AutoPath: Learning Transferable Goal-Conditioned Stochastic Path Prior for Safe Navigation Without Human Demonstrations

Real-time navigation in cluttered and dynamic environments requires collision-free and dynamically feasible motion under limited perception. However, feasible navigation behaviors are inherently multimodal because multiple paths may exist around obstacles. In this paper, we formulate navigation as learning a transferable goal-conditioned stochastic path prior that models a reusable distribution over goal-aligned geometry-consistent local paths conditioned on local observations. This formulation enables structured sampling of navigation candidates, allowing multiple feasible paths to be explored through sampling without relying on robot-specific motion constraints. To this end, we introduce a goal-aligned canonical state representation that removes in-plane rotational ambiguity and normalizes local geometry with respect to the goal, enabling rotation-invariant path distribution learning. We further develop a structured prior learning framework that parameterizes local paths using a geometry-aware polar action manifold and incorporates risk-sensitive utility shaping with multi-goal distributional rollouts for stable and safety-aware planning. Extensive experiments in dense static environments and dynamic pedestrian scenarios demonstrate that the proposed method achieves consistently high success rates with competitive efficiency while enabling cross-platform transfer of a single path prior learned on differential-drive robots to quadruped platforms without retraining.

Beyond Isolated Objects: Relationship-aware Open Vocabulary Scene Understanding via 3D Scene Graph Analysis

Open-vocabulary 3D scene understanding aims to segment 3D scenes beyond predefined categories by transferring semantic knowledge from vision-language models. Existing methods have advanced this task by lifting language-aligned 2D features into 3D, yet they often rely on context-independent semantic representations, leaving object relationships underexplored for contextual refinement. We propose RelGraphOV, a relationship-aware framework that uses 3D scene graphs to enhance open-vocabulary 3D understanding. Our method constructs relational scene graphs from multi-view observations by leveraging vision-language reasoning to infer object relationships and prune geometrically implausible connections, without manual relationship annotations. To aggregate relational context while avoiding feature interference, we introduce an Adaptive Gated Dual-Stream Contextual GAT that separates dense geometric features and semantic CLIP embeddings, performs edge-guided message passing, and adaptively fuses complementary semantics. A hierarchical contrastive objective further promotes instance-level consistency and category-level discrimination. Experiments on ScanNetV2, ScanNet200, ScanNet$++$, and Replica demonstrate strong performance and generalization ability. Project Page: https://cxavireh.github.io/relgraphov-projectpage

Compact Object-Level Representations with Open-Vocabulary Understanding for Indoor Visual Relocalization

Indoor visual relocalization plays a critical role in emerging spatial and embodied AI applications. However, prior research was predominantly devoted to low-level vision schemes, struggling to perceive scene semantics and compositions, which limits both interpretability and applicability. In this paper, we explore the issue of how to organize rich object information in a scene, including semantics, layout, and geometry, into a structured map representation, thereby utilizing object units exclusively to drive the camera relocalization task. To this end, we propose OpenReLoc, a camera relocalization system designed to provide scene understanding and accurate pose estimation capabilities. Leveraging recent foundation models, we first introduce a multi-modal mechanism to integrate open-vocabulary semantic knowledge for effective 2D-3D object matching. Additionally, we design object-oriented reference frames as position priors, paired with a reference frame selection strategy based on the Distance-IoU (DIOU), enabling extension to scalable scenes. Moreover, to ensure stable and accurate pose optimization, we also propose a dual-path 2D Iterative Closest Pixel loss guided by object shape. Experimental results demonstrate that OpenReLoc achieves superior relocalization recall and accuracy across various datasets. Our source code will be released upon acceptance.

MeGAS: Thermomechanical Dynamic Gaussian Splatting for Thermophysical Scene Editing

Recent advances integrate physically grounded Newtonian dynamics with neural rendering frameworks, narrowing the gap between photorealistic scene reconstruction and physics-based animation. However, existing approaches focus on mechanically driven dynamics while neglecting temperature, a fundamental yet invisible physical factor underlying phenomena such as melting, solidification, and other thermomechanical processes. In this paper, we propose MeGAS, a novel framework that incorporates thermomechanical phase-change dynamics into 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS). Specifically, we propose a new thermomechanical dynamic Gaussian Splatting representation that augments 3DGS with temperature attributes and employs a heat advection-diffusion solver with MPM dynamics incorporating phase transitions, enabling physically plausible and visually realistic synthesis of thermophysical phenomena. Furthermore, a new topology-adaptive Gaussian rendering strategy is proposed to mitigate cracking and floaters under extreme deformation. Extensive experiments demonstrate that MeGAS produces physically consistent thermomechanical behavior while maintaining high-fidelity photorealistic rendering, advancing toward physics-integrated world models.

NeuMesh++: Towards Versatile and Efficient Volumetric Editing with Disentangled Neural Mesh-based Implicit Field

Recently neural implicit rendering techniques have evolved rapidly and demonstrated significant advantages in novel view synthesis and 3D scene reconstruction. However, existing neural rendering methods for editing purposes offer limited functionalities, e.g., rigid transformation and category-specific editing. In this paper, we present a novel mesh-based representation by encoding the neural radiance field with disentangled geometry, texture, and semantic codes on mesh vertices, which empowers a set of efficient and comprehensive editing functionalities, including mesh-guided geometry editing, designated texture editing with texture swapping, filling and painting operations, and semantic-guided editing. To this end, we develop several techniques including a novel local space parameterization to enhance rendering quality and training stability, a learnable modification color on vertex to improve the fidelity of texture editing, a spatial-aware optimization strategy to realize precise texture editing, and a semantic-aided region selection to ease the laborious annotation of implicit field editing. Extensive experiments and editing examples on both real and synthetic datasets demonstrate the superiority of our method on representation quality and editing ability. Archon: A Unified Multimodal Model for Holistic Digital Human Generation

Digital humans are fundamental to immersive interaction, yet creating a unified model for holistic modalities, including text, audio, motion, and visual content, remains an open challenge. In this paper, we present Archon, a fully pretrained, human-centric unified multimodal model for holistic avatar generation. Archon unifies seven modalities with modality-specific tokenizers, and a native autoregressive unified multimodal model pretrained on synchronized modalities and 72 diverse tasks to model holistic joint distributions. To address the token explosion challenge in high-fidelity talking videos, we introduce a memory-efficient semantic video reparameterization, achieving 4x token reduction while preserving fine-grained dynamics, coupled with a semantic-driven video diffusion decoder. We further propose a "Thinking in Modality" that decomposes ambiguous cross-modal tasks into stepwise thinking in an alternative chain of modality, progressively enhancing fidelity and controllability. Extensive experiments demonstrate that Archon achieves superior or comparable performance across diverse digital human generation tasks, validating the effectiveness of our unified framework. GaussianZoom: Progressive Zoom-in Generative 3D Gaussian Splatting with Geometric and Semantic Guidance

We introduce GaussianZoom, a generative zoom-in 3D reconstruction system with an iterative progressive framework that combines geometry-consistent scene modeling and multi-scale semantic reasoning to enable high-fidelity extreme zoom-in rendering from low-resolution inputs. To achieve this, we develop a novel multi-view consistent super-resolution module with depth-based feature warping and VLM-driven detail synthesis, ensuring accurate multi-view correspondence while enriching fine-scale appearance beyond the observed resolution. To support zooming across large magnification ranges, we further introduce a new expandable continuous Level-of-Detail hierarchy that dynamically modulates Gaussian visibility for smooth, alias-free cross-scale rendering. Experiments on Mip-NeRF360 and Tanks\&Temples demonstrate that GaussianZoom achieves superior perceptual quality, multi-view consistency, and robustness under extreme magnification, establishing a strong baseline for generative zoom-in 3D scene reconstruction.

Any 3D Scene is Worth 1K Tokens: 3D-Grounded Representation for Scene Generation at Scale

3D scene generation has long been dominated by 2D multi-view or video diffusion models. This is due not only to the lack of scene-level 3D latent representation, but also to the fact that most scene-level 3D visual data exists in the form of multi-view images or videos, which are naturally compatible with 2D diffusion architectures. Typically, these 2D-based approaches degrade 3D spatial extrapolation to 2D temporal extension, which introduces two fundamental issues: (i) representing 3D scenes via 2D views leads to significant representation redundancy, and (ii) latent space rooted in 2D inherently limits the spatial consistency of the generated 3D scenes. In this paper, we propose, for the first time, to perform 3D scene generation directly within an implicit 3D latent space to address these limitations. First, we repurpose frozen 2D representation encoders to construct our 3D Representation Autoencoder (3DRAE), which grounds view-coupled 2D semantic representations into a view-decoupled 3D latent representation. This enables representing 3D scenes observed from arbitrary numbers of views--at any resolution and aspect ratio--with fixed complexity and rich semantics. Then we introduce 3D Diffusion Transformer (3DDiT), which performs diffusion modeling in this 3D latent space, achieving remarkably efficient and spatially consistent 3D scene generation while supporting diverse conditioning configurations. Moreover, since our approach directly generates a 3D scene representation, it can be decoded to images and optional point maps along arbitrary camera trajectories without requiring per-trajectory diffusion sampling pass, which is common in 2D-based approaches.

PhysSkin: Real-Time and Generalizable Physics-Based Animation via Self-Supervised Neural Skinning

Achieving real-time physics-based animation that generalizes across diverse 3D shapes and discretizations remains a fundamental challenge. We introduce PhysSkin, a physics-informed framework that addresses this challenge. In the spirit of Linear Blend Skinning, we learn continuous skinning fields as basis functions lifting motion subspace coordinates to full-space deformation, with subspace defined by handle transformations. To generate mesh-free, discretization-agnostic, and physically consistent skinning fields that generalize well across diverse 3D shapes, PhysSkin employs a new neural skinning fields autoencoder which consists of a transformer-based encoder and a cross-attention decoder. Furthermore, we also develop a novel physics-informed self-supervised learning strategy that incorporates on-the-fly skinning-field normalization and conflict-aware gradient correction, enabling effective balancing of energy minimization, spatial smoothness, and orthogonality constraints. PhysSkin shows outstanding performance on generalizable neural skinning and enables real-time physics-based animation.

DiffWind: Physics-Informed Differentiable Modeling of Wind-Driven Object Dynamics

Modeling wind-driven object dynamics from video observations is highly challenging due to the invisibility and spatio-temporal variability of wind, as well as the complex deformations of objects. We present DiffWind, a physics-informed differentiable framework that unifies wind-object interaction modeling, video-based reconstruction, and forward simulation. Specifically, we represent wind as a grid-based physical field and objects as particle systems derived from 3D Gaussian Splatting, with their interaction modeled by the Material Point Method (MPM). To recover wind-driven object dynamics, we introduce a reconstruction framework that jointly optimizes the spatio-temporal wind force field and object motion through differentiable rendering and simulation. To ensure physical validity, we incorporate the Lattice Boltzmann Method (LBM) as a physics-informed constraint, enforcing compliance with fluid dynamics laws. Beyond reconstruction, our method naturally supports forward simulation under novel wind conditions and enables new applications such as wind retargeting. We further introduce WD-Objects, a dataset of synthetic and real-world wind-driven scenes. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method significantly outperforms prior dynamic scene modeling approaches in both reconstruction accuracy and simulation fidelity, opening a new avenue for video-based wind-object interaction modeling.

LightCity: An Urban Dataset for Outdoor Inverse Rendering and Reconstruction under Multi-illumination Conditions

Inverse rendering in urban scenes is pivotal for applications like autonomous driving and digital twins. Yet, it faces significant challenges due to complex illumination conditions, including multi-illumination and indirect light and shadow effects. However, the effects of these challenges on intrinsic decomposition and 3D reconstruction have not been explored due to the lack of appropriate datasets. In this paper, we present LightCity, a novel high-quality synthetic urban dataset featuring diverse illumination conditions with realistic indirect light and shadow effects. LightCity encompasses over 300 sky maps with highly controllable illumination, varying scales with street-level and aerial perspectives over 50K images, and rich properties such as depth, normal, material components, light and indirect light, etc. Besides, we leverage LightCity to benchmark three fundamental tasks in the urban environments and conduct a comprehensive analysis of these benchmarks, laying a robust foundation for advancing related research.

AtlasGS: Atlanta-world Guided Surface Reconstruction with Implicit Structured Gaussians

3D reconstruction of indoor and urban environments is a prominent research topic with various downstream applications. However, existing geometric priors for addressing low-texture regions in indoor and urban settings often lack global consistency. Moreover, Gaussian Splatting and implicit SDF fields often suffer from discontinuities or exhibit computational inefficiencies, resulting in a loss of detail. To address these issues, we propose an Atlanta-world guided implicit-structured Gaussian Splatting that achieves smooth indoor and urban scene reconstruction while preserving high-frequency details and rendering efficiency. By leveraging the Atlanta-world model, we ensure the accurate surface reconstruction for low-texture regions, while the proposed novel implicit-structured GS representations provide smoothness without sacrificing efficiency and high-frequency details. Specifically, we propose a semantic GS representation to predict the probability of all semantic regions and deploy a structure plane regularization with learnable plane indicators for global accurate surface reconstruction. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method outperforms state-of-the-art approaches in both indoor and urban scenes, delivering superior surface reconstruction quality.

GaussianUpdate: Continual 3D Gaussian Splatting Update for Changing Environments

Novel view synthesis with neural models has advanced rapidly in recent years, yet adapting these models to scene changes remains an open problem. Existing methods are either labor-intensive, requiring extensive model retraining, or fail to capture detailed types of changes over time. In this paper, we present GaussianUpdate, a novel approach that combines 3D Gaussian representation with continual learning to address these challenges. Our method effectively updates the Gaussian radiance fields with current data while preserving information from past scenes. Unlike existing methods, GaussianUpdate explicitly models different types of changes through a novel multi-stage update strategy. Additionally, we introduce a visibility-aware continual learning approach with generative replay, enabling self-aware updating without the need to store images. The experiments on the benchmark dataset demonstrate our method achieves superior and real-time rendering with the capability of visualizing changes over different times

InstaScene: Towards Complete 3D Instance Decomposition and Reconstruction from Cluttered Scenes

Humans can naturally identify and mentally complete occluded objects in cluttered environments. However, imparting similar cognitive ability to robotics remains challenging even with advanced reconstruction techniques, which models scenes as undifferentiated wholes and fails to recognize complete object from partial observations. In this paper, we propose InstaScene, a new paradigm towards holistic 3D perception of complex scenes with a primary goal: decomposing arbitrary instances while ensuring complete reconstruction. To achieve precise decomposition, we develop a novel spatial contrastive learning by tracing rasterization of each instance across views, significantly enhancing semantic supervision in cluttered scenes. To overcome incompleteness from limited observations, we introduce in-situ generation that harnesses valuable observations and geometric cues, effectively guiding 3D generative models to reconstruct complete instances that seamlessly align with the real world. Experiments on scene decomposition and object completion across complex real-world and synthetic scenes demonstrate that our method achieves superior decomposition accuracy while producing geometrically faithful and visually intact objects.

ImmerseGen: Agent-Guided Immersive World Generation with Alpha-Textured Proxies

Automating immersive VR scene creation remains a primary research challenge. Existing methods typically rely on complex geometry with post-simplification, resulting in inefficient pipelines or limited realism. In this paper, we introduce ImmerseGen, a novel agent-guided framework for compact and photorealistic world generation that decouples realism from exhaustive geometric modeling. ImmerseGen represents scenes as hierarchical compositions of lightweight geometric proxies with synthesized RGBA textures, facilitating real-time rendering on mobile VR headsets. We propose terrain-conditioned texturing for base world generation, combined with context-aware texturing for scenery, to produce diverse and visually coherent worlds. VLM-based agents employ semantic grid-based analysis for precise asset placement and enrich scenes with multimodal enhancements such as visual dynamics and ambient sound. Experiments and real-time VR applications demonstrate that ImmerseGen achieves superior photorealism, spatial coherence, and rendering efficiency compared to existing methods.

IM-Portrait: Learning 3D-aware Video Diffusion for Photorealistic Talking Heads from Monocular Videos

We propose a novel 3D-aware diffusion-based method for generating photorealistic talking head videos directly from a single identity image and explicit control signals (e.g., expressions). Our method generates Multiplane Images (MPIs) that ensure geometric consistency, making them ideal for immersive viewing experiences like binocular videos for VR headsets. Unlike existing methods that often require a separate stage or joint optimization to reconstruct a 3D representation (such as NeRF or 3D Gaussians), our approach directly generates the final output through a single denoising process, eliminating the need for post-processing steps to render novel views efficiently. To effectively learn from monocular videos, we introduce a training mechanism that reconstructs the output MPI randomly in either the target or the reference camera space. This approach enables the model to simultaneously learn sharp image details and underlying 3D information. Extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of our method, which achieves competitive avatar quality and novel-view rendering capabilities, even without explicit 3D reconstruction or high-quality multi-view training data.

HiScene: Creating Hierarchical 3D Scenes with Isometric View Generation

Scene-level 3D generation represents a critical frontier in multimedia and computer graphics, yet existing approaches either suffer from limited object categories or lack editing flexibility for interactive applications. In this paper, we present HiScene, a novel hierarchical framework that bridges the gap between 2D image generation and 3D object generation and delivers high-fidelity scenes with compositional identities and aesthetic scene content. Our key insight is treating scenes as hierarchical "objects" under isometric views, where a room functions as a complex object that can be further decomposed into manipulatable items. This hierarchical approach enables us to generate 3D content that aligns with 2D representations while maintaining compositional structure. To ensure completeness and spatial alignment of each decomposed instance, we develop a video-diffusion-based amodal completion technique that effectively handles occlusions and shadows between objects, and introduce shape prior injection to ensure spatial coherence within the scene. Experimental results demonstrate that our method produces more natural object arrangements and complete object instances suitable for interactive applications, while maintaining physical plausibility and alignment with user inputs.

Free360: Layered Gaussian Splatting for Unbounded 360-Degree View Synthesis from Extremely Sparse and Unposed Views

Neural rendering has demonstrated remarkable success in high-quality 3D neural reconstruction and novel view synthesis with dense input views and accurate poses. However, applying it to extremely sparse, unposed views in unbounded 360{\deg} scenes remains a challenging problem. In this paper, we propose a novel neural rendering framework to accomplish the unposed and extremely sparse-view 3D reconstruction in unbounded 360{\deg} scenes. To resolve the spatial ambiguity inherent in unbounded scenes with sparse input views, we propose a layered Gaussian-based representation to effectively model the scene with distinct spatial layers. By employing a dense stereo reconstruction model to recover coarse geometry, we introduce a layer-specific bootstrap optimization to refine the noise and fill occluded regions in the reconstruction. Furthermore, we propose an iterative fusion of reconstruction and generation alongside an uncertainty-aware training approach to facilitate mutual conditioning and enhancement between these two processes. Comprehensive experiments show that our approach outperforms existing state-of-the-art methods in terms of rendering quality and surface reconstruction accuracy.
