Application of Artificial Intelligence for Fraudulent Banking Operations Recognition

This study considers the task of applying artificial intelligence to recognize bank fraud. In recent years, due to the COVID19 pandemic, bank fraud has become even more common due to the massive transition of many operations to online platforms and the creation of many charitable funds that criminals can use to deceive users. The present work focuses on machine learning algorithms as a tool well suited for analyzing and recognizing online banking transactions. The study`s scientific novelty is the development of machine learning models for identifying fraudulent banking transactions and techniques for preprocessing bank data for further comparison and selection of the best results. This paper also details various methods for improving detection accuracy, i.e., handling highly imbalanced datasets, feature transformation, and feature engineering. The proposed model, which is based on an artificial neural network, effectively improves the accuracy of fraudulent transaction detection. The results of the different algorithms are visualized, and the logistic regression algorithm performs the best, with an output AUC value of approximately 0,946. The stacked generalization shows a better AUC of 0.954. The recognition of banking fraud using artificial intelligence algorithms is a topical issue in our digital society.

Efficiency of Using Utility for Usernames Verification in Online Community Management

The study deals with the methods and means of checking the reliability of usernames of online communities on the basis of computer-linguistic analysis of the results of their communicative interaction. The methodological basis of the study is a combination of general scientific methods and special approaches to the study of the data verification of online communities in the Ukrainian segment of the global information environment. The algorithm of functioning of the utility Verifier of online community username is developed. The informational model of the automated means of checking the usernames of online community is designed. The utility Verifier of online community username data validation system approbation is realized in the online community. The indicator of the data verification system effectiveness is determined.

The Computer-Linguistic Analysis of Socio-Demographic Profile of Virtual Community Member

This article considers the current problem of investigation and development of computerlinguistic analysis of socio-demographic profile of virtual community member. Webmembers' socio-demographic characteristics' profile validation based on analysis of sociodemographic characteristics. The topicality of the paper is determined by the necessity to identify the web-community member by means of computer-linguistic analysis of their information track. The formal model of basic socio-demographic characteristics of virtual communities' member is formed. The structural model of lingvo-communicative indicators of socio-demographic characteristics of the web-members and common algorithm of the formation of lingvo-communicative indicators based on processing training sample are developed. Types of the computer-linguistic analysis of indicative characteristics are studied and classifications of lingvo-communicative indicators of gender, age and sphere of activities of web-community member is established. Also, the formal model of the basic socio-demographic characteristics of web-communities' member is introduced.

Effect of implementation of improved methods of the life cycle stages organisation to the online community management

This paper presents the current problem of investigation of the effect of implementation of improved methods of the life cycle stages organisation to online community management. The online community life cycle is the sum of the stages of organisation and development of online community. The current approaches of scientific researches of social processes within the WWW are analysed. The types of life cycles are distinguished and implemented in the online community management. The algorithm of life cycle stages of the online community is designed. The total quality of the life cycle stages execution and quality of the life cycle stages execution of Lviv Polytechnic online community from 2013 till 2016. Currently, the appropriate study and development of community management hardware and software provoke the most interest because online communities are a widespread and popular phenomenon, and the existing management software for them is imperfect and not complex.

Verifying the Medical Specialty from User Profile of Online Community for Health-Related Advices

The paper describes the verifying methods of medical specialty from user profile of online community for health-related advices. To avoid critical situations with the proliferation of unverified and inaccurate information in medical online community, it is necessary to develop a comprehensive software solution for verifying the user medical specialty of online community for health-related advices. The algorithm for forming the information profile of a medical online community user is designed. The scheme systems of formation of indicators of user specialization in the profession based on a training sample is presented. The method of forming the user information profile of online community for healthrelated advices by computer-linguistic analysis of the information content is suggested. The system of indicators based on a training sample of users in medical online communities is formed. The matrix of medical specialties indicators and method of determining weight coefficients these indicators is investigated. The proposed method of verifying the medical specialty from user profile is tested in online medical community.

The verification of virtual community members socio-demographic profile

This article considers the current problem of investigation and development of the method of web-members' socio-demographic characteristics' profile validation based on analysis of socio-demographic characteristics. The topicality of the paper is determined by the necessity to identify the web-community member by means of computer-linguistic analysis of their information track (all information about web-community members, which posted on the Internet). The formal model of basic socio-demographic characteristics of virtual communities' member is formed. The algorithm of these characteristics verification is developed.
