A new Young wall realization of $B(λ)$ and $B(\infty)$

Using new combinatorics of Young walls, we give a new construction of the arbitrary level highest weight crystal $B(λ)$ for the quantum affine algebras of types $A^{(2)}_{2n}$, $D^{(2)}_{n+1}$, $A^{(2)}_{2n-1}$, $D^{(1)}_n$, $B^{(1)}_n$ and $C^{(1)}_n$. We show that the crystal consisting of reduced Young walls is isomorphic to the crystal $B(λ)$. Moreover, we provide a new realization of the crystal $B(\infty)$ in terms of reduced virtual Young walls and reduced extended Young walls.

Geometric Approach to I-Quantum Group of Affine Type D

In this paper, we study the structures of Schur algebra and Lusztig algebra associated to partial flag varieties of affine type D. We show that there is a subalgebra of Lusztig algebra and the quantum groups arising from this subalgebras via stabilization procedures is a coideal subalgebra of quantum group of affine $\mathfrak{sl}$ type. We construct monomial and canonical bases of the idempotented quantum algebra and establish the positivity properties of the canonical basis with respect to multiplication and the bilinear pairing.

Affine flag varieties of type D

The Hecke algebras and quantum group of affine type A admit geometric realizations in terms of complete flags and partial flags over a local field, respectively. Subsequently, it is demonstrated that the quantum group associated to partial flag varieties of affine type C is a coideal subalgebra of quantum group of affine type A. In this paper, we establish a lattice presentation of the complete (partial) flag varieties of affine type D. Additionally, we determine the structures of convolution algebra associated to complete flag varieties of affine type D, which is isomorphic to the (extended) affine Hecke algebra. We also show that there exists a monomial basis and a canonical basis of the convolution algebra, and establish the positivity properties of the canonical basis with respect to multiplication.

Differential operator approach to $\imath$quantum groups and their oscillator representations

For a quasi-split Satake diagram, we define a modified $q$-Weyl algebra, and show that there is an algebra homomorphism between it and the corresponding $\imath$quantum group. In other words, we provide a differential operator approach to $\imath$quantum groups. Meanwhile, the oscillator representations of $\imath$quantum groups are obtained. The crystal basis of the irreducible subrepresentations of these oscillator representations are constructed.

Differential operator realization of braid group action on $\imath$quantum groups

We construct a unique braid group action on modified $q$-Weyl algebra $\mathbf A_q(S)$. Under this action, we give a realization of the braid group action on quasi-split $\imath$quantum groups $^{\imath}\mathbf U(S)$ of type $\mathrm{AIII}$. Furthermore, we directly construct a unique braid group action on polynomial ring $\mathbb P$ which is compatible with the braid group action on $\mathbf A_q(S)$ and $^{\imath}\mathbf U(S)$.

Fundamental Limitations on Communication over a Quantum Network

Entanglement, a fundamental feature of quantum mechanics, has long been recognized as a valuable resource in enabling secure communications and surpassing classical limits. However, previous research has primarily concentrated on static entangled states generated at a single point in time, overlooking the crucial role of the quantum dynamics responsible for creating such states. Here, we propose a framework for investigating entanglement across multiple time points, termed temporal entanglement, and demonstrate that the performance of a quantum network in transmitting information is inherently dependent on its temporal entanglement. Through case studies, we showcase the capabilities of our framework in enhancing conventional quantum teleportation and achieving exponential performance growth in the protocol of quantum repeaters. Additionally, our framework effectively doubles the communication distance in certain noise models. Our results address the longstanding question surrounding temporal entanglement within non-Markovian processes and its impact on quantum communication, thereby pushing the frontiers of quantum information science.

Young wall construction of level-1 highest weight crystals over $U_q(D_4^{(3)})$ and $U_q(G_2^{(1)})$

With the help of path realization and affine energy function, we give a Young wall construction of level-1 highest weight crystals $B(λ)$ over $U_{q}(G_{2}^{(1)})$ and $U_{q}(D_{4}^{(3)})$. Our construction is based on four different shapes of colored blocks, $\mathbf O$-block, $\mathbf I$-block, $\mathbf L$-block and $\mathbf{LL}$-block, obtained by cutting the unit cube in three different ways.

The knot invariant associated to two-parameter quantum algebras

Using the skew-Hopf pairing, we obtain $\mathcal{R}$-matrix for the two-parameter quantum algebra $U_{v,t}$. We further construct a strict monoidal functor $\mathcal{T}$ from the tangle category $(\mathrm{OTa},\otimes, \emptyset)$ to the category $(\mathrm{Mod},\otimes, \mathbb{Q}(v,t))$ of $U_{v,t}$-modules . As a consequence, the quantum knot invariant of the tangle $L$ of type $(n,n)$ is obtained by the action of $\mathcal{T}$ on the closure $\tilde{L}$ of $L$.

Braid group actions of quantum Borcherds-Bozec algebras

In this paper, we construct the Lusztig symmetries for quantum Borcherds-Bozec algebra $U_q(\mathscr g)$ and its weight module $M\in \mathcal O$, on which the generators with real indices of $U_q(\mathscr g)$ act nilpotently. We show that these symmetries satisfy the defining relations of the braid group, associated to the Weyl group $W$ of $U_q(\mathscr g)$, which gives a braid group action.

Abstract crystals for quantum Borcherds-Bozec algebras

In this paper, we develop the theory of abstract crystals for quantum Borcherds-Bozec algebras. Our construction is different from the one given by Bozec. We further prove the crystal embedding theorem and provide a characterization of ${B}(\infty)$ and ${B}(λ)$ as its application, where ${B}(\infty)$ and ${B}(λ)$ are the crystals of the negative half part of the quantum Borcherds-Bozec algebra $U_q(\mathfrak g)$ and its irreducible highest weight module $V(λ)$, respectively.

Classical limit of quantum Borcherds-Bozec algebras

Let $\mathfrak{g}$ be a Borcherds-Bozec algebra, $U(\mathfrak{g})$ be its universal enveloping algebra and $U_{q}(\mathfrak{g})$ be the corresponding quantum Borcherds-Bozec algebra. We show that the classical limit of $U_{q}(\mathfrak{g})$ is isomorphic to $U(\mathfrak{g})$ as Hopf algebras. Thus $U_{q}(\mathfrak{g})$ can be regarded as a quantum deformation of $U(\mathfrak{g})$. We also give explicit formulas for the commutation relations among the generators of $U_{q}(\mathfrak{g})$.

Affine Hecke algebras and quantum symmetric pairs

We introduce an affine Schur algebra via the affine Hecke algebra associated to Weyl group of affine type C. We establish multiplication formulas on the affine Hecke algebra and affine Schur algebra. Then we construct monomial bases and canonical bases for the affine Schur algebra. The multiplication formula allows us to establish a stabilization property of the family of affine Schur algebras that leads to the modified version of an algebra ${\mathbf K}^{\mathfrak c}_n$. We show that ${\mathbf K}^{\mathfrak c}_n$ is a coideal subalgebra of quantum affine algebra ${\bf U}(\hat{\mathfrak{gl}}_n)$, and $\big({\mathbf U}(\hat{ \mathfrak{gl}}_n), {\mathbf K}^{\mathfrak c}_n)$ forms a quantum symmetric pair. The modified coideal subalgebra is shown to admit monomial and stably canonical bases. We also formulate several variants of the affine Schur algebra and the (modified) coideal subalgebra above, as well as their monomial and canonical bases. This work provides a new and algebraic approach which complements and sheds new light on our previous geometric approach on the subject. In the appendix by four of the authors, new length formulas for the Weyl groups of affine classical types are obtained in a symmetrized fashion.

Drinfeld double of deformed quantum algebras

We provide a deformation, $\mathfrak{f}_β$, of Lusztig algebra $\mathbf{f}$. Various quantum algebras in literatures, including half parts of two-parameter quantum algebras, quantum superalgebras, and multi-parameter quantum algebras/superalgebras, are all specializations of $\mathfrak{f}_β$. Moreover, $\mathfrak{f}_β$ is isomorphic to Lusztig algebra $\mathbf{f}$ up to a twist. As a consequence, half parts of those quantum algebras are isomorphic to Lusztig algebra $\mathbf{f}$ over a big enough ground field up to certain twists. We further construct the entire algebra $\mathbf U_{β,ξ}$ by Drinfeld double construction. As special cases, above quantum algebras all admit a Drinfeld double construction under certain assumptions.

Equivariant K-theory approach to $\imath$-quantum groups

Various constructions for quantum groups have been generalized to $\imath$-quantum groups. Such generalization is called $\imath$-program. In this paper, we fill one of parts in the $\imath$-program. Namely, we provide an equivariant K-theory approach to $\imath$-quantum groups associated to the Satake diagram in \eqref{eq1}, which is the Langlands dual picture of that constructed in \cite{BKLW14}, where a geometric realization of the $\imath$-quantum group is provided by using perverse sheaves. As an application of the main results, we prove Li's conjecture \cite{L18} for the special cases with the satake diagram in \eqref{eq1}.

Affine flag varieties and quantum symmetric pairs, II. Multiplication formula

We establish a multiplication formula for a tridiagonal standard basis element in the idempotented coideal subalgebras of quantum affine $\mathfrak{gl}_n$ arising from the geometry of affine partial flag varieties of type $C$. We apply this formula to obtain the stabilization algebras $\dot{\mathbf K}^{\mathfrak{c}}_n$, $\dot{\mathbf K}^{\jmath \imath}_{\mathfrak{n}}$, $\dot{\mathbf K}^{\imath \jmath}_{\mathfrak{n}}$ and $\dot{\mathbf K}^{\imath \imath}_η$, which are idempotented coideal subalgebras of quantum affine $\mathfrak{gl}_n$. The symmetry in the formula leads to an isomorphism of the idempotented coideal subalgebras $\dot{\mathbf K}^{\jmath \imath}_{\mathfrak{n}}$ and $\dot{\mathbf K}^{\imath \jmath}_{\mathfrak{n}}$ with compatible monomial, standard and canonical bases.
