Hodge-to-de Rham degeneration and quasihomogeneous singularities of curves

We study the Hodge-to-de Rham spectral sequence for integral projective curves with local complete intersection singularities. We prove that degeneration at the E2-page is equivalent to requiring every singularity to be a quasihomogeneous plane curve singularity. We also show that, in the same local complete intersection setting, the Hochschild-to-cyclic spectral sequence degenerates at the E2-page if and only if the same condition holds

Hodge to de Rham degeneration of nodal curves

We compute the Hochschild and negative cyclic homology of the nodal curves, and we show that the (noncommutative) Hodge to de Rham spectral sequence degenerates at the second page. We also classify all the Hochschild classes that can be lifted to negative cyclic homology. In particular, the result in the nodal cubic curve case is important for computation of categorical enumerative invariants.

Moonshine at Landau-Ginzburg points

We formulate a conjecture predicting unexpected relationships among the coefficients of the elliptic expansions of Klein's modular j-function around j = 0 and j = 1728. Our conjecture is inspired by recent developments in mirror symmetry, in particular by work of Tu computing categorical enumerative invariants of matrix factorization categories and by work of Li-Shen-Zhou computing FJRW invariants of elliptic curves.
