Normed representations of weight quivers

Let $A$ and $B$ be two tensor rings given by weight quivers. We introduce norms for tensor rings and $(A,B)$-bimodules, and define an important category $\mathscr{A}^p_ς$ in this paper whose object is a triple $(N,v,δ)$ given by an $(A,B)$-bimodule $N$, a special element $v\in V$ satisfying some special conditions, and a special $(A,B)$-homomorphism $δ: N^{\oplus_p 2^{\dim A}} \to N$ and each morphism $(N,v,δ) \to (N',v',δ')$ is given by an $(A,B)$-homomorphism $θ: N\to N'$ such that $θ(v)=v'$ and $δ' θ^{\oplus 2^{\dim A}} = θδ$ hold. We show that $\mathscr{A}^p_ς$ has an initial object such that Daniell integration, Bochner integration, Lebesgue integration, Stone--Weierstrass Approximation Theorem, power series expansion, and Fourier series expansion are morphisms in $\mathscr{A}^p_ς$ starting with this initial object.

Normed modules and the categorification of integrations, series expansions, and differentiations

We explore the assignment of norms to $\mathitΛ$-modules over a finite-dimensional algebra $\mathitΛ$, resulting in the establishment of normed $\mathitΛ$-modules. Our primary contribution lies in constructing two new categories $\mathscr{N}\!\!or^p$ and $\mathscr{A}^p$, where each object in $\mathscr{N}\!\!or^p$ is a normed $\mathitΛ$-module $N$ limited by a special element $v_N\in N$ and a special $\mathitΛ$-homomorphism $δ_N: N^{\oplus 2^{\dim\mathitΛ}} \to N$, the morphism in $\mathscr{N}\!\!or^p$ is a $\mathitΛ$-homomorphism $θ: N\to M$ such that $θ(v_N) = v_M$ and $θδ_N = δ_Mθ^{\oplus 2^{\dim\mathitΛ}}$, and $\mathscr{A}^p$ is a full subcategory of $\mathscr{N}\!\!or^p$ generated by all Banach modules. By examining the objects and morphisms in these categories. We establish a framework for understanding the categorification of integration, series expansions, and derivatives. Furthermore, we obtain the Stone--Weierstrass approximation theorem in the sense of $\mathscr{A}^p$.

Normed modules, integral sequences, and integrals with variable upper limits

This paper provides a new categorification of the Lebesgue integral with variable upper limits by using normed modules over finite-dimensional $\Bbbk$-algebras $\mathitΛ$ and the category $\mathscr{A}^p_{\mathitΛ}$ associated with $\mathitΛ$. The integration process is redefined through the introduction of an integral partially ordered set and an abstract integral with variable upper limits. Finally, we present two important applications: (1) the categorification of basic elementary functions, including (anti-)trigonometric and logarithmic functions, and (2) a new approach for characterizing the global dimensions of gentle algebras.

On endomorphism algebras of string almost gentle algebras

For any arbitrary string almost gentle algebra, we consider specific subsets of its quiver's arrow set, denoted by $\mathcal{R}$. For each such $\mathcal{R}$, we introduce the finitely generated module $M_{\mathcal{R}}$ and define its associated $\mathcal{R}$-endomorphism algebra $A_{\mathcal{R}}$. In this paper, we show that the representation type of a string gentle algebra $A$, the representation type of the $\mathcal{R}$-endomorphism algebra $A_{\mathcal{R}}$ for some $\mathcal{R}$, the representation types of all $\mathcal{R}$-algebras, and the representation type of the Cohen-Macaulay Auslander algebra $A^{\mathrm{CMA}}$ of $A$ are equivalent. The results presented here reveal a deep structural connection between different classes of algebras derived from string gentle algebras. By showing the equivalence of representation types, this work offers new insights into the nature of endomorphism algebras and Cohen-Macaulay Auslander algebras, contributing to a broader understanding of their algebraic properties and classification.

The tensorial description of the Auslander algebras of representation-finite string algebras

The aim of this article is to study the Auslander algebra of any representation-finite string algebra. More precisely, we introduce the notion of gluing algebras and show that the Auslander algebra of a representation-finite string algebra is a quotient of a \gluing algebra of $\vec{A}^e_n $. As applications, the Auslander algebras of two classes of string algebras whose quivers are Dynkin types $A$ and $D$ are described. Moreover, the representation types of the above Auslander algebras are also given exactly.

Recollements and Gorenstein projective modules for gentle algebras

Let $A={\rm \mathbb{k}}Q/\mathcal{I}$ be a gentle algebra. We provide a bijection between non-projective indecomposable Gorenstein projective modules over $A$ and special recollements induced by an arrow $a$ on any full-relational oriented cycle $\mathscr{C}$, which satisfies some interesting properties, for example, the tensor functor $-\otimes_A A/A\varepsilon A$ sends Gorenstein projective module $aA$ to an indecomposable projective $A/A\varepsilon A$-module; and $-\otimes_A A/A\varepsilon A$ preserves Gorenstein projective objects if any two full-relational oriented cycles do not have common vertex.

Classification silted algebras for a quiver of Dynkin type $\mathbb{A}_{n}$ via geometric models

Let $\Q$ be the quiver of Dynkin type $\mathbb{A}_n$ with linear orientation and $A_{n}=k\Q$. In this paper, we give a complete classification of the silted algebras of type $A_{n}$ by using the geometric models of gentle algebras. We show that any finite-dimensional algebra is a silted of type $A_{n}$ if and only if it is a tilted of type $A_{n}$ or a tilted algebra of type $A_{m}\times A_{n-m}$ for any positive integer $1\leq m\leq n-1$. Based on the classification, we obtain a formula for computing the number of silted algebras of type $A_{n}$.

Normed modules and The Stieltjes integrations of functions defined on finite-dimensional algebras

We define integrals for functions on finite-dimensional algebras, adapting methods from Leinster's research. This paper discusses the relationships between the integrals of functions defined on subsets $\mathbb{I}_1 \subseteq {\mathitΛ}_1$ and $\mathbb{I}_2 \subseteq {\mathitΛ}_2$ of two finite-dimensional algebras, under the influence of a mapping $ω$, which can be an injection or a bijection. We explore four specific cases: $\bullet$ $ω$ as a monotone non-decreasing and right-continuous function; $\bullet$ $ω$ as an injective, absolutely continuous function; $\bullet$ $ω$ as a bijection; $\bullet$ and $ω$ as the identity on $\mathbb{R}$. These scenarios correspond to the frameworks of Lebesgue-Stieltjes integration, Riemann-Stieltjes integration, substitution rules for Lebesgue integrals, and traditional Lebesgue or Riemann integration, respectively.

On monomial algebras with representation-finite enveloping algebras

The present paper mainly considers the representation type of the enveloping algebra of monomial algebra. Let $A$ be a monomial algebra and $A^e= A\otimes_{\mathrm{l}\!\mathrm{k}} A^{\mathrm{op}}$ its enveloping algebra. It is shown that $A^e$ is representation-finite if and only if $A \cong \pmb{A}_n/\mathrm{rad}^2 \pmb{A}_n$, where $\pmb{A}_n$ is the path algebra $\mathrm{l}\!\mathrm{k}\mathcal{Q}$ with $\mathcal{Q} = 1 \longrightarrow 2 \longrightarrow \cdots \longrightarrow n$. Moreover, we show that the number of all isoclasses of indecomposable $(\pmb{A}_n/ \mathrm{rad}^2\pmb{A}_n)^e$-modules is $\frac{4}{3}n^3 + n^2-\frac{7}{3}n+1$, and classify all indecomposable modules over $(\pmb{A}_n/ \mathrm{rad}^2\pmb{A}_n)^e$. Finally, the Clebsch-Gordon problem over $(\pmb{A}_n/ \mathrm{rad}^2\pmb{A}_n)^e$ is studied.

Constructing projective resolution and taking cohomology for gentle algebras in the geometric model

The geometric models for the module category and derived category of any gentle algebra were introduced to realize the objects in module category and derived category by permissible curves and admissible curves respectively. The present paper firstly unifies these two realizations of objects in module category and derived category via same surface for any gentle algebra, by the rotation of permissible curves corresponding to the objects in the module category. Secondly, the geometric characterization of the cohomology of complexes over gentle algebras is established by the truncation of projective permissible curves. It is worth mentioning that the rotation of permissible curves and the truncation of projective permissible curves are mutually inverse processes to some extent. As applications, an alternative proof of ``no gaps" theorem as to cohomological length for the bounded derived categories of gentle algebras is provided in terms of the geometric characterization of the cohomology of complexes. Moreover, we obtain a geometric proof for the strong Nakayama conjecture for gentle algebras. Finally, we contain two examples to illustrate our results.

The Cohen-Macaulay Auslander algebras of string algebras

The Cohen-Macaulay Auslander algebra of any string algebra is explicitly constructed in this paper. Furthermore, we show that a class of special string algebras, which are called to be string algebras with G-condition, are representation-finite if and only if their Cohen-Macaulay Auslander algebras are representation-finite. Finally, the self-injective dimension of gentle algebras is characterized using their Cohen-Macaulay Auslander algebras.
