On the second reference state and complete eigenstates of the open XXZ chain

The second reference state of the open XXZ spin chain with non-diagonal boundary terms is studied. The associated Bethe states exactly yield the second set of eigenvalues proposed recently by functional Bethe Ansatz. In the quasi-classical limit, two sets of Bethe states give the complete eigenstates of the associated Gaudin model.

Exact classical solutions of nonlinear sigma models on supermanifolds

We study two-dimensional nonlinear sigma models with target spaces being the complex super Grassmannian manifolds, that is, coset supermanifolds $G(m,p|n,q)\cong U(m|n)/[U(p|q)\otimes U(m-p|n-q)]$ for $0\leq p \leq m$, $0\leq q \leq n$ and $1\leq p+q$. The projective superspace ${\bf CP}^{m-1|n}$ is a special case of $p=1$, $q=0$. For the two-dimensional Euclidean base space, a wide class of exact classical solutions (or harmonic maps) are constructed explicitly and elementarily in terms of Gramm-Schmidt orthonormalisation procedure starting from holomorphic bosonic and fermionic supervector input functions. The construction is a generalisation of the non-super case published more than twenty years ago by one of the present authors.

Supersymmetric Vertex Models with Domain Wall Boundary Conditions

By means of the Drinfeld twists, we derive the determinant representations of the partition functions for the $gl(1|1)$ and $gl(2|1)$ supersymmetric vertex models with domain wall boundary conditions. In the homogenous limit, these determinants degenerate to simple functions.

Structures and Representations of Generalized Path Algebras

It is shown that an algebra $Λ$ can be lifted with nilpotent Jacobson radical $r = r(Λ)$ and has a generalized matrix unit $\{e_{ii}\}_I$ with each $\bar e_{ii} $ in the center of $\bar Λ= Λ/r$ iff $Λ$ is isomorphic to a generalized path algebra with weak relations. Representations of the generalized path algebras are given. As a corollary, $Λ$ is a finite algebra with non-zero unity element over perfect field $k$ (e.g. a field with characteristic zero or a finite field) iff $Λ$ is isomorphic to a generalized path algebra $k (D, Ω, ρ)$ of finite directed graph with weak relations and $dim {\} Ω< \infty $; $Λ$ is a generalized elementary algebra which can be lifted with nilpotent Jacobson radical and has a complete set of pairwise orthogonal idempotents iff $Λ$ is isomorphic to a path algebra with relations.

Braided m-Lie Algebras

Braided m-Lie algebras induced by multiplication are introduced, which generalize Lie algebras, Lie color algebras and quantum Lie algebras. The necessary and sufficient conditions for the braided m-Lie algebras to be strict Jacobi braided Lie algebras are given. Two classes of braided m-Lie algebras are given, which are generalized matrix braided m-Lie algebras and braided m-Lie subalgebras of $End_F M$, where $M$ is a Yetter-Drinfeld module over $B$ with dim $B< \infty $ . In particular, generalized classical braided m-Lie algebras $sl_{q, f}(GM_G(A), F)$ and $osp_{q, t} (GM_G(A), M, F)$ of generalized matrix algebra $GM_G(A)$ are constructed and their connection with special generalized matrix Lie superalgebra $sl_{s, f}(GM_{{\bf Z}_2}(A^s), F)$ and orthosymplectic generalized matrix Lie super algebra $osp_{s, t} (GM_{{\bf Z}_2}(A^s), M^s, F)$ are established. The relationship between representations of braided m-Lie algebras and their associated algebras are established.

$T$-$Q$ relation and exact solution for the XYZ chain with general nondiagonal boundary terms

We propose that the Baxter's $Q$-operator for the XYZ quantum spin chain with open boundary conditions is given by the $j\to \infty$ limit of the corresponding transfer matrix with spin-$j$ (i.e., $(2j+1)$-dimensional) auxiliary space. The associated $T$-$Q$ relation is derived from the fusion hierarchy of the model. We use this relation to determine the Bethe Ansatz solution of the eigenvalues of the fundamental transfer matrix. This solution yields the complete spectrum of the Hamiltonian.

Hopf Galois Extension in Braided Tensor Categories

The relation between crossed product and $H$-Galois extension in braided tensor category ${\cal C}$ with equivalisers and coequivalisers is established. That is, it is shown that if there exist an equivaliser and a coequivaliser for any two morphisms in ${\cal C}$, then $A = B #_σH$ is a crossed product algebra if and only if the extension $A/B$ is Galois, the canonical epic $q: A\otimes A \to A\otimes_B A$ is split and $A$ is isomorphic as left $B$-modules and right $H$-comodules to $B\otimes H$ in ${\cal C}$.

Drinfeld twists and algebraic Bethe ansatz of the supersymmetric model associated with $U_q(gl(m|n))$

We construct the Drinfeld twists (or factorizing $F$-matrices) of the supersymmetric model associated with quantum superalgebra $U_q(gl(m|n))$, and obtain the completely symmetric representations of the creation operators of the model in the $F$-basis provided by the $F$-matrix. As an application of our general results, we present the explicit expressions of the Bethe vectors in the $F$-basis for the $U_q(gl(2|1))$-model (the quantum t-J model).

On the Construction of Correlation Functions for the Integrable Supersymmetric Fermion Models

We review the recent progress on the construction of the determinant representations of the correlation functions for the integrable supersymmetric fermion models. The factorizing $F$-matrices (or the so-called $F$-basis) play an important role in the construction. In the $F$-basis, the creation (and the annihilation) operators and the Bethe states of the integrable models are given in completely symmetric forms. This leads to the determinant representations of the scalar products of the Bethe states for the models. Based on the scalar products, the determinant representations of the correlation functions may be obtained. As an example, in this review, we give the determinant representations of the two-point correlation function for the $\gl$ (i.e. q-deformed) supersymmetric t-J model. The determinant representations are useful for analysing physical properties of the integrable models in the thermodynamical limit.

Q-operator and T-Q relation from the fusion hierarchy

We propose that the Baxter $Q$-operator for the spin-1/2 XXZ quantum spin chain is given by the $j\to \infty$ limit of the transfer matrix with spin-$j$ (i.e., $(2j+1)$-dimensional) auxiliary space. Applying this observation to the open chain with general (nondiagonal) integrable boundary terms, we obtain from the fusion hierarchy the $T$-$Q$ relation for {\it generic} values (i.e. not roots of unity) of the bulk anisotropy parameter. We use this relation to determine the Bethe Ansatz solution of the eigenvalues of the fundamental transfer matrix. This approach is complementary to the one used recently to solve the same model for the roots of unity case.

Generalized Path Algebras and Pointed Hopf Algebras

Most of pointed Hopf algebras of dimension $p^m$ with large coradical are shown to be generalized path algebras. By the theory of generalized path algebras it is obtained that the representations, homological dimensions and radicals of these Hopf algebras. The relations between the radicals of path algebras and connectivity of directed graphs are given.

Exact solution of the XXZ Gaudin model with generic open boundaries

The XXZ Gaudin model with {\it generic} integerable boundaries specified by generic {\it non-diagonal} K-matrices is studied. The commuting families of Gaudin operators are diagonalized by the algebraic Bethe ansatz method. The eigenvalues and the corresponding Bethe ansatz equations are obtained.

Drinfeld Twists and Algebraic Bethe Ansatz of the Supersymmetric t-J Model

We construct the Drinfeld twists (factorizing $F$-matrices) for the supersymmetric t-J model. Working in the basis provided by the $F$-matrix (i.e. the so-called $F$-basis), we obtain completely symmetric representations of the monodromy matrix and the pseudo-particle creation operators of the model. These enable us to resolve the hierarchy of the nested Bethe vectors for the $gl(2|1)$ invariant t-J model.

Drinfeld Twists and Symmetric Bethe Vectors of Supersymmetric Fermion Models

We construct the Drinfeld twists (factorizing $F$-matrices) of the $gl(m|n)$-invariant fermion model. Completely symmetric representation of the pseudo-particle creation operators of the model are obtained in the basis provided by the $F$-matrix (the $F$-basis). We resolve the hierarchy of the nested Bethe vectors in the $F$-basis for the $gl(m|n)$ supersymmetric model.

A note on the non-diagonal K-matrices for the trigonometric $A^{(1)}_{n-1}$ vertex model

This note presents explicit matrix expressions of a class of recently-discovered non-diagonal K-matrices for the trigonometric $A^{(1)}_{n-1}$ vertex model. From these explicit expressions, it is easily seen that in addition to a {\it discrete} (positive integer) parameter $l$, $1\leq l\leq n$, the K-matrices contain $n+1$ (or $n$) continuous free boundary parameters.
