Movable-Antenna Assisted Energy Minimization in UAV-Enabled Mobile Edge Computing Systems

Driven by the exponential growth of latency-sensitive applications, mobile edge computing (MEC) has emerged as a pivotal paradigm, yet mitigating its substantial energy consumption remains critical. This paper explores a movable-antenna (MA) assisted energy minimization scheme in an uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV)-enabled MEC system, where a UAV equipped with an MA array serves as an edge server to process tasks offloaded from terrestrial consumer electronics (CE) devices. To minimize the total system energy consumption, we jointly optimize computation resource allocation, CE transmit power, receive beamforming, and MA positions. To tackle the resulting non-convex problem with coupled variables, a robust alternating optimization algorithm based on the block coordinate descent method is developed. The problem is iteratively decomposed into three subproblems. In particular, the subproblem of transmit power and receive beamforming is reformulated and optimized using the quadratic transform technique, while the MA array positions are optimized via the particle swarm optimization algorithm. Numerical simulations verify that the proposed scheme achieves substantial energy savings over conventional benchmarks.

DeMix: Debugging Training Data with Mixed Data Error Types by Investigating Influence Vectors

High-quality training data is essential for the success of machine learning models. However, real-world datasets often contain mixed types of errors arising from systematic flaws in data preparation pipelines, including label errors, feature errors, and spurious correlations. Effective debugging of training data requires both detecting erroneous samples and identifying their specific error types to enable targeted repair, yet existing data cleaning and attribution methods fail to adequately address this dual requirement. In this paper, we propose DeMix, a novel framework that simultaneously diagnoses erroneous samples and their error types. Our key insight is that different error types produce distinct patterns on model behavior. DeMix captures such error-specific patterns by influence vectors that characterize how each training sample affects model predictions across all validation samples. We formulate training data debugging as a multi-label classification problem where a classifier is developed to predict error types directly from influence vectors. We further introduce an intervention-based learning strategy that guides the classifier to capture invariant rationales specific to each error type, ensuring the learned classifier generalizes effectively. Empirical evaluations on 11 tasks across tabular data prediction, recommendation systems, and LLM alignment demonstrate that DeMix significantly outperforms state-of-the-art approaches, achieving a 22.61% improvement in data debugging F1-score and a 9.32% gain in task model performance after data repair. UAV-Enabled Fluid Antenna Systems for Multi-Target Wireless Sensing over LAWCNs

Fluid antenna system (FAS) is emerging as a key technology for enhancing spatial flexibility and sensing accuracy in future wireless systems. This paper investigates an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-enabled FAS for multi-target wireless sensing in low-altitude wireless consumer networks (LAWCNs) for achieving the low-altitude economy (LAE) missions. We formulate an optimization problem aimed at minimizing the average Cramér-Rao bound (CRB) for multiple target estimations. To tackle this non-convex problem, an efficient alternating optimization (AO) algorithm is proposed, which jointly optimizes the UAV trajectory, the antenna position of the transmit fluid antennas (FAs) and the receive FAs, and the transmit beamforming at the UAV. Simulation results demonstrate significant performance improvements in estimation accuracy and sensing reliability compared to conventional schemes, e.g., the fixed position antenna scheme. The proposed system achieves enhanced sensing performance through adaptive trajectory design and beamforming, alongside effective interference suppression via the flexible FAS antenna repositioning, underscoring its practical potential for precision sensing in the UAV-enabled LAWCNs.

6DMA-Enabled ISAC for Low-Altitude Economy

In this paper, we investigate a six dimensional movable antenna (6DMA) enable integrated sensing and communications (ISAC) network in low-altitude economy. The studied 6DMA can move in a three-dimensional space and rotate around its surface center, making full use of spatial freedom to adapt to the different location distributions of uncrewed aerial vehicles (UAVs) adjust channel conditions in time. However, since the rotation and location change of 6DMA requires the assistance of a physical device, it is unreasonable for 6DMA to change locations too frequently. Therefore, we propose a hierarchical deep reinforcement learning algorithm based on twin delayed deep deterministic policy gradient. The first layer optimizes the rotation and location of 6DMA with infrequent updates, and the second layer optimizes the UAV flight direction and base station transmit beamforming matrix in each time slot. Under the condition of satisfying the sensing intensity of the sensing target, the total data transmission rate to the UAVs is maximized. The numerical results show that the proposed 6DMA-enable ISAC algorithm through joint optimization of multiple variables performs significantly better than the partially movable scheme and the fixed antenna position scheme.

Hierarchical Learning for IRS-Assisted MEC Systems with Rate-Splitting Multiple Access

Intelligent reflecting surface (IRS)-assisted mobile edge computing (MEC) systems have shown notable improvements in efficiency, such as reduced latency, higher data rates, and better energy efficiency. However, the resource competition among users will lead to uneven allocation, increased latency, and lower throughput. Fortunately, the rate-splitting multiple access (RSMA) technique has emerged as a promising solution for managing interference and optimizing resource allocation in MEC systems. This paper studies an IRS-assisted MEC system with RSMA, aiming to jointly optimize the passive beamforming of the IRS, the active beamforming of the base station, the task offloading allocation, the transmit power of users, the ratios of public and private information allocation, and the decoding order of the RSMA to minimize the average delay from a novel uplink transmission perspective. Since the formulated problem is non-convex and the optimization variables are highly coupled, we propose a hierarchical deep reinforcement learning-based algorithm to optimize both continuous and discrete variables of the problem. Additionally, to better extract channel features, we design a novel network architecture within the policy and evaluation networks of the proposed algorithm, combining convolutional neural networks and densely connected convolutional network for feature extraction. Simulation results indicate that the proposed algorithm not only exhibits excellent convergence performance but also outperforms various benchmarks.

Movable-Antenna Enabled Robust Vehicular Consumer Networks Under Imperfect CSI

The accelerating advancement of intelligent transportation systems has established consumer-oriented vehicular networks (CVNs) as a critical infrastructure for next-generation connected mobility. However, the high mobility of vehicular users (VUs) introduces significant channel state information (CSI) uncertainty, which severely undermines the performance of conventional fixed-position antenna systems. To address this, this paper explores the deployment of movable-antennas (MAs) to enhance communication robustness in CVNs under imperfect CSI conditions. We develop a joint optimization framework that dynamically coordinates the spatial positioning of MAs and transmit beamforming at the base station, with the objective of maximizing the worst-case sum rate across all VUs. The problem is formulated as a non-convex max-min optimization problem, subject to bounded CSI estimation errors, transmit power limits, and physical constraints on antenna displacement. By adopting an alternating optimization strategy, the original problem is decomposed into tractable subproblems, solved via techniques including the S-Procedure, Schur complement, and successive convex approximation. Numerical evaluations confirm that the proposed approach achieves substantial gains over existing benchmarks in terms of worst-case throughput.

Relative Contrastive Learning for Sequential Recommendation with Similarity-based Positive Pair Selection

Contrastive Learning (CL) enhances the training of sequential recommendation (SR) models through informative self-supervision signals. Existing methods often rely on data augmentation strategies to create positive samples and promote representation invariance. Some strategies such as item reordering and item substitution may inadvertently alter user intent. Supervised Contrastive Learning (SCL) based methods find an alternative to augmentation-based CL methods by selecting same-target sequences (interaction sequences with the same target item) to form positive samples. However, SCL-based methods suffer from the scarcity of same-target sequences and consequently lack enough signals for contrastive learning. In this work, we propose to use similar sequences (with different target items) as additional positive samples and introduce a Relative Contrastive Learning (RCL) framework for sequential recommendation. RCL comprises a dual-tiered positive sample selection module and a relative contrastive learning module. The former module selects same-target sequences as strong positive samples and selects similar sequences as weak positive samples. The latter module employs a weighted relative contrastive loss, ensuring that each sequence is represented closer to its strong positive samples than its weak positive samples. We apply RCL on two mainstream deep learning-based SR models, and our empirical results reveal that RCL can achieve 4.88% improvement averagely than the state-of-the-art SR methods on five public datasets and one private dataset.

Architecture-Agnostic Feature Synergy for Universal Defense Against Heterogeneous Generative Threats

Generative AI deployment poses unprecedented challenges to content safety and privacy. However, existing defense mechanisms are often tailored to specific architectures (e.g., Diffusion Models or GANs), creating fragile "defense silos" that fail against heterogeneous generative threats. This paper identifies a fundamental optimization barrier in naive pixel-space ensemble strategies: due to divergent objective functions, pixel-level gradients from heterogeneous generators become statistically orthogonal, causing destructive interference. To overcome this, we observe that despite disparate low-level mechanisms, high-level feature representations of generated content exhibit alignment across architectures. Based on this, we propose the Architecture-Agnostic Targeted Feature Synergy (ATFS) framework. By introducing a target guidance image, ATFS reformulates multi-model defense as a unified feature space alignment task, enabling intrinsic gradient alignment without complex rectification. Extensive experiments show ATFS achieves SOTA protection in heterogeneous scenarios (e.g., Diffusion+GAN). It converges rapidly, reaching over 90% performance within 40 iterations, and maintains strong attack potency even under tight perturbation budgets. The framework seamlessly extends to unseen architectures (e.g., VQ-VAE) by switching the feature extractor, and demonstrates robust resistance to JPEG compression and scaling. Being computationally efficient and lightweight, ATFS offers a viable pathway to dismantle defense silos and enable universal generative security. Code and models are open-sourced for reproducibility.

Momentum-integrated Multi-task Stock Recommendation with Converge-based Optimization

Stock recommendation is critical in Fintech applications, which leverage price series and alternative information to estimate future stock performance. Traditional time-series forecasting training often fails to capture stock trends and rankings simultaneously, which are essential factors for investors. To tackle this issue, we introduce a Multi-Task Learning (MTL) framework for stock recommendation, \textbf{M}omentum-\textbf{i}ntegrated \textbf{M}ulti-task \textbf{Stoc}k \textbf{R}ecommendation with Converge-based Optimization (\textbf{MiM-StocR}). To improve the model's ability to capture short-term trends, we incorporate a momentum line indicator in model training. To prioritize top-performing stocks and optimize investment allocation, we propose a listwise ranking loss function called Adaptive-k ApproxNDCG. Moreover, due to the volatility and uncertainty of the stock market, existing MTL frameworks face overfitting issues when applied to stock time series. To mitigate this issue, we introduce the Converge-based Quad-Balancing (CQB) method. We conducted extensive experiments on three stock benchmarks: SEE50, CSI 100, and CSI 300. MiM-StocR outperforms state-of-the-art MTL baselines across both ranking and profitability evaluations.

Less is More: Unlocking Specialization of Time Series Foundation Models via Structured Pruning

Scaling laws motivate the development of Time Series Foundation Models (TSFMs) that pre-train vast parameters and achieve remarkable zero-shot forecasting performance. Surprisingly, even after fine-tuning, TSFMs cannot consistently outperform smaller, specialized models trained on full-shot downstream data. A key question is how to realize effective adaptation of TSFMs for a target forecasting task. Through empirical studies on various TSFMs, the pre-trained models often exhibit inherent sparsity and redundancy in computation, suggesting that TSFMs have learned to activate task-relevant network substructures to accommodate diverse forecasting tasks. To preserve this valuable prior knowledge, we propose a structured pruning method to regularize the subsequent fine-tuning process by focusing it on a more relevant and compact parameter space. Extensive experiments on seven TSFMs and six benchmarks demonstrate that fine-tuning a smaller, pruned TSFM significantly improves forecasting performance compared to fine-tuning original models. This prune-then-finetune paradigm often enables TSFMs to achieve state-of-the-art performance and surpass strong specialized baselines. Proactive Model Adaptation Against Concept Drift for Online Time Series Forecasting

Time series forecasting always faces the challenge of concept drift, where data distributions evolve over time, leading to a decline in forecast model performance. Existing solutions are based on online learning, which continually organize recent time series observations as new training samples and update model parameters according to the forecasting feedback on recent data. However, they overlook a critical issue: obtaining ground-truth future values of each sample should be delayed until after the forecast horizon. This delay creates a temporal gap between the training samples and the test sample. Our empirical analysis reveals that the gap can introduce concept drift, causing forecast models to adapt to outdated concepts. In this paper, we present Proceed, a novel proactive model adaptation framework for online time series forecasting. Proceed first estimates the concept drift between the recently used training samples and the current test sample. It then employs an adaptation generator to efficiently translate the estimated drift into parameter adjustments, proactively adapting the model to the test sample. To enhance the generalization capability of the framework, Proceed is trained on synthetic diverse concept drifts. Extensive experiments on five real-world datasets across various forecast models demonstrate that Proceed brings more performance improvements than the state-of-the-art online learning methods, significantly facilitating forecast models' resilience against concept drifts. RelServe: Fast LLM Inference Serving on Relational Data

The use of Large Language Models (LLMs) for querying relational data has given rise to relQuery, a workload pattern that applies templated LLM calls to structured tables. As relQuery services become more widely adopted in applications such as AI-powered spreadsheets, fast response times under concurrent query loads are increasingly important. Unfortunately, current LLM engines face severe latency bottlenecks from Head-of-Line (HoL) blocking across three comparable inference phases: waiting, core running, and tail running. Existing static priority scheduling methods only address HoL blocking during the waiting phase, leaving two critical problems unsolved. First, the absence of a priority update mechanism causes inaccurate prioritization and continued HoL blocking during core execution. Second, suboptimal prefill-decode batching exacerbates HoL blocking in tail execution and worsens latency trade-offs between running and waiting relQueries. To address these problems, we propose RelServe, an optimized LLM engine for low-latency relQuery serving. RelServe features two core innovations: a Dynamic Priority Updater that continuously adjusts priorities while minimizing overhead via statistical approximations, and an Adaptive Batch Arranger that quantitatively evaluates candidate prefill and decode batches to minimize projected average latency. Extensive experiments on four real-world datasets using LLMs ranging from 13B to 70B parameters show that RelServe reduces average serving latency by up to 3.1x compared to vLLM.

Energy-Efficient Multi-UAV-Enabled MEC Systems over Space-Air-Ground Integrated Networks

With the development of artificial intelligence integrated next-generation communication networks, mobile users (MUs) are increasingly demanding the efficient processing of computation-intensive and latency-sensitive tasks. However, existing mobile computing networks struggle to support the rapidly growing computational needs of the MUs. Fortunately, space-air-ground integrated network (SAGIN) supported mobile edge computing (MEC) is regarded as an effective solution, offering the MUs multi-tier and efficient computing services. In this paper, we consider an SAGIN supported MEC system, where a low Earth orbit satellite and multiple unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are dispatched to provide computing services for MUs. An energy efficiency maximization problem is formulated, with the joint optimization of the MU-UAV association, the UAV trajectory, the task offloading decision, the computing frequency, and the transmission power control. Since the problem is non-convex, we decompose it into four subproblems, and propose an alternating optimization based algorithm to solve it. Simulation results confirm that the proposed algorithm outperforms the benchmarks.

Influence Guided Context Selection for Effective Retrieval-Augmented Generation

Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) addresses large language model (LLM) hallucinations by grounding responses in external knowledge, but its effectiveness is compromised by poor-quality retrieved contexts containing irrelevant or noisy information. While existing approaches attempt to improve performance through context selection based on predefined context quality assessment metrics, they show limited gains over standard RAG. We attribute this limitation to their failure in holistically utilizing available information (query, context list, and generator) for comprehensive quality assessment. Inspired by recent advances in data selection, we reconceptualize context quality assessment as an inference-time data valuation problem and introduce the Contextual Influence Value (CI value). This novel metric quantifies context quality by measuring the performance degradation when removing each context from the list, effectively integrating query-aware relevance, list-aware uniqueness, and generator-aware alignment. Moreover, CI value eliminates complex selection hyperparameter tuning by simply retaining contexts with positive CI values. To address practical challenges of label dependency and computational overhead, we develop a parameterized surrogate model for CI value prediction during inference. The model employs a hierarchical architecture that captures both local query-context relevance and global inter-context interactions, trained through oracle CI value supervision and end-to-end generator feedback. Extensive experiments across 8 NLP tasks and multiple LLMs demonstrate that our context selection method significantly outperforms state-of-the-art baselines, effectively filtering poor-quality contexts while preserving critical information. RSMA-Enhanced Data Collection in RIS-Assisted Intelligent Consumer Transportation Systems

This paper investigates the data collection enhancement problem in a reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS)-empowered intelligent consumer transportation system (ICTS). We propose a novel framework where a data center (DC) provides energy to pre-configured roadside unit (RSU) pairs during the downlink stage. While in the uplink stage, these RSU pairs utilize a hybrid rate-splitting multiple access (RSMA) and time-division multiple access (TDMA) protocol to transmit the processed data to the DC, while simultaneously performing local data processing using the harvested energy. Our objective is to maximize the minimal processed data volume of the RSU pairs by jointly optimizing the RIS downlink and uplink phase shifts, the transmit power of the DC and RSUs, the RSU computation resource allocation, and the time slot allocation. To address the formulated non-convex problem, we develop an efficient iterative algorithm integrating alternating optimization and sequential rank-one constraint relaxation methods. Extensive simulations demonstrate that the proposed algorithm significantly outperforms baseline schemes under diverse scenarios, validating its effectiveness in enhancing the data processing performance for intelligent transportation applications.

Joint Beamforming Design for RIS-Empowered NOMA-ISAC Systems

This paper investigates a reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS)-assisted integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) system and proposes a joint communication and sensing beamforming design based on non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) technology. The system employs a dual-functional base station (DFBS) to simultaneously serve multiple users and sense multiple targets with the aid of RIS. To maximize the sum-rate of users, we jointly optimize the DFBS's active beamforming, the RIS's reflection coefficients, and the radar receive filters. The optimization is performed under constraints including the radar signal-to-noise ratio thresholds, the user signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio requirements, the phase shifts of the RIS, the total transmit power, the receive filters, and the successive interference cancellation decoding order. To tackle the complex interdependencies and non-convex nature of the optimization problem, we introduce an effective iterative algorithm based on the alternating optimization framework. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm outperforms baseline algorithms, highlighting its distinct advantages in the considered RIS-empowered NOMA-ISAC systems.

PTSM: Physiology-aware and Task-invariant Spatio-temporal Modeling for Cross-Subject EEG Decoding

Cross-subject electroencephalography (EEG) decoding remains a fundamental challenge in brain-computer interface (BCI) research due to substantial inter-subject variability and the scarcity of subject-invariant representations. This paper proposed PTSM (Physiology-aware and Task-invariant Spatio-temporal Modeling), a novel framework for interpretable and robust EEG decoding across unseen subjects. PTSM employs a dual-branch masking mechanism that independently learns personalized and shared spatio-temporal patterns, enabling the model to preserve individual-specific neural characteristics while extracting task-relevant, population-shared features. The masks are factorized across temporal and spatial dimensions, allowing fine-grained modulation of dynamic EEG patterns with low computational overhead. To further address representational entanglement, PTSM enforces information-theoretic constraints that decompose latent embeddings into orthogonal task-related and subject-related subspaces. The model is trained end-to-end via a multi-objective loss integrating classification, contrastive, and disentanglement objectives. Extensive experiments on cross-subject motor imagery datasets demonstrate that PTSM achieves strong zero-shot generalization, outperforming state-of-the-art baselines without subject-specific calibration. Results highlight the efficacy of disentangled neural representations for achieving both personalized and transferable decoding in non-stationary neurophysiological settings.

QoS-Aware Integrated Sensing, Communication, and Control with Movable Antenna

Integrated sensing, communication, and control (ISCC) has emerged as a key enabler for low-altitude wireless networks with enhanced adaptability through resource allocation co-design and intelligent environment awareness. However, dynamic interference and channel attenuation constrain the potential of the ISCC system. To address this challenge, we propose a novel movable antenna-empowered ISCC system. An achievable data rate maximization problem is formulated while guaranteeing the sensing and control quality-of-service (QoS) by optimizing the positions of the antennas and the beamforming strategy for communication, sensing, and control co-design. An efficient alternating optimization (AO)-based algorithm is proposed to solve the highly coupled non-convex problem. Numerical results demonstrate that the proposed AO-based algorithm achieves substantial gains in the achievable data rate and the control QoS compared with benchmark schemes.
