Stability of weighted minimal hypersurfaces under a lower $1$-weighted Ricci curvature bound

We will study the $1$-weighted Ricci curvature in view of the extrinsic geometric analysis. We derive several geometric consequences concerning stable weighted minimal hypersurfaces in weighted manifolds under a lower $1$-weighted Ricci curvature bound. We prove a Schoen-Yau type criterion, and conclude a structure theorem for three-dimensional weighted manifolds of non-negative $1$-weighted Ricci curvature. We also show non-existence results under volume growth conditions, and conclude smooth compactness theorems.

Geometric analysis on weighted manifolds under lower $0$-weighted Ricci curvature bounds

We develop geometric analysis on weighted Riemannian manifolds under lower $0$-weighted Ricci curvature bounds. Under such curvature bounds, we prove a first non-zero Steklov eigenvalue estimate of Wang-Xia type on compact weighted manifolds with boundary, and a first non-zero eigenvalue estimate of Choi-Wang type on closed weighted minimal hypersurfaces. We also produce an ABP estimate and a Sobolev inequality of Brendle type.

Almost splitting and quantitative stratification for super Ricci flow

The aim of this paper is to study almost rigidity properties of super Ricci flow whose Muller quantity is non-negative. We conclude almost splitting and quantitative stratification theorems that have been established by Bamler for Ricci flow. As a byproduct, we obtain an almost constancy for a certain integral quantity concerning scalar curvature at an almost selfsimilar point, which is new even for Ricci flow.

Liouville theorem for $V$-harmonic maps under non-negative $(m, V)$-Ricci curvature for non-positive $m$

Let $V$ be a $C^1$-vector field on an $n$-dimensional complete Riemannian manifold $(M, g)$. We prove a Liouville theorem for $V$-harmonic maps satisfying various growth conditions from complete Riemannian manifolds with non-negative $(m, V)$-Ricci curvature for $m\in\,[\,-\infty,\,0\,]\,\cup\,[\,n,\,+\infty\,]$ into Cartan-Hadam\-ard manifolds, which extends Cheng's Liouville theorem proved S.~Y.~Cheng for sublinear growth harmonic maps from complete Riemannian manifolds with non-negative Ricci curvature into Cartan-Hadamard manifolds. We also prove a Liouville theorem for $V$-harmonic maps from complete Riemannian manifolds with non-negative $(m, V)$-Ricci curvature for $m\in\,[\,-\infty,\,0\,]\,\cup\,[\,n,\,+\infty\,]$ into regular geodesic balls of Riemannian manifolds with positive upper sectional curvature bound, which extends the results of Hildebrandt-Jost-Wideman and Choi. Our probabilistic proof of Liouville theorem for several growth $V$-harmonic maps into Hadamard manifolds enhances an incomplete argument by Stafford. Our results extend the results due to Chen-Jost-Qiu\cite{ChenJostQiu} and Qiu\cite{Qiu} in the case of $m=+\infty$ on the Liouville theorem for bounded $V$-harmonic maps from complete Riemannian manifolds with non-negative $(\infty, V)$-Ricci curvature into regular geodesic balls of Riemannian manifolds with positive sectional curvature upper bound. Finally, we establish a connection between the Liouville property of $V$-harmonic maps and the recurrence property of $Δ_V$-diffusion processes on manifolds. Our results are new even in the case $V=\nabla f$ for $f\in C^2(M)$.

Heat flow and concentration of measure on directed graphs with a lower Ricci curvature bound

In a previous work, the authors introduced a Lin-Lu-Yau type Ricci curvature for directed graphs referring to the formulation of the Chung Laplacian. The aim of this note is to provide a von Renesse-Sturm type characterization of our lower Ricci curvature bound via a gradient estimate for the heat semigroup, and a transportation inequality along the heat flow. As an application, we will conclude a concentration of measure inequality for directed graphs of positive Ricci curvature.

Gaussian heat kernel estimates of Bamler-Zhang type along super Ricci flow

Bamler-Zhang have developed geometric analysis on Ricci flow with scalar curvature bound. The aim of this paper is to extend their work to various geometric flows. We generalize some of their results to super Ricci flow whose Muller quantity is non-negative, and obtain Gaussian heat kernel estimates.

Rigidity phenomena on lower $N$-weighted Ricci curvature bounds with $\varepsilon$-range for non-symmetric Laplacian

Lu-Minguzzi-Ohta have introduced the notion of a lower $N$-weighted Ricci curvature bound with $\varepsilon$-range, and derived several comparison geometric estimates from a Laplacian comparison theorem for weighted Laplacian. The aim of this paper is to investigate various rigidity phenomena for the equality case of their comparison geometric results. We will obtain rigidity results concerning the Laplacian comparison theorem, diameter comparisons, and volume comparisons. We also generalize their works for non-symmetric Laplacian induced from vector field potential.

Liouville theorems for harmonic map heat flow along ancient super Ricci flow via reduced geometry

We study harmonic map heat flow along ancient super Ricci flow, and derive several Liouville theorems with controlled growth from Perelman's reduced geometric viewpoint. For non-positively curved target spaces, our growth condition is sharp. For positively curved target spaces, our Liouville theorem is new even in the static case (i.e., for harmonic maps); moreover, we point out that the growth condition can be improved, and almost sharp in the static case. This fills the gap between the Liouville theorem of Choi and the example constructed by Schoen-Uhlenbeck.

Maximal diameter theorem for directed graphs of positive Ricci curvature

In a previous work, the authors have introduced a Lin-Lu-Yau type Ricci curvature for directed graphs, and obtained a diameter comparison of Bonnet-Myers type. In this paper, we investigate rigidity properties for the equality case, and conclude a maximal diameter theorem of Cheng type.

Comparison geometry of manifolds with boundary under lower $N$-weighted Ricci curvature bounds with $\varepsilon$-range

We study comparison geometry of manifolds with boundary under a lower $N$-weighted Ricci curvature bound for $N\in ]-\infty,1]\cup [n,+\infty]$ with $\varepsilon$-range introduced by Lu-Minguzzi-Ohta. We will conclude splitting theorems, and also comparison geometric results for inscribed radius, volume around the boundary, and smallest Dirichlet eigenvalue of the weighted $p$-Laplacian. Our results interpolate those for $N\in [n,+\infty[$ and $\varepsilon=1$, and for $N\in ]-\infty,1]$ and $\varepsilon=0$ by the second named author.

Geometric and spectral properties of directed graphs under a lower Ricci curvature bound

For undirected graphs, the Ricci curvature introduced by Lin-Lu-Yau has been widely studied from various perspectives, especially geometric analysis. In the present paper, we discuss generalization problem of their Ricci curvature for directed graphs. We introduce a new generalization by using the mean transition probability kernel which appears in the formulation of the Chung Laplacian. We conclude several geometric and spectral properties of directed graphs under a lower Ricci curvature bound extending previous results in the undirected case.

One dimensional weighted Ricci curvature and displacement convexity of entropies

In the present paper, we prove that a lower bound on the $1$-weighted Ricci curvature is equivalent to a convexity of entropies on the Wasserstein space. Based on such characterization, we provide some interpolation inequalities such as the Pr'ekopa-Leindler inequality, the Borel-Branscamp-Lieb inequality, and the Brunn-Minkowski inequality under the curvature bound.

Thermodynamic interpretation of Wasserstein distance

We derive a relation between the dissipation in a stochastic dynamics and the Wasserstein distance. We show that the minimal amount of dissipation required to transform an initial state to a final state during a diffusion process is given by the Wasserstein distance between the two states, divided by the total time of the process. This relation implies a lower bound on the dissipation for any diffusion process in terms of its initial and final state. Using a lower bound on the Wasserstein distance, we further show that we can give a lower bound on the dissipation in terms of only the mean and convariance matrix of the initial and final state. We apply this result to derive the optimal forces that minimize the dissipation for given initial and final mean and covariance.
