All-Genus Open Mirror Symmetry for Toric Calabi-Yau 3-Orbifolds with Multiple Branes

We prove the all-genus open mirror symmetry of a toric Calabi-Yau 3-orbifold where the boundary condition is given by multiple Aganagic-Vafa branes. Each brane could be either inner or outer, and admit a fractional framing. The B-model is given by the Chekhov-Eynard-Orantin topological recursion expanded in local coordinates specified by the brane data.

All genus open mirror symmetry for the projective line

We prove that the Chekhov-Eynard-Orantin recursion on the mirror curve of $\mathbb{P}^1$ encodes all genus equivariant open Gromov-Witten invariants of $(\mathbb{P}^1, \mathbb{R}\mathbb{P}^1)$. This result can be viewed as an all genus equivariant open mirror symmetry for $(\mathbb{P}^1, \mathbb{R}\mathbb{P}^1)$.

Conifold Gap Theorem for Topological Recursion

We prove a conifold gap theorem for the topological recursion of toric mirror curves: for every local analytic family acquiring a generic one-node degeneration and every fixed genus at least two, the conifold-polarized free energy has one universal polar term, and the remainder is jointly holomorphic in the transverse and spectator parameters. The result covers separating and nonseparating nodes and allows general family deformations beyond the pure filling-fraction case.

Mirror symmetry and open/closed correspondence for the projective line

We study the open/closed correspondence for the projective line via mirror symmetry. More explicitly, we establish a correspondence between the generating function of disk Gromov-Witten invariants of the complex projective line $\mathbb{P}^1$ with boundary condition specified by an $S^1$-invariant Lagrangian sub-manifold $L$ and the asymptotic expansion of the $I$-function of a toric surface $\mathcal{S}$.

On one-leg orbifold topological vertex in refined Gromov-Witten theory

We define the one-leg orbifold topological vertex in refined Gromov-Witten theory \cite{BS24}. There are two cases where the leg is effective or gerby. The main result of this paper is the computation of the effective case. In the smooth case, this result matches the one-leg refined vertex in \cite{IKV09}. As an application, we compute the refined Gromov-Witten invariants of the local football.

Remodeling Conjecture with Descendants

We formulate and prove the Remodeling Conjecture with descendants, which is a version of all-genus equivariant descendant mirror symmetry for semi-projective toric Calabi-Yau 3-orbifolds with integral structures. We construct an isomorphism between the $K$-group of equivariant coherent sheaves on the toric Calabi-Yau 3-orbifold with support bounded in a direction and a certain integral relative first homology group of the equivariant mirror curve. Under this isomorphism, we prove the equivariant mirror symmetric Gamma conjecture which equates quantum cohomology central charges of coherent sheaves and oscillatory integrals along corresponding relative 1-cycles. As a consequence in the non-equivariant setting, we prove a conjecture of Hosono which equates central charges of compactly supported coherent sheaves and period integrals of integral 3-cycles on the Hori-Vafa mirror 3-fold. Furthermore, we establish a correspondence between all-genus equivariant descendant Gromov-Witten invariants with $K$-theoretic framings and oscillatory integrals (Laplace transforms) of the Chekhov-Eynard-Orantin topological recursion invariants along relative 1-cycles on the equivariant mirror curve.

Multi-Component Open/Relative/Local Correspondence

For a toric Calabi-Yau 3-orbifold relative to s Aganagic-Vafa outer branes, we prove a correspondence among the genus-zero open Gromov-Witten invariants with maximal winding at each brane and: (i) closed invariants of a toric Calabi-Yau (3+s)-orbifold; (ii) formal relative invariants of a formal toric Calabi-Yau (FTCY) 3-orbifold with maximal tangency to s divisors; (iii) formal relative invariants of a sequence of FTCY intermediate geometries interpolating dimensions 3 and 3+s. The correspondence provides examples of the log/local principle of van Garrel-Graber-Ruddat in the multi-component setting and the refined conjecture of Brini-Bousseau-van Garrel via intermediate geometries. It also establishes the multi-component case of the open/closed correspondence proposed by Lerche-Mayr and studied by Liu-Yu. As an application, we obtain examples of the conjecture of Klemm-Pandharipande on the integrality of BPS invariants of higher-dimensional toric Calabi-Yau manifolds. Along the way, we set the basic stages of the relative Gromov-Witten theory of higher-dimensional FTCY orbifolds, generalizing the case of smooth 3-folds by Li-Liu-Liu-Zhou.

Open/closed correspondence for the projective line

We establish a correspondence between the disk invariants of the complex projective line $\bP^1$ with boundary condition specified by an $S^1$-invariant Lagrangian sub-manifold $L$ and the genus-zero closed Gromov-Witten invariants of a toric surface $X$.

Open WDVV Equations and Frobenius Structures for Toric Calabi-Yau 3-Folds

Let $X$ be a toric Calabi-Yau 3-fold and let $L\subset X$ be an Aganagic-Vafa outer brane. We prove two versions of open WDVV equations for the open Gromov-Witten theory of $(X,L)$. The first version of the open WDVV equation leads to the construction of a semi-simple (formal) Frobenius manifold and the second version leads to the construction of a flat (formal) $F$-manifold.

Twisted Equivariant Gromov-Witten Theory of the Classifying Space of a Finite Group

For any finite group $G$, the equivariant Gromov-Witten invariants of $[\mathbb{C}^r/G]$ can be viewed as a certain twisted Gromov-Witten invariants of the classifying stack $\mathcal{B} G$. In this paper, we use Tseng's orbifold quantum Riemann-Roch theorem to express the equivariant Gromov-Witten invariants of $[\mathbb{C}^r/G]$ as a sum over Feynman graphs, where the weight of each graph is expressed in terms of descendant integrals over moduli spaces of stable curves and representations of $G$.

Torus knots in Lens spaces, open Gromov-Witten invariants, and topological recursion

Starting from a torus knot $\mathcal{K}$ in the lens space $L(p,-1)$, we construct a Lagrangian sub-manifold $L_{\mathcal{K}}$ in $\mathcal{X}=\big(\mathcal{O}_{\mathbb{P}^1}(-1)\oplus \mathcal{O}_{\mathbb{P}^1}(-1)\big)/\mathbb{Z}_p$ under the conifold transition. We prove a mirror theorem which relates the all genus open-closed Gromov-Witten invariants of $(\mathcal{X},L_{\mathcal{K}})$ to the topological recursion on the B-model spectral curve. This verifies a conjecture in \cite{Bor-Bri} in the case of lens space.

Gromov--Witten theory of $[\mathbb{C}^2/\mathbb{Z}_{n+1}]\times \mathbb{P}^1$

We compute the relative orbifold Gromov-Witten invariants of $[\mathbb{C}^2/\mathbb{Z}_{n+1}]\times \mathbb{P}^1$, with respect to vertical fibers. Via a vanishing property of the Hurwitz-Hodge bundle, 2-point rubber invariants are calculated explicitly using Pixton's formula for the double ramification cycle, and the orbifold quantum Riemann-Roch. As a result parallel to its crepant resolution counterpart for $\mathcal{A}_n$, the GW/DT/Hilb/Sym correspondence is established for $[\mathbb{C}^2/\mathbb{Z}_{n+1}]$. The computation also implies the crepant resolution conjecture for relative orbifold Gromov-Witten theory of $[\mathbb{C}^2/\mathbb{Z}_{n+1}]\times \mathbb{P}^1$.

All Genus Open-Closed Mirror Symmetry for Affine Toric Calabi-Yau 3-Orbifolds

The Remodeling Conjecture proposed by Bouchard-Klemm-Marino-Pasquetti [arXiv:0709.1453, arXiv:0807.0597] relates all genus open and closed Gromov-Witten invariants of a semi-projective toric Calabi-Yau 3-manifolds/3-orbifolds to the Eynard-Orantin invariants of the mirror curve of the toric Calabi-Yau 3-fold. In this paper, we present a proof of the Remodeling Conjecture for open-closed orbifold Gromov-Witten invariants of an arbitrary affine toric Calabi-Yau 3-orbifold relative to a framed Aganagic-Vafa Lagrangian brane. This can be viewed as an all genus open-closed mirror symmetry for affine toric Calabi-Yau 3-orbifolds.

On the Remodeling Conjecture for Toric Calabi-Yau 3-Orbifolds

The Remodeling Conjecture proposed by Bouchard-Klemm-Mariño-Pasquetti (BKMP) [arXiv:0709.1453, arXiv:0807.0597] relates the A-model open and closed topological string amplitudes (the all genus open and closed Gromov-Witten invariants) of a semi-projective toric Calabi-Yau 3-manifold/3-orbifold to the Eynard-Orantin invariants of its mirror curve. It is an all genus open-closed mirror symmetry for toric Calabi-Yau 3-manifolds/3-orbifolds. In this paper, we present a proof of the BKMP Remodeling Conjecture for all genus open-closed orbifold Gromov-Witten invariants of an arbitrary semi-projective toric Calabi-Yau 3-orbifold relative to an outer framed Aganagic-Vafa Lagrangian brane. We also prove the conjecture in the closed string sector at all genera.

Graph sums in the Remodeling Conjecture

The BKMP Remodeling Conjecture \cite{Ma,BKMP09,BKMP10} predicts all genus open-closed Gromov-Witten invariants for a toric Calabi-Yau $3$-orbifold by Eynard-Orantin's topological recursion \cite{EO07} on its mirror curve. The proof of the Remodeling Conjecture by the authors \cite{FLZ1,FLZ3} relies on comparing two Feynman-type graph sums in both A and B-models. In this paper, we will survey these graph sum formulae and discuss their roles in the proof of the conjecture.

Topological recursion for the conifold transition of a torus knot

In this paper we prove a mirror symmetry conjecture based on the work of Brini-Eynard-Mariño \cite{BEM} and Diaconescu-Shende-Vafa \cite{DSV}. This conjecture relates open Gromov-Witten invariants of the conifold transition of a torus knot to the topological recursion on the B-model spectral curve.

The SYZ mirror symmetry and the BKMP remodeling conjecture

The Remodeling Conjecture proposed by Bouchard-Klemm-Mariño-Pasquetti (BKMP) relates the A-model open and closed topological string amplitudes (open and closed Gromov-Witten invariants) of a symplectic toric Calabi-Yau 3-fold to Eynard-Orantin invariants of its mirror curve. The Remodeling Conjecture can be viewed as a version of all genus open-closed mirror symmetry. The SYZ conjecture explains mirror symmetry as $T$-duality. After a brief review on SYZ mirror symmetry and mirrors of symplectic toric Calabi-Yau 3-orbifolds, we give a non-technical exposition of our results on the Remodeling Conjecture for symplectic toric Calabi-Yau 3-orbifolds. In the end, we apply SYZ mirror symmetry to obtain the descendent version of the all genus mirror symmetry for toric Calabi-Yau 3-orbifolds.
