Ranks of Commutators and Generalized Semicommutators of Quasihomogeneous Toeplitz Operators

We study the ranks of commutators and generalized semicommutators of Toeplitz operators with quasihomogeneous symbols on both the harmonic Bergman space and the Bergman Space. In particular, when one of quasihomogeneous symbols is the the form of $e^{ikθ}r^{m}$, we first obtain specific sufficient and necessary conditions for commutators and generalized semicommutators to be finite rank. Then we make further efforts to determine the range of each finite rank commutator and generalized semicommutators, and consequently the explicit canonical form and the rank are obtained. Thus, the finite rank problem of commutators and generalized semicommutators of such special Toeplitz operators is completely solved. As applications, several interesting corollaries and nontrivial examples are given. Also, we show close connections of the finite rank problem between the harmonic Bergman space and Bergman space cases.

Spectra of some invertible weighted composition operators on Hardy and weighted Bergman spaces in the unit ball

In this paper, we investigate the spectra of invertible weighted composition operators with automorphism symbols, on Hardy space $H^2(\mathbb{B}_N)$ and weighted Bergman spaces $A_α^2(\mathbb{B}_N)$, where $\mathbb{B}_N$ is the unit ball of the $N$-dimensional complex space. By taking $N=1$, $\mathbb{B}_N=\mathbb{D}$ the unit disc, we also complete the discussion about the spectrum of a weighted composition operator when it is invertible on $H^2(\mathbb{D})$ or $A_α^2(\mathbb{D})$.

Estimates of essential norms of weighted composition operator from Bloch type spaces to Zygmund type spaces

Let $u$ be a holomorphic function and $φ$ a holomorphic self-map of the open unit disk $\mathbb{D}$ in the complex plane. We give some new characterizations for the boundedness of the weighted composition operators $uC_φ$ from Bloch type spaces to Zygmund type spaces in $\mathbb{D}$ in terms of $u, φ$, their derivatives and the $n$-th power $φ^n$ of $φ$. Moreover, we obtain some similar estimates for their essential norms. From which the sufficient and necessary conditions of compactness of the operators $uC_φ$ follows immediately.

Compact differences of composition operators from Bloch space to bounded holomorphic function space in the Polydisc

Let $ϕ$ and $ψ$ be holomorphic self-maps of the unit polydisc $U^n$ in the $n$-dimensional complex space, and denote by $C_ϕ$ and $C_ψ$ the induced composition operators. This paper gives some simple estimates of the essential norm for the difference of composition operators $C_ϕ-C_ψ$ from Bloch space to bounded holomorphic function space in the unit polydisc. Moreover the compactness of the difference is also characterized.

Essential Norms of Weighted Composition Operators between Hardy Spaces in the unit Ball

Let $ϕ(z)=(ϕ_1(z),...,ϕ_n(z))$ be a holomorphic self-map of $B_n$ and $ψ(z)$ a holomorphic function on $B_n$, and $H(B_n)$ the class of all holomorphic functions on $B_n$, where $B_n$ is the unit ball of $C^n$, the weight composition operator $W_{ψ,ϕ}$ is defined by $W_{ψ,ϕ}=ψf(ϕ)$ for $f\in H(B_n)$. In this paper we estimate the essential norm for the weighted composition operator $W_{ψ,ϕ}$ acting from the Hardy space $H^p$ to $H^q$ ($0<p,q\leq \infty$). When $p=\infty$ and $q=2$, we give an exact formula for the essential norm. As their applications, we also obtain some sufficient and necessary conditions for the bounded weighted composition operator to be compact from $H^p$ to $H^q$.

Extended Ces$\acute{a}$RO Operators on Zygmund Spaces in the Unit Ball

Let $g$ be a holomorphic function of the unit ball $B$ in the $n$-dimensional space, and denote by $T_g$ and $I_g$ the induced extended Ces$\acute{a}$ro operator and another integral operator. The boundedness and compactness of $T_g$ and $I_g$ acting on the Zygmund spaces in the unit ball are discussed and necessary and sufficient conditions are given in this paper.
