Non-rational su(2) cosets and Liouville field theory

We propose an su(2) WZNW model with a non-rational level and a continuous spectrum based on the non-unitary hermitian representations of the chiral algebra su(2)_k. It is conjectured that for this model the continuous spectra counterpart of the Goddard-Kent-Olive (GKO) coset construction yields the Liouville and the imaginary Liouville field theories. We support the conjecture by a number of nontrivial tests based on analytic calculations.

Super-Liouville - Double Liouville correspondence

The AGT motivated relation between the tensor product of the N = 1 super-Liouville field theory with the imaginary free fermion (SL) and a certain projected tensor product of the real and the imaginary Liouville field theories (LL) is analyzed. Using conformal field theory techniques we give a complete proof of the equivalence in the NS sector. It is shown that the SL-LL correspondence is based on the equivalence of chiral objects including suitably chosen chiral structure constants of all the three Liouville theories involved.

Whittaker pairs for the Virasoro algebra and the Gaiotto - BMT states

In this paper we analyze Whittaker modules for two families of Wittaker pairs related to the subalgebras of the Virasoro algebra generated by L_r,..., L_{2r} and L_1,L_n. The structure theorems for the corresponding universal Whittaker modules are proved and some of their consequences are derived. All the Gaiotto {arXiv:0908.0307} and the Bonelli-Maruyoshi-Tanzini {arXiv:1112.1691} states in an arbitrary Virasoro algebra Verma module are explicitly constructed.

Braiding properties of the N=1 super-conformal blocks (Ramond sector)

Using a super scalar field representation of the chiral vertex operators we develop a general method of calculating braiding matrices for all types of N=1 super-conformal 4-point blocks involving Ramond external weights. We give explicit analytic formulae in a number of cases.

Proving the AGT relation for N_f = 0,1,2 antifundamentals

Using recursive relations satisfied by Nekrasov partition functions and by irregular conformal blocks we prove the AGT correspondence in the case of N=2 superconformal SU(2) quiver gauge theories with N_f = 0,1,2 antifundamental hypermultiplets

Recursive representation of the torus 1-point conformal block

The recursive relation for the 1-point conformal block on a torus is derived and used to prove the identities between conformal blocks recently conjectured by R. Poghossian. As an illustration of the efficiency of the recurrence method the modular invariance of the 1-point Liouville correlation function is numerically analyzed.

Modular bootstrap in Liouville field theory

The modular matrix for the generic 1-point conformal blocks on the torus is expressed in terms of the fusion matrix for the 4-point blocks on the sphere. The modular invariance of the toric 1-point functions in the Liouville field theory with DOZZ structure constants is proved.

Conformal blocks related to the R-R states in the \hat c =1 SCFT

We derive an explicit form of a family of four-point Neveu-Schwarz blocks with $\hat c =1,$ external weights $Δ_i = 1/8$ and arbitrary intermediate weight. The derivation is based on a set of identities obeyed in the free superscalar theory by correlation functions of fields satisfying Ramond condition with respect to the bosonic (dimension 1) and the fermionic (dimension 1/2) currents.

Recursion representation of the Neveu-Schwarz superconformal block

Four-point super-conformal blocks for the N = 1 Neveu-Schwarz algebra are defined in terms of power series of the even super-projective invariant. Coefficients of these expansions are represented both as sums over poles in the "intermediate" conformal weight and as sums over poles in the central charge of the algebra. The residua of these poles are calculated in both cases. Closed recurrence relations for the block coefficients are derived.

Liouville theory and uniformization of four-punctured sphere

Few years ago Zamolodchikov and Zamolodchikov proposed an expression for the 4-point classical Liouville action in terms of the 3-point actions and the classical conformal block. In this paper we develop a method of calculating the uniformizing map and the uniformizing group from the classical Liouville action on n-punctured sphere and discuss the consequences of Zamolodchikovs conjecture for an explicit construction of the uniformizing map and the uniformizing group for the sphere with four punctures.

Semiclassical limit of the FZZT Liouville theory

The semiclassical limit of the FZZT Liouville theory on the upper half plane with bulk operators of arbitrary type and with elliptic boundary operators is analyzed. We prove the Polyakov conjecture for an appropriate classical Liouville action. This action is calculated in a number of cases: one bulk operator of arbitrary type, one bulk and one boundary, and two boundary elliptic operators. The results are in agreement with the classical limits of the corresponding quantum correlators.

Classical geometry from the quantum Liouville theory

Zamolodchikov's recursion relations are used to analyze the existence and approximations to the classical conformal block in the case of four parabolic weights. Strong numerical evidence is found that the saddle point momenta arising in the classical limit of the DOZZ quantum Liouville theory are simply related to the geodesic length functions of the hyperbolic geometry on the 4-punctured Riemann sphere. Such relation provides new powerful methods for both numerical and analytical calculations of these functions. The consistency conditions for the factorization of the 4-point classical Liouville action in different channels are numerically verified. The factorization yields efficient numerical methods to calculate the 4-point classical action and, by the Polyakov conjecture, the accessory parameters of the Fuchsian uniformization of the 4-punctured sphere.

Classical Liouville action on the sphere with three hyperbolic singularities

The classical solution to the Liouville equation in the case of three hyperbolic singularities of its energy-momentum tensor is derived and analyzed. The recently proposed classical Liouville action is explicitly calculated in this case. The result agrees with the classical limit of the three point function in the DOZZ solution of the quantum Liouville theory.
