Mabuchi solitons and Mabuchi constants on Fano admissible manifolds

In this paper, we study the existence of Mabuchi solitons on admissible manifolds as defined by Apostolov--Calderbank--Gauduchon--Tønnesen-Friedman. We prove that a Fano admissible manifold admits a Mabuchi soliton if and only if the Mabuchi constant is less than 1. We also provide an explicit formula for the Mabuchi constant on Fano admissible manifolds, which generalizes that of Mabuchi. Using this formula, we completely determine the existence and non-existence of Mabuchi solitons on Fano admissible manifolds over the complex projective space $\mathbf{P}^{n}$.

Mabuchi Kähler solitons versus extremal Kähler metrics and beyond

Using the Yau-Tian-Donaldson type correspondence for $v$-solitons established by Han-Li, we show that a smooth complex $n$-dimensional Fano variety admits a Mabuchi soliton provided it admits an extremal Kähler metric whose scalar curvature is strictly less than $2(n+1)$. Combined with previous observations by Mabuchi and Nakamura in the other direction, this gives a characterization of the existence of Mabuchi solitons in terms of the existence of extremal Kähler metrics on Fano manifolds. An extension of this correspondence to $v$-solitons is also obtained.

Relative Ding and $K$-stability of toric Fano manifolds in low dimensions

The purpose of this paper is to clarify all of the uniformly relatively Ding stable toric Fano threefolds and fourfolds as well as unstable ones. The key player in our classification result is the Mabuchi constants, which can be calculated by combinatorial data of the associated moment polytopes due to the work of Yao [33]. In Tables 1-3, we give the list of uniform relative Ding stability of all toric Fano manifolds in dimension up to four with the values of the Mabuchi constants. As an application of our main theorem (Theorem 1.1), we clarify the difference between relative $K$-stability and relative Ding stability by considering some specific toric Fano manifolds (Corollaries 1.6 and 1.9). In the proof of Corollary 1.9, we used Bott tower structure of relatively Ding unstable toric Fano manifolds.

Strong K-stability and asymptotic Chow-stability

For a polarized algebraic manifold $(X,L)$, let $T$ be an algebraic torus in the group of all holomorphic automorphisms of $X$. Then strong relative K-stability will be shown to imply asymptotic relative Chow-stability. In particular, by taking $T$ to be trivial, we see that asymptotic Chow-stability follows from strong K-stability.

Convexity properties of generalized moment maps

In this paper, we consider generalized moment maps for Hamiltonian actions on $H$-twisted generalized complex manifolds introduced by Lin and Tolman \cite{Lin}. The main purpose of this paper is to show convexity and connectedness properties for generalized moment maps. We study Hamiltonian torus actions on compact $H$-twisted generalized complex manifolds and prove that all components of the generalized moment map are Bott-Morse functions. Based on this, we shall show that the generalized moment maps have a convex image and connected fibers. Furthermore, by applying the arguments of Lerman, Meinrenken, Tolman, and Woodward \cite{Ler2} we extend our results to the case of Hamiltonian actions of general compact Lie groups on $H$-twisted generalized complex orbifolds.

Convexity properties for generalized moment maps I

We study generalized moment maps for a Hamiltonian action on a connected compact $H$-twisted generalized complex manifold introduced by Lin and Tolman and prove the convexity and connectedness properties of the generalized moment maps for a Hamiltonian torus action.

Reduction of generalized Calabi-Yau structures

A generalized Calabi-Yau structure is a geometrical structure on a manifold which generalizes both the concept of the Calabi-Yau structure and that of the symplectic one. In view of a result of Lin and Tolman in generalized complex cases, we introduce in this paper the notion of a generalized moment map for a compact Lie group action on a generalized Calabi-Yau manifold and construct a reduced generalized Calabi-Yau structure on the reduced space. As an application, we show some relationship between generalized moment maps and the Bergman kernels, and prove the Duistermaat-Heckman formula for a torus action on a generalized Calabi-Yau manifold.
