Inverse problems for nonlinear Maxwell's equations with second harmonic generation

In the current paper we consider an inverse boundary value problem of electromagnetism with nonlinear Second Harmonic Generation (SHG) process. We show the unique determination of the electromagnetic material parameters and the SHG susceptibility parameter of the medium by making electromagnetic measurements on the boundary. We are interested in the case when a frequency is fixed.

A sharp stability estimate for the geodesic ray transform

We prove a sharp $L^2\to H^{1/2}$ stability estimate for the geodesic X-ray transform of tensor fields of order $0$, $1$ and $2$ on a simple Riemannian manifold with a suitable chosen $H^{1/2}$ norm. We show that such an estimate holds for a family of such $H^{1/2}$ norms, not topologically equivalent, but equivalent on the range of the transform. The reason for this is that the geodesic X-ray transform has a microlocally structured range.

Inversion formulas and range characterizations for the attenuated geodesic ray transform

We present two range characterizations for the attenuated geodesic X-ray transform defined on pairs of functions and one-forms on simple surfaces. Such characterizations are based on first isolating the range over sums of functions and one-forms, then separating each sub-range in two ways, first by implicit conditions, second by deriving new inversion formulas for sums of functions and one-forms.
