Self-similar blow-up solutions of $d$-dimensional incompressible Euler equations with $C^{1,\left(1-2/d\right)-}$ velocity

We investigate self-similar blow-up solutions to the $d$-dimensional axisymmetric incompressible Euler equations without swirl for $d\ge 3$. For any $α\in(0, α_d)$ with $α_d=1-2/d$, we construct a self-similar blow-up solution whose initial velocity field satisfies $u_0\in C^{1,α}_{\rm loc}(\mathbb R^d)\cap C^\infty(\mathbb R^d\setminus\{0\})$. Our construction relies on a fixed-point argument formulated for the self-similar profile equations, which form a coupled elliptic-transport system. Specifically, the transport equation recovers the vorticity profile from given data along characteristic curves, while the elliptic equation reconstructs the velocity field via Newtonian potentials defined in an auxiliary $(d+4)$-dimensional space. The main challenge consists in choosing appropriate function spaces that remain invariant under such nonlinear compositions and that simultaneously capture the exact singular behavior near the origin and the symmetry axis. Furthermore, we establish a finite-codimensional stability result for the self-similar profiles obtained above. As a consequence, after suitable truncation and correction of finitely many unstable modes, we obtain finite-energy blow-up solutions with initial velocity in $C^{1,α}(\mathbb R^d)\cap C^\infty(\mathbb R^d\setminus\{0\})\cap L^2(\mathbb R^d)$ and compactly supported initial vorticity. These solutions are asymptotically self-similar near the blow-up time.

Existence of weak solutions for two-phase matrix-valued harmonic map flows

We study the existence of weak solutions to a two-phase matrix-valued harmonic map flow with lifespan determined by that of the prescribed interface. This system arises as the limiting equation for the matrix-valued Keller--Rubinstein--Sternberg problem studied in (Invent. Math., 233(1):1--80, 2023). Our construction is based on a modified minimizing movement scheme. Precisely, we discretize time and build approximate solutions by interpolating minimizers of the associated variational problem on each time step.

Localization and unique continuation for the Anderson-Bernoulli model with long-range hopping on $\mathbb{Z}$

In this paper, we study Anderson localization near the spectral edge for the Anderson-Bernoulli model on $\mathbb{Z}$ with long-range hopping. When the hopping has a rational Laurent symbol, a quantitative version of the unique continuation principle can be proved, and localization occurs. For the unique continuation in the general case, we give some counterexamples and prove a weaker result for hopping that decays faster than exponential rate. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first localization result for the long-range Anderson model with pure Bernoulli potentials.

Stratification and rectifiability of harmonic map flows via tangent measures

In this paper, we investigate the stratification theory for ``suitable solutions" of harmonic map flows based on the spatial symmetry of tangent measures. Building on the quantitative stratifications and Reifenberg-rectifiable theory developed by Naber and Valtorta in breakthrough research of harmonic maps (\emph{Ann. Math.} 185 (2017), 131-227), we prove that each time slice of the singular set in our model is rectifiable. By making some additional assumptions about the target manifolds to exclude specific tangent flows and measures, we can also obtain a sharp regularity of suitable solutions for harmonic map flows.

Solutions of the 3D inhomogeneous incompressible Navier-Stokes system with initial velocity in $VMO^{-1}$

In this paper, we establish local existence of strong solutions for the three-dimensional inhomogeneous incompressible Navier-Stokes equations with initial data $(ρ_0,u_0)$ lying in $C^1 \times (L^2 \cap VMO^{-1})$, where $ρ_0$ has a positive lower bound. Furthermore, if $ρ_0 \in C^2$ and $||ρ_0-1||_{L^\infty}+||u_0||_{BMO^{-1}}$ is sufficiently small, we prove global existence of the solution. To achieve this, we employ an estimate for the transport equation to obtain regularity for the density and apply a new freezing-coefficient method for the momentum equation.

Critical mass threshold for the 2D Patlak-Keller-Segel-Navier-Stokes system

In this paper, we investigate critical mass threshold for the Patlak-Keller-Segel-Navier-Stokes system on the two-dimensional whole space and obtain global existence of strong solutions if the initial mass is less than or equal to $8π$, regardless of the initial norm of the velocity. One new observation is that the local mass of the density function rearrangement satisfies a good inequality that is independent of velocity; and then an improved maximum principle is applied by choosing a nice auxiliary function.

Exponential mixing for the stochastic Allen--Cahn equation with localized white noise

This paper studies the 1D stochastic Allen--Cahn equation on a bounded domain driven by localized white noise. We prove that the associated Markov process admits a unique invariant measure and is exponential mixing. The main challenge lies in the interaction between localized nature of the noise and non-trivial global dynamics of the system. To overcome this, our approach relies on two ingredients from PDE control theory: stabilization for the linearized system and global steady-state controllability for the nonlinear equation. The stabilization result is derived using the weak observability and Fenchel--Rockafellar duality, while the global controllability relies on quasi-static deformations combined with global dynamics.

Nonlinear stability of 2-D Couette flow for the compressible Navier-Stokes equations at high Reynolds number

In this paper, we investigate the nonlinear stability of the Couette flow for the two-dimensional compressible Navier--Stokes equations at high Reynolds numbers ($Re$) regime. It was proved that if the initial data $(ρ_{in},u_{in})$ satisfies $\|(ρ_{in},u_{in})-(1, y, 0)\|_{H^4(\mathbb{T}\times\mathbb{R})}\leq εRe^{-1}$ for some small $ε$ independent of $Re$, then the corresponding solution exists globally and remains close to the Couette flow for all time. Formal asymptotics indicate that this stability threshold is sharp within the class of Sobolev perturbations. The proof relies on the Fourier-multiplier method and exploits three essential ingredients: (i) the introduction of ``good unknowns" that decouple the perturbation system; (ii) the construction of a carefully designed Fourier multiplier that simultaneously captures the enhanced dissipation and inviscid-damping effects while taming the lift-up mechanism; and (iii) the design of distinct energy functionals for the incompressible and compressible modes.

Anderson Localization for the hierarchical Anderson-Bernoulli model on $\mathbb{Z}^d$

In this paper, we prove Anderson localization for a hierarchical Anderson-Bernoulli model on lattice with arbitrary dimension, where the potential is characterized by a geometric hierarchical structure combined with fluctuations induced by independent and identically distributed (i.i.d.) Bernoulli random variables. Our method is also applicable to proving a probabilistic unique continuation result on $\mathbb{Z}^d$.

An Adaptive Spatiotemporal Clustering Framework for 3D Ocean Subsurface Temperature Reconstruction

The reconstruction of ocean subsurface temperature (OST) using satellite remote sensing data holds significant scientific value for advancing the understanding of ocean dynamics and climate variability. However, the scarcity of subsurface observations, combined with the high degree of nonlinearity and spatiotemporal heterogeneity in subsurface processes, poses substantial challenges to the accuracy and generalization capability of traditional reconstruction methods. To address these limitations, this study proposes an adaptive framework that could capture both vertical structural dependencies and temporal variation patterns of OST via spatio-temporal clustering. By incorporating this framework with various deep learning models, e.g., dual-path convolutional neural networks (DP-CNN), Attention U-Net, and Vision Transformer (ViT), the OST field can be accurately reconstructed at a global scale only using surface observations, i.e., sea surface temperature (SST), sea surface salinity (SSS), sea surface height (SSH), and sea surface wind (SSW). Experimental results demonstrate that multiple deep learning methods using the proposed framework largely outperform their original counterparts, yielding improvements in RMSE ranging from 12.4\% to 27.2\%. This study provides a reliable solution for subsurface temperature reconstruction, offering important implications for meteorological modeling and climate change assessment.

EditVerse: Unifying Image and Video Editing and Generation with In-Context Learning

Recent advances in foundation models highlight a clear trend toward unification and scaling, showing emergent capabilities across diverse domains. While image generation and editing have rapidly transitioned from task-specific to unified frameworks, video generation and editing remain fragmented due to architectural limitations and data scarcity. In this work, we introduce EditVerse, a unified framework for image and video generation and editing within a single model. By representing all modalities, i.e., text, image, and video, as a unified token sequence, EditVerse leverages self-attention to achieve robust in-context learning, natural cross-modal knowledge transfer, and flexible handling of inputs and outputs with arbitrary resolutions and durations. To address the lack of video editing training data, we design a scalable data pipeline that curates 232K video editing samples and combines them with large-scale image and video datasets for joint training. Furthermore, we present EditVerseBench, the first benchmark for instruction-based video editing covering diverse tasks and resolutions. Extensive experiments and user studies demonstrate that EditVerse achieves state-of-the-art performance, surpassing existing open-source and commercial models, while exhibiting emergent editing and generation abilities across modalities.

Anderson localization and Hölder continuity of the integrated density of states for analytic quasiperiodic Schrödinger operators

We establish both Anderson localization and Hölder continuity of the integrated density of states for quasiperiodic Schrödinger operators on $\mathbb{Z}^d$ with any non-constant analytic potential and any Diophantine frequency in the perturbative regime. Our proof is based on a new method for controlling Green's functions and eliminating double resonances, in the spirit of multi-scale analysis. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first multi-scale analysis approach that works for fixed Diophantine frequencies and potentials beyond the cosine type.

The Navier-Stokes equations in $\mathbb R^2_+$ with point vortex initial data: construction of the solution

This is the first of two papers concerning the asymptotic behavior of the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations in a half-space at high Reynolds numbers, with initial data given by a point vortex. In the present work, we establish the existence and uniqueness of solutions subject to the non-slip boundary condition. This result was established in \cite{Ken} under the condition that the total mass is sufficiently small. Here, we eliminate the smallness assumption by analyzing the linearized operator near the point vortex and constructing a tailored functional framework-one designed to capture the distinct behaviors of the solution in the vicinity of the point vortex and the boundary, respectively.

The Navier-Stokes equations in $\mathbb R^2_+$ with point vortex initial data: Zero-viscosity limit

This is the second of two papers devoted to the asymptotic behavior of solutions to the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations in a half-space with point vortex initial data. A major difficulty stems from the interaction between the point vortex initial data and the boundary, which complicates the derivation of a valid asymptotic expansion. To overcome this, we carry out a precise matching between the point vortex and boundary-layer profiles to accurately capture the correct viscous behavior of the vortex in the half-plane. Based on this matched asymptotic analysis, we decompose the vorticity into three components: vorticity near the point vortex, vorticity near the boundary, and vorticity in the transition layer. A key point is that each component must be analyzed in its own distinct region. On this basis, we establish refined estimates and thereby achieve the inviscid limit for the point vortex. Finally, we rigorously prove that solutions to the Navier-Stokes equations converge to the Lamb-Oseen vortex away from the boundary, while approaching the Prandtl boundary-layer system in the near-boundary region.

Exponential mixing for nonlinear Schrödinger equations perturbed by bounded degenerate noise

We prove the exponential convergence to a unique invariant measure for locally damped nonlinear Schrödinger equations, perturbed by bounded noise acting on only two Fourier modes. To tackle the lack of smoothing effect, we introduce asymptotic compactness of linearized system to enhance the coupling method. Inspired by [14,33,39], we establish a new criterion for exponential mixing. Elements from global stability, nonlinear smoothing, and geometric control are combined when applying this criterion.

Asymptotic linear stability of columnar vortices driven by Coriolis force

In this paper, we establish the asymptotic linear stability of a class of Coriolis-driven columnar vortices for the 3-D axisymmetric Euler equations. This result represents a critical step toward proving the nonlinear asymptotic stability of such vortices. The key and widely applicable strategy is to construct a distorted Fourier basis, which is achieved by solving a two-parameter $(c, ξ)$-dependent Schrödinger equation associated with the linearized operator of the system. To capture the precise asymptotic behavior of the solution, we decompose the $c-ξ$ plane into distinct regions, with the partitioning guided by the leading-order profiles of the Schrödinger equation across different parameter regimes.

End-to-End Direction-Aware Keyword Spotting with Spatial Priors in Noisy Environments

Keyword spotting (KWS) is crucial for many speech-driven applications, but robust KWS in noisy environments remains challenging. Conventional systems often rely on single-channel inputs and a cascaded pipeline separating front-end enhancement from KWS. This precludes joint optimization, inherently limiting performance. We present an end-to-end multi-channel KWS framework that exploits spatial cues to improve noise robustness. A spatial encoder learns inter-channel features, while a spatial embedding injects directional priors; the fused representation is processed by a streaming backbone. Experiments in simulated noisy conditions across multiple signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs) show that spatial modeling and directional priors each yield clear gains over baselines, with their combination achieving the best results. These findings validate end-to-end multi-channel spatial modeling, indicating strong potential for the target-speaker-aware detection in complex acoustic scenarios.

$l^{2}$-decoupling and the unconditional uniqueness for the Boltzmann equation

We broaden the application of the $l^{2}$-decoupling theorem to the Boltzmann equation. We prove Strichartz estimates for the linear problem in the $\mathbb{T}^d$ setting. We establish space-time bilinear estimates, and hence the unconditional uniqueness of solutions to the $\mathbb{R}^d$ and $\mathbb{T}^d$ Boltzmann equation for the Maxwellian particle and soft potential with an angular cutoff, adopting a unified hierarchy scheme originally developed for the nonlinear Schrödinger equation.
