AutoPoster: A Highly Automatic and Content-aware Design System for Advertising Poster Generation

Advertising posters, a form of information presentation, combine visual and linguistic modalities. Creating a poster involves multiple steps and necessitates design experience and creativity. This paper introduces AutoPoster, a highly automatic and content-aware system for generating advertising posters. With only product images and titles as inputs, AutoPoster can automatically produce posters of varying sizes through four key stages: image cleaning and retargeting, layout generation, tagline generation, and style attribute prediction. To ensure visual harmony of posters, two content-aware models are incorporated for layout and tagline generation. Moreover, we propose a novel multi-task Style Attribute Predictor (SAP) to jointly predict visual style attributes. Meanwhile, to our knowledge, we propose the first poster generation dataset that includes visual attribute annotations for over 76k posters. Qualitative and quantitative outcomes from user studies and experiments substantiate the efficacy of our system and the aesthetic superiority of the generated posters compared to other poster generation methods.

Searches for dark matter via charged Higgs pair production in the Inert Doublet Model at $\gamma\gamma$ collider

The Inert Doublet Model(IDM) is one of the simplest extensions beyond Standard Model(SM) with an extended scalar sector, which provide a scalar dark matter particle candidate. In this paper, we investigate the double charged Higgs production at $\gamma\gamma$ collider. By scanning the whole parameter space, we obtain the parameter points corresponding to the correct relic abundance of dark matter. After applying all theoretical and experimental constraints, the parameter space for the existence of dark matter is extremely restricted. We perform the analysis for the signal of $H^+H^-$ production in the IDM and the SM backgrounds, and the optimized selection conditions are chosen in kinematic variables to maximize signal significance. Comparing signal with backgrounds, we obtain the parameter points which can be detected at future $\gamma\gamma$ collider experiments.

Probing the charm-Higgs Yukawa coupling via Higgs boson decay to $h_c$ plus a photon

In this paper, we investigate the decay of Higgs boson to $h_c$ plus a photon in the NRQCD theoretical framework. Comparing with the Higgs decay to $J/\psi$ plus a photon channel, this process has not indirect contribution, can be used to detect the Yukawa coupling of Higgs and charm quarks. The results show that the decay branch ratio of this process is about $10^{-8}$. If we takes into account the $10^{-3}$ efficiency in the $h_c$ detection, no events will be available even in the case of $30ab^{-1}$ luminosity at FCC-pp with 100 TeV center of mass energy. However, if the detection efficiency of $h_c$ is greatly improved in the future, this process will play an important role at linear $e^+e^-$ future colliders and at LHCb. Moreover, this process should be also play an important role when the anomalous charm Yukawa couplings are larger and direct sensitivity.

Photoproduction of the double $J/\psi$ ($\Upsilon$) at the LHC with forward proton tagging

We calculate the photoproduction of double $J/\psi$ ($\Upsilon$) to leading order based on the nonrelativistic quantum chromodynamics factorization framework at the Large Hadron Collider with forward proton tagging. The numerical results of double $J/\psi$ photoproduction pp $\rightarrow$ p$\gamma$p $\rightarrow$ $J/\psi$ + $J/\psi$ with different forward detector acceptances ($\xi$) are presented. The total cross section of double $J/\psi$ photoproduction is less than 200 fb with 0.1 $<$ $\xi$ $<$ 0.5, but can reach about 1.37(1.27) pb with 0.0015 $<$ $\xi$ $<$ 0.5 ( 0.0015 $<$ $\xi$ $<$ 0.15 ). The double $J/\psi$ photoproduction may have the potential to be detected and provide an interesting signature, thus is useful for studying the mechanism of heavy quarkonium production. We also predict the double $\Upsilon$ photoproduction and find they are, unfortunately, small (with less than 10 fb).

Higher-Order QCD prediction for dark matter pair associated with a b-jet production at the LHC

Dark matter associated visible particle production at high energy colliders provides a unique way to determine the microscopic properties of the dark matter. We investigate a pair of fermionic dark matter particles associated with a b-jet production at the LHC, through a mediator which couples to standard model or dark matter particles via either a vector or axial-vector coupling. The calculation is performed by implementing these simplified models in the FeynRules/MadGraph5 aMC@NLO framework. In our calculation, next-to-leading order QCD corrections and parton-shower effects are considered. We find that this process has a sizeable cross section and the QCD correction can reach more than 2 times than LO results. We also investigate the discovery potential in several benchmark scenarios at the 13TeV LHC.

Precision study on $ZZ\gamma$ production including $Z$-boson leptonic decays at the ILC

We report on the precision predictions for the $e^+e^-\to ZZ\gamma$ process including $Z$-boson leptonic decays at the ILC in the standard model (SM). The calculation includes the full next-to-leading (NLO) electroweak (EW) corrections and high order initial state radiation (h.o.ISR) contributions. We find that the NLO EW corrections heavily suppress the LO cross section, and the h.o.ISR effects are notable near the threshold while become small in high energy region. We present the LO and the NLO EW+h.o.ISR corrected distributions of the transverse momenta of final $Z$-boson and photon as well as the $Z$-pair invariant mass, and investigate the corresponding NLO EW and h.o.ISR relative corrections. We also study the leptonic decays of the final $Z$-boson pair by adopting the {\sc MadSpin} method where the spin correlation effect is involved. We conclude that both the h.o.ISR effects and the NLO EW corrections are important in exploring the $ZZ\gamma$ production at the ILC.

NLO QCD and EW corrections to $WW$+jet production with leptonic $W$-boson decays at LHC

We present the complete next-to-leading order (NLO) QCD and NLO electroweak (EW) corrections to the $W$-boson pair production associated with a hard jet at the LHC including the spin correlated $W$-boson leptonic decays. The dependence of the leading order (LO) and NLO corrected cross sections on the jet transverse momentum cut is investigated. In dealing with the subsequent resonant $W$-boson decays, we adopt the {\sc MadSpin} method where the spin correlation effect is included. We also provide the LO and NLO corrected distributions of the transverse momenta and rapidities of final products. The results show that the NLO EW correction is significant in high transverse momentum region due to the EW Sudakov effect.

NLO QCD + NLO EW corrections to $WZZ$ productions with leptonic decays at the LHC

Precision tests of the Standard Model (SM) require not only accurate experiments, but also precise and reliable theoretical predictions. Triple vector boson production provides a unique opportunity to investigate the quartic gauge couplings and check the validity of the gauge principle in the SM. Since the tree-level predictions alone are inadequate to meet this demand, the next-to-leading order (NLO) calculation becomes compulsory. In this paper, we calculate the NLO QCD + NLO electroweak (EW) corrections to the $W^{\pm}ZZ$ productions with subsequent leptonic decays at the $14~{\rm TeV}$ LHC by adopting an improved narrow width approximation which takes into account the off-shell contributions and spin correlations from the $W^{\pm}$- and $Z$-boson leptonic decays. The NLO QCD+EW corrected integrated cross sections for the $W^{\pm}ZZ$ productions and some kinematic distributions of final products are provided. The results show that both the NLO QCD and NLO EW corrections are significant. In the jet-veto event selection scheme with $p_{T,jet}^{cut} = 50~ {\rm GeV}$, the NLO QCD+EW relative corrections to the integrated cross section are $20.5\%$ and $31.1\%$, while the genuine NLO EW relative corrections are $-5.42\%$ and $-4.58\%$, for the $W^+ZZ$ and $W^-ZZ$ productions, respectively. We also investigate the theoretical dependence of the integrated cross section on the factorization/renormalization scale, and find that the scale uncertainty is underestimated at the LO due to the fact that the strong coupling $\alpha_s$ is not involved in the LO matrix elements.

Electroweak radiative corrections to $W^+W^-\gamma$ production at the ILC

We provide and discuss the precision predictions for the $W^+W^-\gamma$ production at the ILC including the full electroweak (EW) one-loop corrections and high order initial state radiation (ISR) contributions in the Standard Model. The dependence of the leading order (LO) and EW corrected cross sections on the colliding energy is investigated. We find that the EW correction suppresses the LO cross section significantly, and the ISR effect beyond ${\cal O}(\alpha)$ is important near the threshold, but is negligible in the high energy region. We provide the LO and EW corrected distributions of the transverse momenta and rapidities of final $W^-$-boson and photon as well as the $W$-pair invariant mass. From the various kinematic distributions, we find that EW correction strongly depends on the final state phase space. We investigate the leptonic decays of the final W-boson pair by adopting the narrow width approximation (NWA), and find that the final produced photon and leptons can be well separated from each other.

QCD NLO and EW NLO corrections to $t\bar{t}H$ production with top quark decays at hadron collider

Higgs boson production associated with a top quark pair is an important process in studying the nature of the newly discovered Higgs boson at the LHC. In this letter, we report on our calculations including the next-to-leading order (NLO) QCD and NLO electroweak corrections to the $pp\to t\bar{t}H$ process in the standard model. We present the integrated cross sections at the $14~{\rm TeV}$ LHC and even at the future proton-proton colliders with $\sqrt{s}=33$ and $100~{\rm TeV}$. Our calculation includes the top quark subsequent decays by adopting the narrow width approximation. The kinematic distributions of Higgs boson and top quark decay products at the LHC are provided. We find that the ${\cal O}(\alpha_s^2\alpha_{ew}^2)$ corrections are quantitatively comparable with the ${\cal O}(\alpha_s^3\alpha_{ew})$ corrections in some kinematic region.

Possible effects of the large extra dimensions on $ZZW$ production at the LHC

We investigate the possible large extra dimensions (LED) effects induced by the Kaluza-Klein gravitons up to the QCD next-to-leading order (NLO) on $ZZW$ production at the large hadron collider (LHC). The integrated cross sections and some kinematic distributions are presented in both the standard model (SM) and the LED model. The numerical results demonstrate that the NLO QCD corrections are sizeable and remarkably reduce the leading order (LO) LED effect depending strongly on the phase space. The NLO LED relative discrepancies of the total cross section could become sizable for the $ZZW$ production, if we apply proper event selection criteria. We find that the LO result overestimates the LED effect and is insufficient to provide a believable theoretical prediction.

Diphoton plus $Z$ production at the ILC at ${\cal O}(\alpha^4)$

Precision measurement for the production of a $Z$-boson in association with two photons is important for investigating the Higgs boson and exploring new physics at the International Linear Collider. It could be used to study the $ZZ\gamma\gamma$ anomalous quartic gauge coupling. In this work we report on our calculation of the full ${\cal O} (\alpha^4)$ contributions to the $e^+e^- \to Z \gamma\gamma $ process in the standard model, and we analyze the electroweak (EW) quantum effects on the total cross section. We investigate the dependence of the $Z\gamma\gamma$ production rate on the event selection scheme and provide distributions for some important kinematic observables. We find that the next-to-leading order (NLO) EW corrections can enhance the total cross section quantitatively from $2.32\%$ to $9.61\%$ when the colliding energy goes up from $250 GeV$ to $1 TeV$, and the NLO EW corrections show obviously a non trivial phase space dependence. We conclude that in studying the signal process $e^+e^- \to ZH \to Z \gamma\gamma $, the background process $e^+e^- \to Z \gamma\gamma $ can be suppressed significantly if we take appropriate kinematic cuts on the final products.

QCD correction to gluino decay to $t\bar{t}\tilde{\chi}^0_1$ in the MSSM

We calculate the complete next-to-leading order QCD corrections to the three-body decay of gluino into top-pair associated with a lightest neutralino in the minimal supersymmetric standard model. We obtain that the LO and NLO QCD corrected decay widths of $\tilde{g} \to t \bar{t} \tilde{\chi}_1^0$ at the ${\rm SPS 6}$ benchmark point are $0.1490 GeV$ and 0.1069 GeV respectively, and the relative correction is -28.2%. We investigate the dependence of the QCD correction to $\tilde{g} \to t \bar{t} \tilde{\chi}_1^0$ on $\tan\beta$ and the masses of gluino, scalar top quarks and the lightest neutralino around the ${\rm SPS6}$ benchmark point, separately. We find that the NLO QCD corrections suppress the LO decay width, and the absolute relative correction can exceed 30% in some parameter space. Therefore, the QCD corrections to the three-body decay $\tilde{g} \to t\bar{t}\tilde{\chi}^0_1$ should be taken into account for the precise experimental measurement at future colliders. Moreover, we study the distributions of the top-pair invariant mass ($M_{t\bar t}$) and the missing energy ($E^{miss}$), and find that the line shapes of the LO distributions of $M_{t\bar t}$ and $E^{miss}$ are not obviously distorted by the NLO QCD corrections.

Quasinormal modes of Dirac field perturbation in Reissner-Nordström black hole surrounded by quintessence

The dirac quasinormal modes of the Reissner-Nordström black hole surrounded by quintessence are investigated using the third WKB approximation. We find that the magnitude of the imaginary part of the quasinormal mode frequencies increases firstly and then decreases as the charge $Q$ increases, but it decreases as the absolute value of $w_{q}$ increases. The magnitude of the imaginary part of quasinormal complex frequencies is smaller than those with no quintessence. That is to say, the dirac field damps more slowly due to the presence of quintessence.

A multilateral filtering method applied to airplane runway image

By considering the features of the airport runway image filtering, an improved bilateral filtering method was proposed which can remove noise with edge preserving. Firstly the steerable filtering decomposition is used to calculate the sub-band parameters of 4 orients, and the texture feature matrix is then obtained from the sub-band local median energy. The texture similar, the spatial closer and the color similar functions are used to filter the image. The effect of the weighting function parameters is qualitatively analyzed also. In contrast with the standard bilateral filter and the simulation results for the real airport runway image show that the multilateral filtering is more effective than the standard bilateral filtering.
