EgoSteer: A Full-Stack System Towards Steerable Dexterous Manipulation from Egocentric Videos

Steerability is a defining capability of generalist robot policies, yet remains largely absent in dexterous-hand systems for lack of large-scale, language-aligned, and action-accurate demonstration data. To address this bottleneck, we present a full-stack system that scales dexterous VLA pre-training from egocentric human videos and enables data-efficient real-robot post-training. It integrates EgoSmith, a data pipeline that curates in-the-wild egocentric videos into 9.6K hours of high-quality pre-training data with 9x higher throughput and better accuracy than prior SOTA; a unified robot stack for teleoperation and human-in-the-loop correction; and EgoSteer, a world-model-enhanced VLA trained on optimized infrastructure. Human-data pre-training equips EgoSteer with language-guided manipulation priors, which are grounded through robot post-training and improved by DAgger refinement. Empirically, EgoSteer robustly executes free-form instructions across 40+ diverse tasks, demonstrating failure recovery, dexterity, and generalization. The pre-trained model also few-shot adapts to complex long-horizon tasks, including box folding, on two embodiments with 75+% success. We open-source the system, data, and model at https://egosteer.github.io/.

DexGraspVLA: A Vision-Language-Action Framework Towards General Dexterous Grasping

Dexterous grasping remains a fundamental yet challenging problem in robotics. A general-purpose robot must be capable of grasping diverse objects in arbitrary scenarios. However, existing research typically relies on restrictive assumptions, such as single-object settings or limited environments, showing constrained generalization. We present DexGraspVLA, a hierarchical framework for robust generalization in language-guided general dexterous grasping and beyond. It utilizes a pre-trained Vision-Language model as the high-level planner and learns a diffusion-based low-level Action controller. The key insight to achieve generalization lies in iteratively transforming diverse language and visual inputs into domain-invariant representations via foundation models, where imitation learning can be effectively applied due to the alleviation of domain shift. Notably, our method achieves a 90+% dexterous grasping success rate under thousands of challenging unseen cluttered scenes. Empirical analysis confirms the consistency of internal model behavior across environmental variations, validating our design. DexGraspVLA also, for the first time, simultaneously demonstrates free-form long-horizon prompt execution, robustness to adversarial objects and human disturbance, and failure recovery. Extended application to nonprehensile grasping further proves its generality. Project website: https://dexgraspvla.github.io.

ARO: Large Language Model Supervised Robotics Text2Skill Autonomous Learning

Robotics learning highly relies on human expertise and efforts, such as demonstrations, design of reward functions in reinforcement learning, performance evaluation using human feedback, etc. However, reliance on human assistance can lead to expensive learning costs and make skill learning difficult to scale. In this work, we introduce the Large Language Model Supervised Robotics Text2Skill Autonomous Learning (ARO) framework, which aims to replace human participation in the robot skill learning process with large-scale language models that incorporate reward function design and performance evaluation. We provide evidence that our approach enables fully autonomous robot skill learning, capable of completing partial tasks without human intervention. Furthermore, we also analyze the limitations of this approach in task understanding and optimization stability.

Super-Resolving Compressed Video in Coding Chain

Scaling and lossy coding are widely used in video transmission and storage. Previous methods for enhancing the resolution of such videos often ignore the inherent interference between resolution loss and compression artifacts, which compromises perceptual video quality. To address this problem, we present a mixed-resolution coding framework, which cooperates with a reference-based DCNN. In this novel coding chain, the reference-based DCNN learns the direct mapping from low-resolution (LR) compressed video to their high-resolution (HR) clean version at the decoder side. We further improve reconstruction quality by devising an efficient deformable alignment module with receptive field block to handle various motion distances and introducing a disentangled loss that helps networks distinguish the artifact patterns from texture. Extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of proposed innovations by comparing with state-of-the-art single image, video and reference-based restoration methods.
