LEAP: Making Privileged Geometry Supervision Effective for Visuomotor Learning

Privileged 3D supervision uses additional geometric information during training to guide RGB-based visuomotor policy learning, without requiring geometric inputs at deployment. However, low reconstruction error does not ensure that visual representations capture geometry useful for control. We identify three limitations that weaken this supervision: proprioceptive shortcuts, dominant-view reliance, and reconstruction objectives dominated by task-irrelevant geometry. To address these limitations, we propose Latent Encoding with Aligned Privileged Geometry (LEAP). Our framework uses an auxiliary decoder to reconstruct point clouds within the manipulation workspace from visual features alone, while retaining proprioception for action prediction. Alongside full reconstruction, we introduce wrist-view dropout and partial reconstruction targets matched to the retained wrist, encouraging the encoder to capture complementary local geometry. The auxiliary decoder is removed at inference, leaving only RGB observations and robot state as policy inputs. Extensive experiments on RoboTwin, ManiSkill, and real-world tasks demonstrate consistent and substantial improvements over Diffusion Policy and ACT, with only a small increase in parameter count and no reduction in inference speed.

DSSP: Diffusion State Space Policy with Full-History Encoding

Diffusion-based imitation learning has shown strong promise for robot manipulation. However, most existing policies condition only on the current observation or a short window of recent observations, limiting their ability to resolve history-dependent ambiguities in long-horizon tasks. To address this, we introduce DSSP, a history-conditioned Diffusion State Space Policy that enables efficient, full-history conditioning for robot manipulation. Leveraging the continuous sequence modeling properties of State Space Models (SSMs), our history encoder effectively compresses the entire observation stream into a compact context representation. To ensure this context preserves critical information regarding future state evolution, the encoder is optimized with a dynamics-aware auxiliary training objective. This high-level context representation is then seamlessly fused with recent state observations to form a hierarchical conditioning mechanism for action generation. Furthermore, to maintain architectural consistency and minimize GPU memory overhead, we also instantiate the diffusion backbone itself using an SSM. Extensive experiments across simulation benchmarks and real-world manipulation tasks show that DSSP achieves state-of-the-art performance with a significantly smaller model size, demonstrating superior efficiency of the hierarchical conditioning in capturing crucial information as the history length increases.

GRank: Towards Target-Aware and Streamlined Industrial Retrieval with a Generate-Rank Framework

Industrial-scale recommender systems rely on a cascade pipeline in which the retrieval stage must return a high-recall candidate set from billions of items under tight latency. Existing solutions either (i) suffer from limited expressiveness in capturing fine-grained user-item interactions, as seen in decoupled dual-tower architectures that rely on separate encoders, or generative models that lack precise target-aware matching capabilities, or (ii) build structured indices (tree, graph, quantization) whose item-centric topologies struggle to incorporate dynamic user preferences and incur prohibitive construction and maintenance costs. We present GRank, a novel structured-index-free retrieval paradigm that seamlessly unifies target-aware learning with user-centric retrieval. Our key innovations include: (1) A target-aware Generator trained to perform personalized candidate generation via GPU-accelerated MIPS, eliminating semantic drift and maintenance costs of structured indexing; (2) A lightweight but powerful Ranker that performs fine-grained, candidate-specific inference on small subsets; (3) An end-to-end multi-task learning framework that ensures semantic consistency between generation and ranking objectives. Extensive experiments on two public benchmarks and a billion-item production corpus demonstrate that GRank improves Recall@500 by over 30% and 1.7$\times$ the P99 QPS of state-of-the-art tree- and graph-based retrievers. GRank has been fully deployed in production in our recommendation platform since Q2 2025, serving 400 million active users with 99.95% service availability. Online A/B tests confirm significant improvements in core engagement metrics, with Total App Usage Time increasing by 0.160% in the main app and 0.165% in the Lite version.
