Gibbs measure over the cone of vector-valued discrete measures

We consider a gas whose each particle is characterised by a pair $(x,v_x)$ with the position $x\in \mathbb R^d$ and the velocity $v_x\in \mathbb R^d_0= \mathbb R^d\setminus \{0\}$. We define Gibbs measures on the cone of vector-valued measures and aim to prove their existence. We introduce the family of probability measures $μ_λ$ on the cone $\mathbb K(\mathbb R^d)$. We define local Hamiltonian and partition functions for a positive, symmetric, bounded and measurable pair potential. Using those above, we define Gibbs's measure as a solution to the Dobrushin-Lanford-Ruelle equation. In particular, we focus on the subset of tempered Gibbs measures. To prove the existence of the Gibbs measure, we show that the subset of tempered Gibbs measures is non-empty and relatively compact.

Classical gases with singular densities

We study classical continuous systems with singular distributions of velocities. Radon measures with the infinite mass give these distributions. Positions of particles in such systems are no longer usual configurations in the location space, leading to the necessity of developing new analytical tools to study considered models.

Finite difference calculus in the continuum

The paper describes known and new results about finite difference calculus on configuration spaces. We describe finite difference geometry on configuration spaces, connect finite difference operators with cannonical commutation relations, find explicit form for certain finite difference Markov generators on configuration spaces, and describe spaces of Newton series defined over the configuration spaces.

Analysis on the cone of discrete Radon measures

We study analysis on the cone of discrete Radon measures over a locally compact Polish space $X$. We discuss probability measures on the cone and the corresponding correlation measures and correlation functions on the sub-cone of finite discrete Radon measures over $X$. For this, we consider on the cone an analogue of the harmonic analysis on the configuration space developed in [12]. We also study elements of the difference calculus on the cone: we introduce discrete birth-and-death gradients and study the corresponding Dirichlet forms; finally, we discuss a system of polynomial functions on the cone which satisfy the binomial identity.

Random zeros entire functions

We propose the construction of entire functions with a given random collection of zeros. There are considered two particular cases. In the first one we are dealing with simple zeros. And the second corresponds to random zeros with random multiplicity.

Compound Poisson Processes: Potentials, Green Measures and Random Times

In this paper we study the existence of Green measures for Markov processes with a nonlocal jump generator. The jump generator has no second moment and satisfies a suitable condition on its Fourier transform. We also study the same problem for certain classes of random time changes Markov processes with jump generator.

Diffusion Approximation for Transport Equations with Dissipative Drifts

We study stochastic differential equations(SDEs) with a small perturbation parameter. Under the dissipative condition on the drift coefficient and the local Lipschitz condition on the drift and diffusion coefficients we prove the existence and uniqueness result for the perturbed SDE, also the convergence result for the solution of the perturbed system to the solution of the unperturbed system when the perturbation parameter approaches zero.We consider the application of the above-mentioned results to the Cauchy problem and the transport equations.

Stirling operators in spatial combinatorics

We define and study a spatial (infinite-dimensional) counterpart of Stirling numbers. In classical combinatorics, the Pochhammer symbol $(m)_n$ can be extended from a natural number $m\in\mathbb N$ to the falling factorials $(z)_n=z(z-1)\dotsm (z-n+1)$ of an argument $z$ from $\mathbb F=\mathbb R\text{ or }\mathbb C$, and Stirling numbers of the first and second kinds are the coefficients of the expansions of $(z)_n$ through $z^k$, $k\leq n$ and vice versa. When taking into account spatial positions of elements in a locally compact Polish space $X$, we replace $\mathbb N$ by the space of configurations -- discrete Radon measures $γ=\sum_iδ_{x_i}$ on $X$, where $δ_{x_i}$ is the Dirac measure with mass at $x_i$.The spatial falling factorials $(γ)_n:=\sum_{i_1}\sum_{i_2\ne i_1}\dotsm\sum_{i_n\ne i_1,\dots, i_n\ne i_{n-1}}δ_{(x_{i_1},x_{i_2},\dots,x_{i_n})}$ can be naturally extended to mappings $M^{(1)}(X)\niω\mapsto (ω)_n\in M^{(n)}(X)$, where $M^{(n)}(X)$ denotes the space of $\mathbb F$-valued, symmetric (for $n\ge2$) Radon measures on $X^n$. There is a natural duality between $M^{(n)}(X)$ and the space $\mathcal {CF}^{(n)}(X)$ of $\mathbb F$-valued, symmetric continuous functions on $X^n$ with compact support. The Stirling operators of the first and second kind, $\mathbf{s}(n,k)$ and $\mathbf{S}(n,k)$, are linear operators, acting between spaces $\mathcal {CF}^{(n)}(X)$ and $\mathcal {CF}^{(k)}(X)$ such that their dual operators, acting from $M^{(k)}(X)$ into $M^{(n)}(X)$, satisfy $(ω)_n=\sum_{k=1}^n\mathbf{s}(n,k)^*ω^{\otimes k}$ and $ω^{\otimes n}=\sum_{k=1}^n\mathbf{S}(n,k)^*(ω)_k$, respectively. We derive combinatorial properties of the Stirling operators, present their connections with a generalization of the Poisson point process and with the Wick ordering under the canonical commutation relations.

Asymptotic Behavior of the Subordinated Traveling Waves

In this paper we investigate the long-time behavior of the subordination of the constant speed traveling waves by a general class of kernels. We use the Feller--Karamata Tauberian theorem in order to study the long-time behavior of the upper and lower wave. As a result we obtain the long-time behavior for the propagation of the front of the wave.

Markov dynamics on the cone of discrete Radon measures

We start with a brief overview of the known facts about the spaces of discrete Radon measures those may be considered as generalizations of configuration spaces. Then we study three Markov dynamics on the spaces of discrete Radon measures: analogues of the contact model, of the Bolker--Dieckmann--Law--Pacala model, and of the Glauber-type dynamics. We show how the results obtained previously for the configuration spaces can be modified for the case of the spaces of discrete Radon measures.

Random Time Dynamical Systems I: General Structures

In this paper we introduce the concept of random time changes in dynamical systems. The subordination principle may be applied to study the long time behavior of the random time systems. We show, under certain assumptions on the class of random time, that the subordinated system exhibits a slower time decay which is determined by the random time characteristics. In the path asymptotic a random time change is reflected in the new velocity of the resulting dynamics.

One class of continuous functions related to Engel series and having complicated local properties

We construct and study the class of continuous on $[0, 1]$ functions with continuum set of peculiarities (singular, nowhere monotonic, and non-differentiable functions are among them). The representative of this class is the function defined by the Engel representation of argument and some convergent real series. We study local and global properties of this function: structural, extremal, differential, integral, and fractal properties.

Green Measures for Time Changed Markov Processes

In this paper we study Green measures for certain classes of random time change Markov processes where the random time change are inverse subordinators. We show the existence of the Green measure for these processes under the condition of the existence of the Green measure of the original Markov processes and they coincide. Applications to fractional dynamics in given.

Lattice birth-and-death processes

Lattice birth-and-death Markov dynamics of particle systems with spins from the set of non-negative integers are constructed as unique solutions to certain stochastic equations. Pathwise uniqueness, strong existence, Markov property and joint uniqueness in law are proven, and a martingale characterization of the process is given. Sufficient conditions for the existence of an invariant distribution are formulated in terms of Lyapunov functions. We apply obtained results to discrete analogs of the Bolker--Pacala--Dieckmann--Law model and an aggregation model.

Representations of the Infinite-Dimensional Affine Group

We introduce an infinite-dimensional affine group and construct its irreducible unitary representation. Our approach follows the one used by Vershik, Gelfand and Graev for the diffeomorphism group, but with modifications made necessary by the fact that the group does not act on the phase space. However it is possible to define its action on some classes of functions.
