RoboMemory: A Brain-inspired Multi-memory Agentic Framework for Interactive Environmental Learning in Physical Embodied Systems

Long-horizon embodied tasks require agents to learn, reason, and generalize robustly across complex real-world environments. However, existing approaches often struggle with partial observability, fragmented spatial reasoning, and inefficient integration of heterogeneous memories, limiting their capacity for long-horizon adaptation. To address this, we introduce RoboMemory, a brain-inspired framework that unifies Temporal, Spatial, Semantic, and Episodic memory for efficient long-horizon planning and interactive learning. Its core innovations are a comprehensive memory system designed for embodied tasks, and a dynamic spatial knowledge graph for scalable, consistent memory updates. Extensive experiments on EmbodiedBench show that RoboMemory improves the average success rate of Qwen2.5-VL-72B-Ins by 26.5 percentage points and achieves performance comparable to strong closed-source VLM agents. Real-world trials further suggest RoboMemory's potential for interactive environmental learning by reusing accumulated experience across repeated task attempts. These results demonstrate RoboMemory as a scalable memory-augmented framework for embodied agents, improving long-horizon planning and cumulative learning in complex interactive environments.

OmniPiano: Diverse Dexterous Piano-Playing Challenges for Standard, Robust, Safe, and Multi-Agent RL

Dexterous robotic manipulation remains a major challenge in robotics, exemplified by piano playing, which requires coordinated control of fingers and provides a demanding testbed for reinforcement learning (RL). Although previous work established a benchmark for robotic piano playing, it is restricted to two hands and does not support unified evaluation. To address this gap, we introduce OmniPiano, a benchmark that provides one to up to five Shadow Hands and supports standard, robust, safe, and multi-agent RL within a shared piano-playing task family. OmniPiano is developed for scalable and diverse piano-playing tasks with configurable perturbations, explicit safety constraints, and decentralized cooperation settings. Particularly, to facilitate usability and extendability, OmniPiano adopts a highly modular design and provides comprehensive tasks to support RL study of task performance, robustness, safety, and cooperation in dexterous control. With at least 912 task settings and 36 baseline algorithms, OmniPiano further incorporates LLM-based agents to broaden the evaluation scope and reveal new insights. Extensive evaluations show that state-of-the-art RL algorithms and frontier LLM-based agents still struggle on challenging piano-playing tasks, even under standard RL settings, highlighting substantial room for improvement in dexterous control. Deep Prior Learning for Embodied Perception

Embodied systems need geometric perception that exploits available observations beyond images alone. Recent feed-forward 3D models incorporate geometric priors, including camera poses, intrinsics, and depth. However, handling noisy poses, preserving accurate priors, and recovering physical scale require more than simply accepting these inputs. We introduce \emph{Vision-Prior Geometry Grounded Transformer} (VPGGT), a VGGT-based framework that extends OmniVGGT for prior-aware embodied perception. We formulate sensor-motivated pose corruptions from ground-truth trajectories for training and introduce a parameter-free \emph{prior residual connection} (PRC) to mitigate \emph{prior dilution}, where predictions are less accurate than their supplied pose priors. Our noise formulation targets camera poses; supplied intrinsics and depth receive no additional corruption. We further introduce \emph{Metric Global Attention}, which conditions a global scale token on available pose and depth scales and predicts a shared metric scaling factor for the geometric outputs. Experiments across four datasets show that \emph{PRC} improves translation-direction accuracy and joint pose AUC over a matched training baseline when camera priors are provided for all views, under both exact and corrupted poses. These results support explicit prior access during refinement as a useful addition to feature-level conditioning.

Neural Network Aided Kalman Filtering with Model Predictive Control Enables Robot-Assisted Drone Recovery on a Wavy Surface

Recovering a drone on a disturbed water surface remains a significant challenge in maritime robotics. In this paper, we propose a unified framework for robot-assisted drone recovery on a wavy surface that addresses two major tasks: Firstly, accurate prediction of a moving drone's position under wave-induced disturbances using KalmanNet Plus Plus (KalmanNet++), a Neural Network Aided Kalman Filtering we proposed. Secondly, effective motion planning using the desired position we got for a manipulator via Receding Horizon Model Predictive Control (RHMPC). Specifically, we compared multiple prediction methods and proposed KalmanNet Plus Plus to predict the position of the UAV, thereby obtaining the desired position. The KalmanNet++ predicts the drone's future position 0.1\,s ahead, while the manipulator plans a capture trajectory in real time, thus overcoming not only wave-induced base motions but also limited constraints such as torque constraints and joint constraints. For the system design, we provide a collaborative system, comprising a manipulator subsystem and a UAV subsystem, enables drone lifting and drone recovery. Simulation and real-world experiments using wave-disturbed motion data demonstrate that our approach achieves a high success rate - above 95\% and outperforms conventional baseline methods by up to 10\% in efficiency and 20\% in precision. The results underscore the feasibility and robustness of our system, which achieves state-of-the-art performance and offers a practical solution for maritime drone operations.
