A Measurement Study of Cryptographic Misuse in Embodied AI Mobile Applications

Embodied AI (EAI) mobile applications are evolving from auxiliary user interfaces into active control-path components, directly linking mobile-side cryptographic security to cyber-physical trust. Despite this shift, existing security research predominantly focuses on embodied AI devices and cloud infrastructures, leaving the mobile control layer largely unexplored as a critical attack surface. To bridge this gap, we present the first large-scale measurement study of cryptographic misuse within the EAI mobile ecosystem. We construct EAIAppZoo, a benchmark of 507 real-world applications across six EAI domains, and employ an automated semantic-aware analysis pipeline to measure the prevalence and characteristics of five major cryptographic failure modes. Our measurement yields 12,975 misuse findings (with an evaluated precision of 80.74\%), revealing that these cryptographic failures are driven by EAI-specific engineering constraints rather than random developer errors. We uncover structural security trade-offs: latency-sensitive control paths systematically weaken transport protection, while the heavy reliance on offline device provisioning and legacy IoT SDKs exacerbates the local hardcoding of authentication credentials. Through real-world case studies, we demonstrate how these mobile-side cryptographic flaws bypass nominal network protections, enabling adversaries to intercept command channels and hijack the physical control of EAI entities. Ultimately, our findings highlight that mobile applications have become a fragile, yet overlooked, cryptographic trust boundary in cyber-physical systems.

TiMem: Temporal-Hierarchical Memory Consolidation for Long-Horizon Conversational Agents

Long-horizon conversational agents have to manage ever-growing interaction histories that quickly exceed the finite context windows of large language models (LLMs). Existing memory frameworks provide limited support for temporally structured information across hierarchical levels, often leading to fragmented memories and unstable long-horizon personalization. We present TiMem, a temporal--hierarchical memory framework that organizes conversations through a Temporal Memory Tree (TMT), enabling systematic memory consolidation from raw conversational observations to progressively abstracted persona representations. TiMem is characterized by three core properties: (1) temporal--hierarchical organization through TMT; (2) semantic-guided consolidation that enables memory integration across hierarchical levels without fine-tuning; and (3) complexity-aware memory recall that balances precision and efficiency across queries of varying complexity. Under a consistent evaluation setup, TiMem achieves state-of-the-art accuracy on both benchmarks, reaching 75.30% on LoCoMo and 76.88% on LongMemEval-S. It outperforms all evaluated baselines while reducing the recalled memory length by 52.20% on LoCoMo. Manifold analysis indicates clear persona separation on LoCoMo and reduced dispersion on LongMemEval-S. Overall, TiMem treats temporal continuity as a first-class organizing principle for long-horizon memory in conversational agents. The code is available at https://github.com/TiMEM-AI/timem.

Top quark pair production via $e^{+}e^{-}$ collision in the littlest Higgs model with T-parity at the ILC

In the littlest Higgs model with T-parity, we studied the contributions of the new particles to the top-quark pair production via $e^{+}e^{-}$ collision at the International Linear Collider. We calculated the top-quark pair production cross section and found this process can generate significantly relative correction. The result may be a sensitive probe of the littlest Higgs model with T-parity.

The flavor-changing bottom and anti-strange quark production in the littlest Higgs model with T parity at the ILC

In the littlest Higgs model with T-parity (LHT) the mirror quarks induce the special flavor structures and some new flavor-changing (FC) couplings which could greatly enhance the production rates of the FC processes. We in this paper study some bottom and anti-strange production processes in the LHT model at the International Linear Collider (ILC), i.e., $e^+e^-\to b\bar{s}$ and $γγ\to b\bar{s}$. The results show that the production rates of these processes are sizeable for the favorable values of the parameters. Therefore, it is quite possible to test the LHT model or make some constrains on the relevant parameters of the LHT through the detection of these processes at the ILC.

Pair production of charged top-pions in the $γγ$ collisions at the ILC

The top-color assisted technicolor (TC2) mode predicts the existence of a pair of charged top-pions $π^{\pm}_t$. In this paper, we study the production of the charged top-pions pair $π^{\pm}_t$ at next generation $γγ$ colliders. The results show that the production rates can reach the level of $10^2$ fb with reasonable parameter space. With a large number of events and the clean background, the charged top-pion should be observable at the $γγ$ colliders. Therefore, our studies can help us to search for charged top-pion, and furthermore, to test the TC2 model.

The Study of the contribution of the LHT model to $Zb\bar{b}$ coupling

In the framework of the Littlest Higgs Model with T-parity (LHT), we study the contributions of the new particles to $Zb\bar{b}$ couplings at one-loop level. Based on these results, we further study the branching ratio $R_{b}$ and the unpolarized forward-backward asymmetry ${A_{FB}^{b}}$. We find that the correction of the new particles to $Zb\bar{b}$ couplings is mainly on the left-handed coupling and has small part of the parameter space to alleviate the deviation between theoretical predictions and experimental values. The precision measurement value of $R_{b}$ can give severe constraints on the relevant parameters. The constraints from the precision measurement value of ${A_{FB}^{b}}$ are very weak.

Top quark rare three-body decays in the littlest Higgs model with T-parity

In the littlest Higgs model with T-parity (LHT), the mirror quarks have flavor structures and will contribute to the top quark flavor changing neutral current. In this work, we perform an extensive investigation of the top quark rare three-body decays $t\to cVV (V=γ,Z,g)$ and $t\to cf\bar{f} (f=b,τ,μ,e)$ at one-loop level. Our results show that the branching ratios of $t\to cgg$ and $t\to cb\bar{b}$ could reach $\mathcal {O}(10^{-3})$ in the favorite parameter space of the littlest Higgs model with T-parity, which implies that these decays may be detectable at the LHC or ILC, while for the other decays, their rates are too small to be observable at the present or future colliders.

The flavor-changing top-charm associated productions at ILC in littlest Higgs model with T parity

The littlest Higgs model with T-parity (LHT) has new flavor-changing (FC) couplings with the Standard Model (SM) quarks, which do not suffer strong constraints from electroweak precision data. So these FC interactions may enhance the cross sections of some flavor-changing neutral-current (FCNC) processes. In this work, we study the FC top-charm associated productions via $e^{-}γ$ collision at the ILC. We find that the cross sections are sensitive to the mirror quark masses. With reasonable values of the parameters, the cross sections may reach the detectable level and provide useful information about the relevant parameters in the LHT model, especially setting an upper limit on the mirror quark masses.

Testing the Littlest Higgs Model with T-parity in Bottom Quark Pair Production at High Energy Photon Colliders

We have calculated the cross section of the process e^+e^- \to γγ\to b\bar{b} in the littlest Higgs model with T parity (LHT). We find that, for the favorable parameters, the total cross section σ(e^+e^- \to γγ\to b\bar{b}) is sensitive to the breaking scale f, mixing parameter x_L, the masses of the mirror quarks m_{Hi}, and the relative correction of the LHT model is a few percent to dozens of percent. The cross section is significantly larger than the corresponding results in the standard model and in the other typical new physics models. Therefore the prediction in the LHT model is quite different from the predictions in other new physics models and such a process is really interesting in searching for the signs of the LHT model.

Probing the topcolor-assisted technicolor model via the single t-quark production at Hadron colliders

In this paper, we systematically study the contribution of the TC2 model to the single t-quark production at the Hadron colliders, specially at the LHC. The TC2 model can contribute to the cross section of the single t-quark production in two different ways. First, the existence of the top-pions and top-higgs can modify the $Wtb$ coupling via their loop contributions, and such modification can cause the correction to the cross sections of all three production modes. Our study shows that this kind of correction is negative and very small in all cases. Thus it is difficult to observe such correction even at the LHC. On the other hand, there exist the tree-level FC couplings in the TC2 model which can also contribute to the cross sections of the $tq$ and $t\bar{b}$ production processes. The resonant effect can greatly enhance the cross sections of the $tq$ and $t\bar{b}$ productions. The first evidence of the single t-quark production has been reported by the $D0$ collaboration and the measured cross section for the single t-quark production of $σ(p\bar{p}\to tb+X,tqb+X)$ is compatible at the 10% level with the standard model prediction. Because the light top-pion can make great contribution to the $t\bar{b}$ production, the top-pion mass should be very large in order to make the predicted cross section in the TC2 model be consistent with the Tevatron experiments. More detailed information about the top-pion mass and the FC couplings in the TC2 model should be obtained with the running of the LHC.

The flavor-changing single-top quark production in the littlest Higgs model with T parity at the LHC

The littlest Higgs model with discrete symmetry named "T-parity"(LHT) is an interesting new physics model which does not suffer strong constraints from electroweak precision data. One of the important features of the LHT model is the existence of new source of FC interactions between the SM fermions and the mirror fermions. These FC interactions can make significant loop-level contributions to the couplings $tcV$, and furthermore enhance the cross sections of the FC single-top quark production processes. In this paper, we study some FC single-top quark production processes, $pp\to t\bar{c}$ and $pp\to tV$, at the LHC in the LHT model. We find that the cross sections of these processes are strongly depended on the mirror quark masses. The processes $pp\to t\bar{c}$ and $pp\to tg$ have large cross sections with heavy mirror quarks. The observation of these FC processes at the LHC is certainly the clue of new physics, and further precise measurements of the cross scetions can provide useful information about the free parameters in the LHT model, specially about the mirror quark masses.

The flavor-changing top-charm quark production in the littlest Higgs model with T parity at the ILC

With high luminosity and energy at the ILC and clean SM backgrounds, the top-charm production at the ILC should have powerful potential to probe new physics. The littlest Higgs model with discrete symmetry named "T-parity"(LHT) is one of the most promising new physics models. In this paper, we study the FC processes $e^+e^-(γγ)\to t\bar{c}$ at the ILC in the LHT model. Our study shows that the LHT model can make a significant contribution to these processes. When the masses of mirror quarks become large, these two processes are accessible at the ILC. So the top-charm production at the ILC provides a unique way to study the properties of the FC couplings in the LHT model and furthermore test the model.

Probing the lightest new gauge boson $B_H$ in the littlest Higgs model via the processes $γγ\to f\bar{f}B_H$ at the ILC

The neutral gauge boson $B_H$ with the mass of hundreds GeV, is the lightest particle predicted by the littlest Higgs(LH) model, and such particle should be the first signal of the LH model at the planed ILC if it exists indeed. In this paper, we study some processes of the $B_H$ production associated with the fermion pair at the ILC, i.e., $γγ\to f\bar{f}B_{H}$. The studies show that the most promising processes to detect $B_H$ among $γγ\to f\bar{f}B_{H}$ are $γγ\to l'^+l'^-B_{H}(l'=e,μ)$, and they can produce the sufficient signals in most parameter space preferred by the electroweak precision data at the ILC. On the other hand, the signal produced via the certain $B_H$ decay modes is typical and such signal can be easily identified from the SM background. Therefore, $B_H$, the lightest gauge boson in the LH model would be detectable at the photon collider realized at the ILC.

The associated productions of the new gauge boson $B_{H}$ in the littlest Higgs model with a SM gauge boson via $e^+e^-$ collision

With the high energy and luminosity, the planned ILC has the considerable capability to probe the new heavy particles predicted by the new physics models. In this paper, we study the potential to discover the lightest new gauge boson $B_{H}$ of the littlest Higgs model via the processes $e^+e^- \to γ(Z)B_H$ at the ILC. The results show that the production rates of these two processes are large enough to detect $B_H$ in a wide range of the parameter space, specially for the process $e^+e^- \to γB_H$. Furthermore, there exist some decay modes for $B_H$ which can provide the typical signal and clean background. Therefore, the new gauge boson $B_H$ should be observable via these production processes with the running of the ILC if it exists indeed.

The production of the new gauge boson $B_{H}$ via $e^{-}γ$ collision in the littlest Higgs model

The new lightest gauge boson $B_H$ with mass of a few hundred GeV is predicted in the littlest Higgs model. $B_H$ should be accessible in the planed ILC and the observation of such particle can strongly support the littlest Higgs model. The realization of $γγ$ and $eγ$ collision will open a wider window to probe $B_H$. In this paper, we study the new gauge boson $B_{H}$ production processes $e^{-}γ\to e^{-}γB_{H}$ and $e^{-}γ\to e^{-}Z B_{H}$ at the ILC. Our results show that the production cross section of the process $e^{-}γ\to e^{-}Z B_{H}$ is less than one fb in the most parameter spaces while the production cross section of the process $e^{-}γ\to e^{-}γB_{H}$ can reach the level of tens fb and even hundreds of fb in the sizable parameter spaces allowed by the electroweak precision data. With the high luminosity, the sufficient typical signals could be produced, specially via $e^{-}γ\to e^{-}γB_{H}$. Because the final electron and photon beams can be easily identified and the signal can be easily distinguished from the background produced by $Z$ and $H$ decaying, $B_H$ should be detectable via $eγ$ collision at the ILC. Therefore, the processes $e^{-}γ\to e^{-}γB_{H}$ and $e^{-}γ\to e^{-}Z B_{H}$ provide a useful way to detect $B_{H}$ and test the littlest Higgs model.

The productions of the top-pions and top-Higgs associated with the charm quark at the hadron colliders

In the topcolor-assistant technicolor (TC2) model, the typical physical particles, top-pions and top-Higgs, are predicted and the existence of these particles could be regarded as the robust evidence of the model. These particles are accessible at the Tevatron and LHC, and furthermore the flavor-changing(FC) feature of the TC2 model can provide us a unique chance to probe them. In this paper, we study some interesting FC production processes of top-pions and top-Higgs at the Tevatron and LHC, i.e., $cΠ_{t}^{-}$ and $cΠ_{t}^{0}(h_{t}^{0})$ productions. We find that the light charged top-pions are not favorable by the Tevatron experiments and the Tevatron has a little capability to probe neutral top-pion and top-Higgs via these FC production processes. At the LHC, however, the cross section can reach the level of $10\sim 100$ pb for $cΠ_t^-$ production and $ 10\sim 100$ fb for $cΠ_t^0(h_t^0)$ production. So one can expect that enough signals could be produced at the LHC experiments. Furthermore, the SM background should be clean due to the FC feature of the processes and the FC decay modes $Π_t^-\to b\bar{c}, Π_t^0(h_t^0)\to t\bar{c}$ can provide us the typical signal to detect the top-pions and top-Higgs. Therefore, it is hopeful to find the signal of top-pions and top-Higgs with the running of the LHC via these FC processes.

The single t-quark productions via the flavor-changing processes in the topcolor-assisted technicolor model at the hadron colliders

In the framework of topcolor-assisted technicolor(TC2) model, there exist tree-level flavor-changing (FC) couplings which can result in the loop-level FC coupling $tcg$. Such $tcg$ coupling can contribute significant clues at the forthcoming Large Hadron Collider (LHC) experiments. In this paper, based on the TC2 model, we study some single t-quark production processes involving $tcg$ coupling at the Tevatron and LHC: $pp(p\bar{p})\to t\bar{q}(q=u,d,s),tg$. We calculate the cross sections of these processes. The results show that the cross sections at the Tevatron are too small to observe the signal, but at the LHC it can reach a few pb. With the high luminosity, the LHC has considerable capability to find the single t-quark signal produced via some FC processes involving coupling $tcg$. On the other hand, these processes can also provide some valuable information of the coupling $tcg$ with detailed study of the processes and furthermore provide the reliable evidence to test the TC2 model.

Effects of R-parity violating supersymmetry in top pair production at linear colliders with polarized beams

In the minimal supersymmetric standard model with R-parity violation, the lepton number violating top quark interactions can contribute to the top pair production at a linear collider via tree-level u-channel squark exchange diagrams. We calculate such contributions and find that in the allowed range of these R-violating couplings, the top pair production rate as well as the top quark polarization and the forward-backward asymmetry can be significantly altered. By comparing the unpolarized beams with the polarized beams, we find that the polarized beams are more powerful in probing such new physics.
