Monogamy inequalities of entanglement of assistance in $2\otimes 2\otimes d$ systems

The monogamy relations characterize the distribution of quantum correlations among the multipartite quantum systems. We study the monogamy relations of the entanglement of assistance in $2\otimes 2\otimes d$ systems. We present explicitly the relations satisfied by the concurrence, the tangle and the concurrence of assistance, which can be used to derive rigorous monogamy relations. Detailed examples are given to illustrate our results.

Nonlocal advantage of quantum imaginarity in Schwarzchild spacetime

Black hole spacetimes provide a natural setting for quantum systems in curved spacetime, where effects such as Hawking radiation arise from event horizons. In this work, we investigate the impact of the Hawking effect on quantum imaginarity in Schwarzschild spacetime, focusing on nonlocal advantage of quantum imaginarity (NAQI) and assisted imaginarity distillation. For NAQI, it is significantly affected by Hawking radiation, exhibiting a pronounced difference between physically accessible and inaccessible regions. It is suppressed in the physically accessible region with increasing Hawking temperature and may vanish, while remaining absent in the physically inaccessible region across the parameter regime. For assisted imaginarity distillation, the Hawking effect modifies the assisted fidelity in a state-dependent manner. In the physically accessible region, the fidelity generally decreases with increasing temperature, indicating reduced distillation capability, whereas the physically inaccessible region exhibits the opposite monotonic trend, indicating enhanced distillation capability. These results highlight distinct operational behaviors of physically accessible and inaccessible regions under relativistic effects, providing insight into quantum imaginarity in curved spacetime.

Basis-independent Coherence and its Applications

In the quantitative theory of quantum coherence, the amount of coherence for given states can be meaningfully discussed only when referring to a preferred basis. One of the objections to this quantification is that the amount of coherence is an intrinsically basis-dependent quantity. This limitation can, however, be lifted when considering a set of quantum states invariant under arbitrary unitary transformations. Thus, we analyze a basis-independent definition of quantum coherence, and the incoherent state is taken as the maximally mixed state. We describe the relationship between the basis-independent and the basis-dependent approaches and give several applications to show the advantages of the former method. The relations among basis-independent coherence, quantum entanglement, and quantum discord are discussed by using the relative entropy within a multipartite system.

Classifying coherence with a finite set of witnesses

Coherence is a fundamental resource in quantum information processing, which can be certified by a coherence witness. In order to detect all the coherent states, we introduce a useful concept of coherence witness and structure the set of coherence witnesses $C^{d}_{[m,M]}$. We present necessary and sufficient conditions of detecting quantum coherence of $d-$dimensional quantum states based on $C^{d}_{[m,M]}$. Moreover, we show that each coherent state can be detected by one of the coherence witnesses in a finite set. The corresponding finite set of coherence witnesses is presented explicitly, which detects all the coherent states.

General monogamy relations of the $S^{t}$ and $T^{t}_q$-entropy entanglement measures based on dual entropy

Monogamy of entanglement is the fundamental property of quantum systems. By using two new entanglement measures based on dual entropy, the $S^{t}$-entropy entanglement and $T^{t}_q$-entropy entanglement measures, we present the general monogamy relations in multi-qubit quantum systems. We show that these newly derived monogamy inequalities are tighter than the existing ones. Based on these general monogamy relations, we construct the set of multipartite entanglement indicators for $N$-qubit states, which are shown to work well even for the cases that the usual concurrence-based indicators do not work. Detailed examples are presented to illustrate our results.

Polygamy relation of quantum correlations with equality

We provide a generalized definition of polygamy relations for any quantum correlation measures. Instead of the usual polygamy inequality, a polygamy relation with equality is given by introducing the polygamy weight. From the polygamy relation with equality, we present polygamy inequalities satisfied by the $β$th $(β>0)$ power of the quantum correlation measures. Taking concurrence of assistance as an example, we further illustrate the significance and advantages of these relations. We also obtain a polygamy relation with equality by considering the one-to-group entanglements for any quantum entanglement measures that do not satisfy the polygamy relations. We demonstrate that such relations for tripartite states can be generalized to multipartite systems.

Tetrahedron genuine entanglement measure of four-qubit systems

Quantifying genuine entanglement is a key task in quantum information theory. We study the quantification of genuine multipartite entanglement for four-qubit systems. Based on the concurrence of nine different classes of four-qubit states, with each class being closed under stochastic local operation and classical communication, we construct a concurrence tetrahedron. Proper genuine four-qubit entanglement measure is presented by using the volume of the concurrence tetrahedron. For non genuine entangled pure states, the four-qubit entanglement measure classifies the bi-separable entanglement. We show that the concurrence tetrahedron based measure of genuine four-qubit entanglement is not equivalent to the genuine four-partite entanglement concurrence. We illustrate the advantages of the concurrence tetrahedron by detailed examples.

Parameterized coherence measure

Quantifying coherence is an essential endeavor for both quantum mechanical foundations and quantum technologies. We present a bona fide measure of quantum coherence by utilizing the Tsallis relative operator $(α, β)$-entropy. We first prove that the proposed coherence measure fulfills all the criteria of a well defined coherence measure, including the strong monotonicity in the resource theories of quantum coherence. We then study the ordering of the Tsallis relative operator $(α, β)$-entropy of coherence, Tsallis relative $α$-entropies of coherence, Rényi $α$-entropy of coherence and $l_{1}$ norm of coherence for both pure and mixed qubit states. This provides a new method for defining new coherence measure and entanglement measure, and also provides a new idea for further study of quantum coherence.

Monogamy of entanglement for tripartite systems

We study the monogamy of arbitrary quantum entanglement measures $E$ for tripartite quantum systems. Both sufficient and necessary conditions for $E$ to be monogamous in terms of the $α$th power of $E$ are explicitly derived. It is shown that such monogamy of a entanglement measure $E$ only depends on the boundedness of the solution set of certain equations. Moreover, the monogamy conditions have been also obtained with respect to certain subsets of quantum states for a given quantum correlation. Detailed examples are given to illustrate our results.

Concurrence triangle induced genuine multipartite entanglement measure

We study the quantification of genuine multipartite entanglement (GME) for general multipartite states. A set of inequalities satisfied by the entanglement of $N$-partite pure states is derived by exploiting the restrictions on entanglement distributions, showing that the bipartite entanglement between each part and its remaining ones cannot exceed the sum of the other partners with their remaining ones. Then a series of triangles, named concurrence triangles, are established corresponding to these inequalities. Proper genuine multipartite entanglement measures are thus constructed by using the geometric mean area of these concurrence triangles, which are non-increasing under local operation and classical communication. The GME measures classify which parts are separable or entangled with the rest ones for non genuine entangled pure states. The GME measures for mixed states are given via the convex roof construction, and a witness to detect the GME of multipartite mixed states is presented by an approach based on state purifications. Detailed examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of our GME measures.

Informationally complete measures of quantum entanglement

Although quantum entanglement has already been verified experimentally and applied in quantum computing, quantum sensing and quantum networks, most of the existing measures cannot characterize the entanglement faithfully. In this work, by exploiting the Schmidt decomposition of a bipartite state $|ψ\rangle_{AB}$, we first establish a one-to-one correspondence relation between the characteristic polynomial of the reduced state $ρ_A$ and the polynomials its trace. Then we introduce a family of entanglement measures which are given by the complete eigenvalues of the reduced density matrices of the system. Specific measures called informationally complete entanglement measures (ICEMs) are presented to illustrate the advantages. It is demonstrated that such ICEMs can characterize finer and distinguish better the entanglement than existing well-known entanglement measures. They also give rise to criteria of state transformations under local operation and classical communication. Moreover, we show that the ICEMs can be efficiently estimated on a quantum computer. The fully separability, entanglement and genuine multipartite entanglement can detected faithfully on quantum devices.

A new parameterized monogamy relation between entanglement and equality

We provide a generalized definition of the monogamy relation for entanglement measures. A monogamy equality rather than the usual inequality is presented based on the monogamy weight, from which we give monogamy relations satisfied by the $α$th $(α>0)$ power of the entanglement measures. Taking concurrence as an example, we further demonstrate the significance and advantages of these relations. In addition, we show that monogamy relations can be recovered by considering multiple copies of states for every non-additive entanglement measure that violates the inequalities. We also demonstrate that the such relations for tripartite states can be generalized to multipartite systems.

Quantum Coherence Bounds the Distributed Discords

Establishing quantum correlations between two remote parties by sending an information carrier is an essential step of many protocols in quantum information processing. We obtain trade-off relations between discords and coherence within a bipartite system. Then we study the distribution of coherence in a bipartite quantum state by using the relations of relative entropy and mutual information. We show that the increase of the relative entropy of discord between two remote parties is bounded by the nonclassical correlations quantified by the relative entropy of coherence between the carrier and two remote parties, providing an optimal protocol for discord distribution and showing that quantum correlations are the essential resource for such tasks.

Maximum Relative Entropy of Coherence for Quantum Channels

Based on the resource theory for quantifying the coherence of quantum channels, we introduce a new coherence quantifier for quantum channels via maximum relative entropy. We prove that the maximum relative entropy for coherence of quantum channels is directly related to the maximally coherent channels under a particular class of superoperations, which results in an operational interpretation of the maximum relative entropy for coherence of quantum channels. We also introduce the conception of sub-superchannels and sub-superchannel discrimination. For any quantum channels, we show that the advantage of quantum channels in sub-superchannel discrimination can be exactly characterized by the maximum relative entropy of coherence for quantum channels. Similar to the maximum relative entropy of coherence for channels, the robustness of coherence for quantum channels has also been investigated. We show that the maximum relative entropy of coherence for channels provides new operational interpretations of robustness of coherence for quantum channels and illustrates the equivalence of the dephasing-covariant superchannels, incoherent superchannels, and strictly incoherent superchannels in these two operational tasks.

Quantifying quantum coherence based on the Tsallis relative operator entropy

Coherence is a fundamental ingredient in quantum physics and a key resource in quantum information processing. The quantification of quantum coherence is of great importance. We present a family of coherence quantifiers based on the Tsallis relative operator entropy. Shannon inequality and its reverse one in Hilbert space operators derived by Furuta [Linear Algebra Appl. 381 (2004) 219] are extended in terms of the parameter of the Tsallis relative operator entropy. These quantifiers are shown to satisfy all the standard criteria for a well-defined measure of coherence and include some existing coherence measures as special cases. Detailed examples are given to show the relations among the measures of quantum coherence.

Improved monogamy relations with concurrence of assistance and negativity of assistance for multiqubit W-class states

Monogamy relations characterize the distributions of entanglement in multipartite systems. We investigate the monogamy relations satisfied by the concurrence of assistance and the negativity of assistance for multiqubit generalized $W$-class states. Analytical monogamy inequalities are presented for both concurrence of assistance and negativity of assistance, which are shown to be tighter than the existing ones. Detailed examples have been presented.

Tighter generalized monogamy and polygamy relations for multiqubit systems

We present a different kind of monogamy and polygamy relations based on concurrence and concurrence of assistance for multiqubit systems. By relabeling the subsystems associated with different weights, a smaller upper bound of the $α$th ($0\leqα\leq2$) power of concurrence for multiqubit states is obtained. We also present tighter monogamy relations satisfied by the $α$th ($0\leqα\leq2$) power of concurrence for $N$-qubit pure states under the partition $AB$ and $C_1 . . . C_{N-2}$, as well as under the partition $ABC_1$ and $C_2\cdots C_{N-2}$. These inequalities give rise to the restrictions on entanglement distribution and the trade off of entanglement among the subsystems. Similar results are also derived for negativity.

Monogamy relations of all quantum correlation measures for multipartite quantum systems

The monogamy relations of quantum correlation restrict the sharability of quantum correlations in multipartite quantum states. We show that all measures of quantum correlations satisfy some kind of monogamy relations for arbitrary multipartite quantum states. Moreover, by introducing residual quantum correlations, we present tighter monogamy inequalities that are better than all the existing ones. In particular, for multi-qubit pure states, we also establish new monogamous relations based on the concurrence and concurrence of assistance under the partition of the first two qubits and the remaining ones.
