Multipartite concurrence of W-class states based on sub-partite quantum systems

We study the concurrence for arbitrary N-partite W-class states based on the (N-1)-partite partitions of subsystems by taking account to the structures of W-class states. By using the method of permutation and combination we give analytical formula of concurrence and some elegant relations between the multipartite concurrence and the (N-1)-partite concurrence for arbitrary multipartite W-class states. Applying these relations we present better lower bounds of concurrence for multipartite mixed states. An example is given to demonstrate that our lower bounds can detect more entanglements.

Tighter monogamy relations for the Tsallis-q and R\'{e}nyi-$\alpha$ entanglement in multiqubit systems

Monogamy relations characterize the distributions of quantum entanglement in multipartite systems. In this work, we present some tighter monogamy relations in terms of the power of the Tsallis-q and R\'{e}nyi-$\alpha$ entanglement in multipartite systems. We show that these new monogamy relations of multipartite entanglement with tighter lower bounds than the existing ones. Furthermore, three examples are given to illustrate the tightness.

Tighter Monogamy Relations in Multi-Qubit Systems

In this paper, we present some monogamy relations of multiqubit quantum entanglement in terms of the \beta th power of concurrence, entanglement of formation and convex-roof extended negativity. These monogamy relations are proved to be tighter than the existing ones, together with detailed examples showing the tightness.

Adsorption and ultrafast diffusion of lithium in bilayer graphene ab initio and kinetic Monte Carlo simulation study

In this work, we adopt first-principle calculations based on density functional theory and Kinetic Monte Carlo simulations to investigate the adsorption and diffusion of lithium in bilayer graphene (BLG) as anodes in lithium-ion batteries. Based on energy barriers directly obtained from first-principle calculations for single-Li and two-Li intercalated BLG, a new equation was deduced for predicting energy barriers considering Li's interactions for multi-Li intercalated BLG. Our calculated results indicate that Li energetically prefers to intercalate within rather than adsorb outside the bilayer graphene. Additionally, lithium exists in cationic state in the bilayer graphene. More excitingly, ultrafast Li diffusion coefficient, within AB-stacked BLG near room temperature was obtained, which reproduces the ultrafast Li diffusion coefficient measured in recent experiment. However, ultrafast Li diffusion was not found within AA-stacked BLG near room temperature. The analyses of potential distribution indicate that the stacking structure of BLG greatly affects its height of potential well within BLG, which directly leads to the large difference in Li diffusion. Furthermore, it is found that both the interaction among Li ions and the stacking, structure cause Li diffusion within AB-stacked BLG to exhibit directional preference. Finally, the temperature dependence of Li diffusion is described by the Arrhenius law. These findings suggest that the stacking structure of BLG has an important influence on Li diffusion within BLG, and changing the stacking structure of BLG is one possible way to greatly improve Li diffusion rate within BLG. At last, it is suggested that AB-stacked BLG can be an excellent candidate for anode material in Lithium-ion batteries.

Generalized monogamy inequalities of convex-roof extended negativity in $N$-qubit systems

In this paper, we present some generalized monogamy inequalities based on negativity and convex-roof extended negativity (CREN). These monogamy relations are satisfied by the negativity of $N$-qubit quantum systems $ABC_1\cdots C_{N-2}$, under the partitions $AB|C_1\cdots C_{N-2}$ and $ABC_1|C_2\cdots C_{N-2}$. Furthermore, the $W$-class states are used to test these generalized monogamy inequalities.

Violation of Bell inequalities for multipartite systems

In recent papers, the theory of representations of finite groups has been proposed to analyzing the violation of Bell inequalities. In this paper, we apply this method to more complicated cases. For two partite system, Alice and Bob each make one of $d$ possible measurements, each measurement has $n$ outcomes. The Bell inequalities based on the choice of two orbits are derived. The classical bound is only dependent on the number of measurements $d$, but the quantum bound is dependent both on $n$ and $d$. Even so, when $d$ is large enough, the quantum bound is only dependent on $d$. The subset of probabilities for four parties based on the choice of six orbits under group action is derived and its violation is described. Restricting the six orbits to three parties by forgetting the last party, and guaranteeing the classical bound invariant, the Bell inequality based on the choice of four orbits is derived. Moreover, all the corresponding nonlocal games are analyzed.

Schur-Weyl duality for $U_{v,t}(sl_{n})$

In \cite{fl}, the authors get a new presentation of two-parameter quantum algebra $U_{v,t}(\mathfrak{g})$. Their presentation can cover all Kac-Moody cases. In this paper, we construct a suitable Hopf pairing such that $U_{v,t}(sl_{n})$ can be realized as Drinfeld double of certain Hopf subalgebras with respect to the Hopf pairing. Using Hopf pairing, we construct a $R$-matrix for $U_{v,t}(sl_{n})$ which will be used to give the Schur-Weyl dual between $U_{v,t}(sl_{n})$ and Hecke algebra $H_{k}(v,t)$. Furthermore, using the Fusion procedure we construct the primitive orthogonal idempotents of $H_{k}(v,t)$. As a corollary, we give the explicit construction of irreducible $U_{v,t}(sl_{n})$-representations of $V^{\otimes k}$.

Quantum Cluster Superalgebras

In this paper, we introduce and study the quantum deformations of the cluster superalgebra. Then we prove the quantum version of the Laurent phenomenon for the super-case.
