STAR: Structured Tokenization and Target-Aware Interest Representation for PCVR Prediction

Post-click conversion rate (PCVR) prediction is a core ranking task in industrial recommender systems. Modern ranking models must jointly capture heterogeneous non-sequential features, multi-behavior user sequences, and target-item-aware user interests, while remaining robust to high-cardinality sparse features, missing values, and train-inference inconsistencies. In this paper, we present STAR (Structured Tokenization and Target-Aware Interest Representation), a practical framework for the KDD Cup 2026 Tencent UniRec Challenge. STAR combines structured feature tokenization with target-aware interest representation on top of a HyFormer-style multi-sequence backbone. It introduces high-cardinality signal recovery, explicit user-item interaction tokens, target-aware sequence decoding, and a weighted user-item contrastive auxiliary objective inspired by InfoNCE. We further align the training and inference pipelines by reconstructing feature remapping tables and structural hyperparameters from the saved training configuration. Experiments on the challenge dataset identify the components that most reliably improve ranking AUC, while LogLoss is reported as a calibration diagnostic. The main ablation study shows a large gain from temporal context, with smaller but useful contributions from contrastive alignment, target-aware interest encoding, and high-cardinality sequence feature recovery.

UBEP: Re-architecting Expert Parallelism Communication Library for Production Superpods

The deployment of Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) models on production high-bandwidth superpods, such as NVIDIA's NVL72/576 and Huawei's CloudMatrix384, introduces critical challenges beyond raw interconnect bandwidth. While these systems provide unified global address spaces and high-bandwidth fabrics, their full potential for sparse MoE communication is hindered by three fundamental bottlenecks: (1) Strict execution serialization imposed by coarse-grained Bulk Synchronous Parallel (BSP) orchestration of interdependent communication phases; (2) Prohibitive synchronization overhead that fails to scale alongside high interconnect bandwidth; and (3) Severe load imbalance resulting from distance-agnostic scheduling of irregular token traffic. To eliminate these bottlenecks, we introduce UBEP (Unified-Bus Expert Parallelism), a production-ready communication library that rethinks MoE's All-to-All primitives for modern superpod architectures. Through large scale experiments, UBEP reduces All-to-All latency by up to 52.4% and MoE inference Time Per Output Token (TPOT) by up to 11.1%.

KAT-Coder-V2.5 Technical Report

We present KAT-Coder-V2.5, a coding-focused agentic model trained to act autonomously inside real, executable repositories rather than as a single-turn code generator. Its capability is bottlenecked less by model scale than by the scarcity of reproducible environments, verifiable rewards, and high-value trajectories, which we address with an end-to-end agentic post-training framework. AutoBuilder reconstructs multilingual repositories into sandboxed environments with fail-to-pass and pass-to-pass verification at scale, from which we regenerate self-contained task specifications, recover near-miss trajectories, and distill supervision through process-aware filtering, while KwaiClawEnv synthesizes large-scale tool-use trajectories from executable services and real task seeds. We further scale reinforcement learning with harness randomization, a reliability-hardened sandbox, an asymmetric actor--critic PPO with hindsight-augmented value estimation, and a harness-oriented reward framework, and unify SWE, Agent-Claw, and WebCoding experts via Multi-Teacher On-Policy Distillation. Across six software-engineering and agentic benchmarks, KAT-Coder-V2.5 delivers the best agentic tool-use result on PinchBench and ranks second only to the frontier Opus 4.8 on repository-level software engineering. FedSM: Robust Semantics-Guided Feature Mixup for Bias Reduction in Federated Learning with Long-Tail Data

Federated Learning (FL) enables collaborative model training across decentralized clients without sharing private data. However, FL suffers from biased global models due to non-IID and long-tail data distributions. We propose \textbf{FedSM}, a novel client-centric framework that mitigates this bias through semantics-guided feature mixup and lightweight classifier retraining. FedSM uses a pretrained image-text-aligned model to compute category-level semantic relevance, guiding the category selection of local features to mix-up with global prototypes to generate class-consistent pseudo-features. These features correct classifier bias, especially when data are heavily skewed. To address the concern of potential domain shift between the pretrained model and the data, we propose probabilistic category selection, enhancing feature diversity to effectively mitigate biases. All computations are performed locally, requiring minimal server overhead. Extensive experiments on long-tail datasets with various imbalanced levels demonstrate that FedSM consistently outperforms state-of-the-art methods in accuracy, with high robustness to domain shift and computational efficiency.

FinSight: Towards Real-World Financial Deep Research

Generating professional financial reports is a labor-intensive and intellectually demanding process that current AI systems struggle to fully automate. To address this challenge, we introduce FinSight (Financial InSight), a novel multi agent framework for producing high-quality, multimodal financial reports. The foundation of FinSight is the Code Agent with Variable Memory (CAVM) architecture, which unifies external data, designed tools, and agents into a programmable variable space, enabling flexible data collection, analysis and report generation through executable code. To ensure professional-grade visualization, we propose an Iterative Vision-Enhanced Mechanism that progressively refines raw visual outputs into polished financial charts. Furthermore, a two stage Writing Framework expands concise Chain-of-Analysis segments into coherent, citation-aware, and multimodal reports, ensuring both analytical depth and structural consistency. Experiments on various company and industry-level tasks demonstrate that FinSight significantly outperforms all baselines, including leading deep research systems in terms of factual accuracy, analytical depth, and presentation quality, demonstrating a clear path toward generating reports that approach human-expert quality.
