We computed the first Whittaker coefficient of an Eisenstein series on a global metaplectic group induced from the torus and related the result with a Weyl group multiple Dirichlet series attached to the (dual) root system of the group under a mild assumption on the root system and the degree of the metaplectic cover. This confirms a conjecture of Brubaker-Bump-Friedberg.
We construct Weil representations of twisted loop groups of type $A_n^{(2)}$ over local fields. We prove that the associated cover of the twisted loop group is the two fold metaplectic cover of the affine Kac-Moody group of type $A_n^{(2)}$ given by Patnaik-Puskas.
In this article we prove the theta liftings of a cusp form on the loop group $\mathrm{GL}_n$ induced from a classical cusp form for the loop group ``dual pair'' $(\mathrm{GL}_n,\mathrm{GL}_n)$ is an Eisenstein series.
The Kac-Moody correction factor, first studied by Macdonald in the affine case, corrects the failure of an identity found by Macdonald in finite-dimensional root systems in 1972. Subsequntly this factor appeared in several formulas in the affine or Kac-Moody analogue of $p$-adic spherical theory for reductive groups. In this article we view the inverse of this correction factor as a function, prove the convergency and holomorphy of this function on a certain domain.
