The mass spectrum and strong decay properties of the charmed-strange mesons within Godfrey-Isgur model considering the coupled-channel effects

Motivated by the recently observed $D_{s0}(2590)$ state by LHCb, we investigate the mass spectrum and the strong decay properties of the charmed-strange mesons within Godfrey-Isgur model considering the coupled-channel effects. Our results support that $D_{s0}^*(2317)$ and $D_{s1}(2460)$ can be interpreted as the $D_{s}(1^3P_0)$ and $D_{s}(1^3P_1)$ states with larger $DK$ and $D^*K$ components, respectively, and $D_{s1}(2700)$, $D_{s1}(2536)$, $D^*_{s2}(2573)$, $D_{s1}^*(2860)$, $D_{s3}^*(2860)$, and $D_{sJ}^*(3040)$ can be well interpreted as the $D_s(2^3S_1)$, $D_s(1^1P_1)$, $D_s(1^3P_2)$, $D_s(1^3D_1)$, $D_s(1^3D_3)$, and $D_s(2^1P_1)$ states, respectively. Although, $D_{s0}(2590)$ mass is about 50 MeV less than our prediction for the $D_{s}(2^1S_0)$ state, its width is still in good agreement with the one of $D_{s}(2^1S_0)$. Therefore, $D_{s0}(2590)$ state needs to be further confirmed by the experimental measurements, and the more precise information about $D_{s0}(2590)$ will shed light on its assignment of $D_{s}(2^1S_0)$. Furthermore, we predict the masses and the strong decay properties of the charmed-strange mesons with masses around 3 GeV, which would be helpful to experimentally search for these states.

Search for a $D \bar{D}$ bound state in the $Λ_b \rightarrow ΛD\bar{D}$ process

We have investigated the process of $Λ_b\to ΛD\bar{D}$, by taking into account the contributions from the $s$-wave $D\bar{D}$ interaction within the coupled-channel unitary approach, and the intermediate $ψ(3770)$ resonance. In addition to the peak of the $ψ(3770)$, an enhancement near the $D\bar{D}$ mass threshold is found in the $D\bar{D}$ invariant mass distributions, which should be the reflection of the $D\bar{D}$ bound state. We would like to encourage our experimental colleagues to measure the $D\bar{D}$ invariant mass distribution of the $Λ_b\to ΛD\bar{D}$ process, which is crucial to search for the $D\bar{D}$ bound state and to understand the heavy-hadron heavy-hadron interactions.

Search for the $D^*\bar{D}^*$ molecular state $Z_c(4000)$ in the reaction $B^{-} \rightarrow J/ψρ^0 K^{-}$

Based on the prediction of a $D^*\bar{D}^*$ molecular state $Z_c(4000)$ with isospin $I=1$ in the coupled channel approach, we suggest to search for this state in the reaction $B^- \to J/ψρ^0 K^-$. By taking into account the final state interactions of $J/ψρ$ and $D^{*0}\bar{D}^{*0}$, and the contribution from the $K_1(1270)$ resonance, we find that the $J/ψρ$ mass distribution shows a peak around 4000~MeV, which could be associated to the $D^*\bar{D}^*$ molecular state $Z_c(4000)$. Searching for the $Z_c(4000)$ in the reaction $B^- \to J/ψρ^0 K^-$ is crucial to understand the internal structures of the exotic hadrons, and our predictions can be tested by the Belle II and LHCb in future.

Green's function method for the spin and pseudospin symmetries in the single-particle resonant states

We investigate the spin and pseudospin symmetry in the single-particle resonant states by solving the Dirac equation containing a Woods-Saxon potential with Green's function method. Taking double-magic nucleus $^{208}$Pb as an example, three spin doublets $3d$, $2h$, and $1j$ and three pseudospin doublets $3\tilde{p}$, $1\tilde{i}$, and $1\tilde{j}$ are obtained for the single-neutron resonant states. By analyzing the energy splittings, we find that the threshold effect plays an important role in resonant pseudospin doubles. Besides, there is a reversed level structure of pseudospin doublets in the continuum. Differently, all the width splittings of either the spin doublets or the pseudospin doublets are systematically positive and the splittings are very small except $1\tilde{j}$ doublet. Further studies show that the splittings of the energies and widths for the resonant (pseudo)spin doublets are independent. Besides, the similarity properties of the wave functions of the spin and pseudospin doublets still maintain well in resonant states.

Meson spectrum in Regge phenomenology

Under the assumption that both light and heavy quarkonia populate approximately linear Regge trajectories with the requirements of additivity of intercepts and inverse slopes, the masses of different meson multiplets are estimated. The predictions derived from the quasi-linear Regge trajectories are in reasonable agreement with those given by many other references.
