Corrected thermodynamics and radiation predictions of modified black bounce compact objects

We study the thermodynamic properties and radiation characteristics of a regular compact object obtained by applying the Simpson-Visser (SV) regularisation to the Schwarzschild modified gravity black hole. The resulting SV-MOG spacetime, whose lapse function involves both the MOG coupling parameter alpha and the black-bounce parameter l, smoothly interpolates between a regular black hole, a one-way wormhole, and a traversable wormhole depending on the parameter l. We derive the Hawking temperature and heat capacity for the black hole branch, identifying second-order phase transitions signaled by sign changes in CV, and, for the horizonless wormhole branch where no causal horizon and hence no genuine Hawking radiation exists we instead construct a physically well-defined effective temperature from the Lyapunov exponent of the unstable photon sphere. Quantum gravitational corrections to the entropy are incorporated via logarithmic terms parameterized by coefficients beta1, beta2, whose theoretically preferred ranges in loop quantum gravity and string theory we discuss, and we show that deviations from the Bekenstein-Hawking area law become significant at small horizon radii. A linear scalar-perturbation analysis further shows that the effective radial potential remains non-negative throughout the black-hole exterior and across the wormhole throat, indicating stability against monopole perturbations independently of the thermodynamic stability inferred from the heat capacity.

Constraints on Scalar--Tensor--Vector Gravity Theory Parameters Inferred from Quasiperiodic Oscillations

We study circular geodesics of neutral test particles in the static charged solution of Scalar--Tensor--Vector Gravity (STVG), and we use the twin kilohertz quasiperiodic oscillations (QPOs) of twelve accreting compact objects to bound its parameters. Starting from the effective potential we obtain closed forms for the specific energy, the specific angular momentum and the Keplerian angular velocity, and from these the radial and vertical epicyclic frequencies. The horizon, photon sphere, shadow radius and innermost stable circular orbit are given in closed form as well, and each one reduces to the RN and Schwarzschild value in the appropriate limit. Null geodesics are integrated numerically and show how the enhanced coupling widens the capture cross section while leaving the logarithmic divergence of the deflection angle at the photon sphere intact. Within the RP model we then run Metropolis--Hastings MCMC simulations on the QPO pairs of eight neutron stars and four microquasars, comparing the Schwarzschild spacetime, the RN spacetime, STVG with vanishing charge and the full STVG solution. The best fits are obtained mainly for the charged solutions in the neutron star sample, while all four models describe the black hole sample equally well. We show that the orbital dynamics depends on the mass $M$, the coupling $α$ and the charge $Q$ only through the two combinations $\Meff=(1+α)M$ and $\Qeff^{2}=(1+α)(αM^{2}+Q^{2})$, which accounts for the multimodal posteriors found in the neutron star sample and sets a model-independent limit on what QPO timing alone can measure. The astrophysical implications of these bounds, in particular for inferred masses above the Tolman--Oppenheimer--Volkoff limit, are discussed in detail.

Schwarzschild-like Black Holes Submerged in an Exponential Density Dark Matter Profile

We study a class of Schwarzschild black holes embedded in an exponential-spheroidal dark matter halo, modelled by a phenomenological density profile $ρ(r)=ρ_0 e^{-r/r_0}$. By solving the Einstein equations for a static, spherically symmetric spacetime, we obtain an analytic solution for the lapse function that reduces to the Schwarzschild spacetime in the absence of the halo and to a regular halo configuration when the central black hole mass vanishes. Indeed, the two halo parameters, $ρ_0$ and $r_0$, describe the strength and radial extent of the dark matter distribution. We analyse the curvature structure, energy conditions, shadow observables, scalar quasi-normal modes and grey-body bounds of the resulting spacetime. The Ricci scalar and the Ricci square remain finite at the origin, whilst the Kretschmann scalar retains the usual central tidal singularity in the presence of a black hole mass. The weak, null, and dominant energy conditions are satisfied, whilst the strong energy condition is violated on a finite radial interval. We also show that the halo monotonically shifts the photon sphere and the shadow radius, which allows us to derive approximate constraints from the EHT observations of M87* and Sgr A*. For scalar perturbations, the Padé-resummed WKB approximation yields stable quasinormal frequencies, while the standard WKB approximation becomes unreliable for higher overtones and strong-halo configurations. Finally, the greybody bounds indicate that the halo weakens transmission through the effective barrier, particularly at low frequencies.

Traversable Wormhole Solutions in massive $F(T)$ gravity

We study traversable wormhole geometries in an $F(T)$ teleparallel framework augmented by a perturbative de Rham-Gabadadze-Tolley (dRGT) graviton-mass term. Adopting the static, spherically symmetric Morris-Thorne ansatz, we derive the field and conservation equations and decompose the effective energy-momentum tensor into torsional and massive contributions. Focusing on three representative redshift profiles, namely, constant, logarithmic, and power-law, together with two realizations of the massive sector (the general case and a uniform-pressure specialization), we construct exact, horizonless solutions that satisfy the Morris-Thorne flaring-out condition and are asymptotically flat. The effective matter sector either respects the standard energy conditions or only mildly violates them within controlled parameter ranges. Crucially, the dRGT term supplies an additional anisotropic pressure that can sustain the throat without invoking explicitly exotic matter; in the vanishing-mass limit, the configurations reduce smoothly to standard $F(T)$ wormholes, confirming the internal consistency of the framework.

Exact Taub-NUT-like Black Holes in Einstein-bumblebee gravity: their thermodynamics and thermodynamic topology

We re-derive an exact analytic three-parameter expressions for the non-rotating metric, describing a Taub-NUT-like black hole (BH), and its associated bumblebee field that are solutions to the Einstein-bumblebee gravity. We construct a consistence thermodynamics for the Taub-NUT-like BH and determine its thermodynamic topological class. The Lorentz symmetry breaking affects the mass and temperature of the BH but does not affect its thermodynamic topological classification.

Astrophysical Constraints on Charged Black Holes in Scalar--Tensor--Vector Gravity

We explore charged black holes in Scalar-Tensor-Vector Gravity (STVG), unveiling their distinctive features across multiple physical domains. Our topological analysis reveals that the STVG coupling parameter $α$ bolsters thermal stability while electromagnetic charge $Q$ weakens it. Using the Gauss-Bonnet theorem, we find that $α$ amplifies light deflection and enlarges shadow silhouettes, with $Q$ generating opposite effects. Our quantum-corrected models with exponential entropy terms pinpoint phase transitions in the microscopic regime, modifying conventional thermodynamic relationships. Calculations of strong gravitational lensing, shadow geometry, and Hawking emission show clear STVG signatures that diverge from Einstein's predictions. Notably, our accretion disk analysis uncovers an intriguing phenomenon: specific combinations of $α$ and $Q$ can produce radiation patterns resembling spinning Kerr black holes, creating potential identification challenges for observers. These findings establish concrete observational tests for STVG theory through next generation astronomical imaging and lensing campaigns. By connecting theoretical predictions to measurable quantities, we outline specific pathways to confirm or constrain STVG using data from current and future space telescopes.

Quasinormal Modes of Massive Scalar Perturbations in Slow-Rotation Bumblebee Black Holes with Traceless Conformal Electrodynamics

We study electrically charged, slowly rotating black hole solutions in Einstein-Bumblebee gravity coupled to the traceless (conformal) ModMax nonlinear electrodynamics. By adopting a quadratic bumblebee potential that fixes the vacuum expectation value of the Lorentz-violating vector, we derive both the static configuration and its first-order rotating extension and demonstrate how the bumblebee parameter $\ell$ and the ModMax deformation $γ$ modify the horizon structure and the effective electric charge. We further investigate the dynamical properties of this spacetime by considering a massive scalar field perturbation. Using two independent numerical techniques, we compute the quasinormal mode (QNM) spectra and perform a comprehensive analysis of the influence of all relevant parameters, including the black hole spin, the Lorentz-violating coupling, the ModMax deformation, and the scalar field mass. Our results reveal coherent trends in the QNM frequencies, highlighting the interplay between Lorentz-symmetry breaking and nonlinear electrodynamics effects in black hole dynamics.

Dynamics of Interacting Murnaghan-Equation-of-State Fluids with Global Monopole and Nonlinear Power-Yang-Mills Hair in Critical-Dimension AdS Black Holes

We construct and analyze a novel family of exact higher-dimensional black hole solutions in Einstein-Power-Yang-Mills gravity minimally coupled to a scalar field multiplet supporting a global monopole and a surrounding anisotropic ''scalar gas'' whose stress-energy obeys a generalized Murnaghan equation of state. By adopting the Wu-Yang magnetic ansatz for the non-Abelian sector and enforcing the physically motivated radial condition $p_r=-ρ$, the field equations admit closed-form expressions for the matter density and a single-function lapse $F(r)$ expressed in terms of elementary and Gauss hypergeometric functions. The Murnaghan fluid interpolates between a non-linear core and an effective vacuum at a large radius, producing a backreaction encoded by parameters that control the stiffness and scalar-backreaction scale. We perform a systematic survey of classical energy condition, identifying regions of parameter space where the null energy condition/dominant energy condition holds while the strong energy condition is generically violated (phantom-like behavior), and examine curvature invariants to demonstrate that the solutions possess a central curvature singularity for $n>3$. Thermodynamic properties are derived in the extended phase space: explicit formulas for the Hawking temperature, entropy, conjugate potentials, and a generalized Smarr relation are obtained; the heat capacity exhibits divergencies and sign changes that mark local stability boundaries and second-order phase transitions. Varying the Yang-Mills charge, the nonlinearity index, the monopole coupling, and the Murnaghan parameters generates a rich phase behavior structure and topology changes in the defect ($φ$-Duan) map. The results underscore the manner in which gauge nonlinearity, topological defects, and dual-polytropic matter collaboratively transform BH thermodynamics and the topology of phase spaces.

Constraints on Kalb-Ramond Gravity from EHT Observations of Rotating Black Holes in Traceless Conformal Electrodynamics

We present a phenomenological study of rotating, charged black holes in Einstein gravity coupled to a traceless (conformal) matter sector formed by ModMax nonlinear electrodynamics and a Kalb-Ramond two-form that spontaneously breaks local Lorentz symmetry. Starting from a family of obtained static, Schwarzschild-like solutions with a traceless Kalb-Ramond sector, we construct the stationary, axisymmetric counterpart via the Newman-Janis algorithm. The resulting Newman-Kerr-like metric depends on four intrinsic parameters: the electric charge $Q$, the ModMax nonlinearity $γ$, the Lorentz-violation amplitude $\ell$ and the spin $a$. We analyze horizon structure and separatrices in parameter space, derive the null geodesic equations and obtain the photon capture boundary that defines the black hole shadow. Using ray-tracing, we compute shadow silhouettes and a suite of shadow observables (areal radius, characteristic radius $R_s$, distortion $δ$, oblateness $D$) and show how $γ$ and $\ell$ produce qualitatively distinct effects: $γ$ acts as a screening factor for the electromagnetic imprint, while $\ell$ introduces angular-dependent metric rescalings that deform shadow shape beyond simple size rescaling. We confront model predictions with EHT angular-radius measurements for M87$^*$ and Sgr A$^*$ and derive conservative bounds on the combinations of $(Q,γ,\ell,a)$. Our results identify an effective charge combination $Q_{\rm eff}\simeq e^{-γ}Q^{2}/(1-\ell)^{2}$ and demonstrate that modest $Q_{\rm eff}$ remains compatible with current EHT images while large $Q_{\rm eff}$ is progressively disfavored.

Analytic and Numerical Constraints on QPOs in EHT and XRB Sources Using Quantum-Corrected Black Holes

This investigation examines QPOs in two quantum-corrected BH spacetimes that preserve general covariance while incorporating quantum gravitational effects through a dimensionless parameter ζ. We combine analytical derivations of epicyclic frequencies with comprehensive numerical simulations of BHL accretion to explore how quantum corrections manifest in observable astrophysical phenomena. Using a fiducial BH mass of M=10M_\odot representative of stellar-mass X-ray binaries, we demonstrate that the two models exhibit fundamentally different behaviors: Model-I modifies both temporal and radial metric components, leading to innermost stable circular orbit migration proportional to ζ^4 and dramatic stagnation point evolution from 27M to 5M as quantum corrections strengthen. Model-II preserves the classical temporal component while altering only spatial geometry, maintaining constant stagnation points and stable cavity structures throughout the parameter range. Our numerical simulations reveal distinct QPO generation mechanisms, with Model-I showing systematic frequency evolution and cavity shrinkage that suppresses oscillations for ζ\geq 3M, while Model-II maintains stable low-frequency modes up to ζ\geq 5M. Power spectral density analyzes demonstrate characteristic frequency ratios (3:2, 2:1, 5:3) consistent with observations from X-ray binaries, providing specific targets for discriminating between quantum correction scenarios. The hydrodynamically derived constraints (ζ\lesssim 4M) show remarkable agreement with independent EHT limits for M87* and Sgr A*, validating our theoretical framework through multiple observational channels. These results establish QPO frequency analysis as a probe for detecting quantum gravitational effects in astrophysical BHs and demonstrate the complementary nature of timing and imaging observations in constraining fundamental physics.

The $D$-dimensional charged AdS black holes solutions in polytropic dark energy from Barrow entropy

This paper mainly aims to solve the Anti deSitter Black Holes (AdS BH) under the Barrow entropy under polytropic gas fluid, especially the Chaplygin Gas. First, we develop this last polytropic model in detail to then obtain the possible solutions and thermodynamic conditions on the Energy-Momentum and the Barrow Entropy for spacetimes of spatial dimension $D>3$. Then, we focus on thermidynamic solutions and the different impacts on the Barrow entropy of the black hole, the temperature profile, the mass and the various physical quantities involved. Afterwards, we focus on the specific cases of the solutions of dimensions $D=4$ and $5$ in order to concretely test the models, especially from the point of view of the thermodynamic topology. Finally, we generalize everything by elaborating and testing the stability of the models to arrive at the thermal geometry of the AdS BH.

Shadows aspect of rotating black holes in the Einstein-AdS SU(N)-nonlinear sigma model

Recent observations of the supermassive black holes M87* and Sgr A* by the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) have opened new avenues for testing gravity theories through black hole shadow observables. These observations offer a means to distinguish between general relativity and modified gravity theories while providing insights into the astrophysical properties of the observed black holes. In this work, we investigate photon orbits and shadow characteristics of rotating black holes within the Einstein-$\mathrm{SU}(N)$ nonlinear sigma model. We first analyze the static, spherically symmetric black hole solution, focusing on its asymptotically Anti-de Sitter behavior and causal structure. The Modified Newman-Janis Algorithm is then applied to obtain the rotating counterpart, followed by an examination of its geometric properties, ergoregions, and causal structure. Utilizing the Lagrangian formalism, we derive the equations of motion for photons and study the resulting black hole shadow on the celestial plane. We explore the dependence of the shadow's size and shape on the black hole parameters $K$ and $N$, imposing constraints using EHT observational data for M87* and Sgr A*. Finally, we analyze the black hole's evaporation rate under different scenarios.

Thermodynamic topology of Black Holes in $F(R)$-Euler-Heisenberg gravity's Rainbow

The topology of black hole thermodynamics is a fascinating area of study that explores the connections between thermodynamic properties and topological features of black holes. We successfully derive the field equations for $F(R)$-Euler-Heisenberg theory, providing a framework for studying the interplay between modified gravity and non-linear electromagnetic effects. We obtain an analytical solution for a static, spherically symmetric, energy-dependent black hole with constant scalar curvature. Also, our analysis of black holes in F(R)-Euler-Heisenberg gravity's Rainbow reveals significant insights into their topological properties. We identified the total topological charges by examining the normalized field lines along various free parameters. Our findings indicate that the parameters $( R_0 )$ and $( f_ε = g_ε )$ influence the topological charges. These results are comprehensively summarized in Table I. In examining the photon sphere within this model, the sign of the parameter \( R_0 \) plays a crucial role in determining whether the model adopts a dS or AdS configuration. An interesting characteristic of this model is that, in its AdS form, it avoids the formation of naked singularity regions, which sets it apart from many other models. Typically, varying parameter values in other models can result in the division of space into regions of black holes and naked singularities. However, this model consistently retains its black hole behavior by featuring an unstable photon sphere, regardless of parameter values within the acceptable range. In its dS form, the behavior of the model's photon sphere remains consistent with other dS models and does not exhibit unique differences.

Quasinormal Modes, Grebody Factors, and Hawking Radiation Sparsity of Black Holes Influenced by a Global Monopole Charge in Kalb-Ramond Gravity

Kalb-Ramond (KR) gravity is an intriguing model incorporating local Lorentz violation, and black hole (BH) solutions are known to exist. In this study, we investigate some crucial aspects of BHs endowed with a global monopole charge in the self-interacting KR field. Specifically, we study the quasinormal modes (QNMs) corresponding to scalar, electromagnetic, and gravitational perturbations; derive rigorous bounds for the greybody factors (GBFs); and examine the sparsity of Hawking radiation. The effects of the model parameters $\ell$ (Lorentz-violating parameter in KR gravity) and $η$ (monopole charge) on these phenomena are elaborated. First, QNMs are evaluated with high precision using the 13\textsuperscript{th}-order Padé-averaged WKB method and cross-examined via time-domain analyses within an acceptable parameter space. The results show that the estimated QNMs are more sensitive to $\ell$; however, both model parameters influence the frequency spectra. The derived bounds on the GBFs aid in further constraining the parameter space. It is shown that $\ell$ and $η$ have a similar effect on the greybody bounds. Furthermore, positive and negative values of $\ell$ have opposing effects in that the bounds are reversed for the two cases. The analyses of the Hawking radiation sparsity highlight the effect of $\ell$, and two scenarios are noted: either the radiation emitted is less sparse than Hawking radiation, or it is more sparse during the evaporation phase. Thus, this work presents a comprehensive account of BHs in KR gravity with a global monopole charge.

Generalized Uncertainty Principle mimicking dynamical Dark Energy: matter perturbations and gravitational wave data analysis

The Generalized Uncertainty Principle (GUP) stands out as a nearly ubiquitous feature in quantum gravity modeling, predicting the emergence of a minimum length at the Planck scale. Recently, it has been shown to modify the area-law scaling of the Bekenstein-Hawking entropy, giving rise to deformed Friedmann equations within Jacobson's approach. The ensuing model incorporates the GUP correction as a quintessence-like dark energy that supplements the cosmological constant, influencing the dynamics of the early Universe while aligning with the $Λ$CDM paradigm in the current epoch. In this extended scenario, we examine the growth of matter perturbations and structure formation employing the Top-Hat Spherical Collapse approach. Our analysis reveals that the profile of the density contrast is sensitive to the GUP parameter $β$, resulting in a slower gravitational evolution of primordial fluctuations in the matter density. We also discuss implications for the relic density of Primordial Gravitational Waves (PGWs), identifying the parameter space that enhances the PGW spectrum. Using the sensitivity of the next-generation GW observatories in the frequency range below $10^3\,\mathrm{Hz}$, we constrain $β\lesssim10^{39}$, which is more stringent than most other cosmological/astrophysical limits. This finding highlights the potential role of GWs in the pursuit of understanding quantum gravity phenomenology.

Thermodynamic Topology of Kiselev-AdS Black Holes within f (R, T) gravity

In this paper, we investigate the topological charge and the conditions for the existence of the photon sphere (PS) in Kiselev-AdS black holes within \(f(R, T)\) gravity. We employ two different methods based on Duan's topological current \(ϕ\)-mapping theory viz analize of temperature and the generalized Helmholtz free energy methods to study the topological classes of our black hole. By considering the mentioned black hole, we discuss the critical and zero points (topological charges and topological numbers) for different parameters. Our findings reveal that the Kiselev parameter \(ω\) and the \(f(R, T)\) gravity parameter \(γ\) influence the number of topological charges of black holes, leading to novel insights into topological classifications. We observe that for given values of the free parameters, there exist total topological charges (\(Q_{total} = -1\)) for T-method and total topological numbers (\(W = +1\)) for the generalized Helmholtz free energy method. Our research findings elucidate that, in contrast to the scenario where \(ω= 1/3\), in other cases, increasing the parameter \(γ\) increases the number of total topological charges for the black hole. Interestingly, for the phantom field (\(ω= -4/3\)), we observed that decreasing the parameter \(γ\) increases the number of topological charges. Additionally, we study the results for the photon sphere. The studied models clearly reveal that the simultaneous presence of \(γ\) and \(ω\) effectively expands the permissible range for \(γ\). In other words, the model can exhibit black hole behavior over a larger domain. Additionally, it is evident that with the stepwise reduction of \(ω\), the region covered by singularity also diminishes and becomes more restricted. However, An interesting point about all three ranges is the elimination of the forbidden region in this model.

Corrected Thermodynamics and Stability of Magnetic charged AdS Black Holes surrounded by Quintessence

In this study, we explore the corrected thermodynamics of non-linear magnetic charged anti-de Sitter (AdS) black holes surrounded by quintessence, incorporating thermal fluctuations and deriving the corrected thermodynamic potentials. We analyze the effects of corrections due to thermal fluctuations on various thermodynamic potentials, including enthalpy, Helmholtz free energy, and Gibbs free energy. Our results show significant impacts on smaller black holes, with first-order corrections destabilizing them, while second-order corrections enhance stability with increasing parameter values. The specific heat analysis further elucidates the stability criteria, indicating that the large black holes ensure stability against phase transitions. However, the thermal fluctuations do not affect the physical limitation points as well as the second-order phase transition points of the black hole. Our findings highlight the intricate role of thermal fluctuations in black hole thermodynamics and their influence on stability, providing deeper insights into the behaviour of black holes under corrected thermodynamic conditions.
