RefLSM: Linearized Structural-Prior Reflectance Model for Medical Image Segmentation and Bias-Field Correction

Medical image segmentation remains challenging due to intensity inhomogeneity, noise, blurred boundaries, and irregular structures. Traditional level set methods, while effective in certain cases, often depend on approximate bias field estimations and therefore struggle under severe non-uniform imaging conditions. To address these limitations, we propose a novel variational Reflectance-based Level Set Model (RefLSM), which explicitly integrates Retinex-inspired reflectance decomposition into the segmentation framework. By decomposing the observed image into reflectance and bias field components, RefLSM directly segments the reflectance, which is invariant to illumination and preserves fine structural details. Building on this foundation, we introduce two key innovations for enhanced precision and robustness. First, a linear structural prior steers the smoothed reflectance gradients toward a data-driven reference, providing reliable geometric guidance in noisy or low-contrast scenes. Second, a relaxed binary level-set is embedded in RefLSM and enforced via convex relaxation and sign projection, yielding stable evolution and avoiding reinitialization-induced diffusion. The resulting variational problem is solved efficiently using an ADMM-based optimization scheme. Extensive experiments on multiple medical imaging datasets demonstrate that RefLSM achieves superior segmentation accuracy, robustness, and computational efficiency compared to state-of-the-art level set methods.

Disjoint Ces$\grave{a}$ro-hypercyclic operators

In this paper, we investigate the properties of disjoint Ces$\grave{a}$ro-hypercyclic operators. First, the definition of disjoint Ces$\grave{a}$ro-hypercyclic operators is provided, and disjoint Ces$\grave{a}$ro-Hypercyclicity Criterion is proposed. Later, two methods are used to prove that operators satisfying this criterion possess disjoint Ces$\grave{a}$ro-hypercyclicity. Finally, this paper further investigates weighted shift operators and provides detailed characterizations of the weight sequences for disjoint Ces$\grave{a}$ro-hypercyclic unilateral and bilateral weighted shift operators on sequence spaces.

The frequent hypercyclicity of unbounded operator

We establish two Frequent Hypercyclicity Criteria for unbounded operators, inspired by the frameworks of Bayart Grivaux and deLaubenfels Emamirad Grosse Erdmann. These criteria simplify the verification and construction of frequently hypercyclic operators.

Unbounded Chaotic Weighted Pseudo-shift

In this paper, based on the work of Vijay K. Srivastava and Harish Chandra, we give a characterization of the unbounded hypercyclic weighted pseudo-shift operator $wC_φ$ on $\ell^p$ or $c_0$. Moreover we use the hypercyclicity criterion of Bès, Chan, and Seubert to give a necessary and sufficient condition in order that $wC_φ$ be a chaotic operator.

Dynamic of Time Varying Weighted Backward Shift Operator

we study the hypercyclic and chaotic properties of the time varying weighted backward shift operator $(Tx)(t)=w(t)x(t+a)$ in $L_p(0,\infty)(1\leq p<\infty)$ and $C_0[0,\infty)$. And we also analyse the spectral structure of the operators if the spaces are complex.
