human bodies with controllable movements, enabling complex interactions with environments, objects, and even other people. However, existing detection methods largely overlook the growing risks posed by such full-body synthetic content. Meanwhile, a growing body of research has explored leveraging LLMs for interpretable fake detection, aiming to explain decisions in natural language. Yet these approaches heavily depend on supervised fine-tuning, which introduces limitations such as annotation bias, hallucinated supervision, and weakened generalization. To address these challenges, we propose AvatarShield, a novel multimodal human-centric synthetic video detection framework that eliminates the need for dense textual supervision by adopting Group Relative Policy Optimization, enabling LLMs to develop reasoning capabilities from simple binary labels. Our architecture combines a discrete vision tower for high-level semantic inconsistencies and a residual extractor for fine-grained artifact analysis. We further introduce FakeHumanVid, a large-scale benchmark containing 15K real and synthetic videos across nine state-of-the-art human generation methods driven by text, pose, or audio. Extensive experiments demonstrate that AvatarShield outperforms existing methods in both in-domain and cross-domain settings.

TalkFashion: Intelligent Virtual Try-On Assistant Based on Multimodal Large Language Model

Virtual try-on has made significant progress in recent years. This paper addresses how to achieve multifunctional virtual try-on guided solely by text instructions, including full outfit change and local editing. Previous methods primarily relied on end-to-end networks to perform single try-on tasks, lacking versatility and flexibility. We propose TalkFashion, an intelligent try-on assistant that leverages the powerful comprehension capabilities of large language models to analyze user instructions and determine which task to execute, thereby activating different processing pipelines accordingly. Additionally, we introduce an instruction-based local repainting model that eliminates the need for users to manually provide masks. With the help of multi-modal models, this approach achieves fully automated local editings, enhancing the flexibility of editing tasks. The experimental results demonstrate better semantic consistency and visual quality compared to the current methods.
