Fashion-3DLR: A Controllable 3D Garment Generation Using Pairwise Fashion Elements for Intelligent Design

AI-generated content (AIGC) has made significant progress, with 2D generative models becoming ready-to-use tools for the digital fashion industry. However, 3D garment generation remains in its nascent stage, where in the realm of fashion, the semantic information of diverse design elements exhibits intricate coupling relationships in 3D representations, posing substantial challenges for generating diverse 3D garments. In this work, to handle the above problem, We introduce Fashion-3DLR, a novel 3D garment generation framework that utilizes diverse design elements to create high-quality, versatile 3D garment assets. Specifically, to bridge the semantic gaps between different fashion elements, we propose a Garment Feature Fusion Diffusion Transformer (GFF-DiT) module to integrate 2D fashion design elements, e.g., sketch and texture, into latent space. Within the latent space, we then employ a rectified flow transformer to generate geometry latents, which can be decoded into various 3D garment representations, including 3D Gaussians and meshes. Furthermore, we integrate Fashion-3DLR into downstream tasks, achieving the 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS)-driven cloth physical simulation and mesh-based virtual try-on. Experimental results indicate that Fashion-3DLR surpass the previous state-of-the-art methods, which verify that the proposed work can generate well-structured, non-watertight garments capable of physical simulation and virtual try-on, underscoring its potential as a versatile 3D garment design tool.

B-GRPO: Unsupervised Speech Emotion Recognition based on Batched-Group Relative Policy Optimization

Unsupervised speech emotion recognition (SER) focuses on addressing the problem of data sparsity and annotation bias of emotional speech. Reinforcement learning (RL) is a promising method which enhances the performance through rule-based or model-based verification functions rather than human annotations. We treat the sample selection during the learning process as a long-term procedure and whether to select a sample as the action to make policy, thus achieving the application of RL to measure sample quality in SER. We propose a modified Group Relative Policy Optimization (GRPO) to adapt it to classification problems, which takes the samples in a batch as a group and uses the average reward of these samples as the baseline to calculate the advantage. And rather than using a verifiable reward function as in GRPO, we put forward self-reward functions and teacher-reward functions to encourage the model to produce high-confidence outputs. Experiments indicate that the proposed method improves the performance of baseline without RL by 19.8%.

OneVoice: One Model, Triple Scenarios-Towards Unified Zero-shot Voice Conversion

Recent progress of voice conversion~(VC) has achieved a new milestone in speaker cloning and linguistic preservation. But the field remains fragmented, relying on specialized models for linguistic-preserving, expressive, and singing scenarios. We propose OneVoice, a unified zero-shot framework capable of handling all three scenarios within a single model. OneVoice is built upon a continuous language model trained with VAE-free next-patch diffusion, ensuring high fidelity and efficient sequence modeling. Its core design for unification lies in a Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) designed to explicitly model shared conversion knowledge and scenario-specific expressivity. Expert selection is coordinated by a dual-path routing mechanism, including shared expert isolation and scenario-aware domain expert assignment with global-local cues. For precise conditioning, scenario-specific prosodic features are fused into each layer via a gated mechanism, allowing adaptive usage of prosody information. Furthermore, to enable the core idea and alleviate the imbalanced issue (abundant speech vs. scarce singing), we adopt a two-stage progressive training that includes foundational pre-training and scenario enhancement with LoRA-based domain experts. Experiments show that OneVoice matches or surpasses specialized models across all three scenarios, while verifying flexible control over scenarios and offering a fast decoding version as few as 2 steps. Audio samples are available on demo page.

DisCo-Speech: Controllable Zero-Shot Speech Generation with A Disentangled Speech Codec

Codec-based language models (LMs) have revolutionized text-to-speech (TTS). However, standard codecs entangle timbre and prosody, which hinders independent control in continuation-based LMs. To tackle this challenge, we propose DisCo-Speech, a zero-shot controllable TTS framework featuring a disentangled speech codec (DisCodec) and an LM-based generator. The core component DisCodec employs a two-stage design: 1) tri-factor disentanglement to separate speech into content, prosody, and timbre subspaces via parallel encoders and hybrid losses; and 2) fusion and reconstruction that merges content and prosody into unified content-prosody tokens suitable for LM prediction, while jointly optimizing reconstruction to address the disentanglement-reconstruction trade-off. This allows the LM to perform prosodic continuation from a style prompt while the decoder injects target timbre, enabling flexible zero-shot control. Experiments demonstrate that DisCo-Speech achieves competitive voice cloning and superior zero-shot prosody control. By resolving the core entanglement at the codec level, DisCo-Speech provides a robust foundation for controllable speech synthesis.

High-resolution electric field imaging based on intermittent-contact mode scanning NV center electrometry

Scanning nitrogen-vacancy (NV) center electrometry has shown potential for quantitative quantum imaging of electric fields at the nanoscale. However, achieving nanoscale spatial resolution remains a challenge since employing gradiometry to overcome electrostatic screening causes resolution-limiting trade-offs including the averaging effect and the sensor-sample proximity. Here, we demonstrate a scanning NV center protocol that achieves an enhanced spatial resolution of approximately 10 nm. We develop an axially symmetric probe with a sub-nanometer oscillating amplitude, which simultaneously provides robust intermittent-contact mode feedback and ensures close engagement between the diamond tip and the sample. As an example, we experimentally demonstrate a 10 nm spatial resolution on ferroelectric lithium niobate. Scanning NV center electrometry with this resolution can directly resolve the nanoscale polar textures and dynamics of emerging ferroelectrics, which commonly arise on the scale of tens of nanometers.

Plugin Speech Enhancement: A Universal Speech Enhancement Framework Inspired by Dynamic Neural Network

The expectation to deploy a universal neural network for speech enhancement, with the aim of improving noise robustness across diverse speech processing tasks, faces challenges due to the existing lack of awareness within static speech enhancement frameworks regarding the expected speech in downstream modules. These limitations impede the effectiveness of static speech enhancement approaches in achieving optimal performance for a range of speech processing tasks, thereby challenging the notion of universal applicability. The fundamental issue in achieving universal speech enhancement lies in effectively informing the speech enhancement module about the features of downstream modules. In this study, we present a novel weighting prediction approach, which explicitly learns the task relationships from downstream training information to address the core challenge of universal speech enhancement. We found the role of deciding whether to employ data augmentation techniques as crucial downstream training information. This decision significantly impacts the expected speech and the performance of the speech enhancement module. Moreover, we introduce a novel speech enhancement network, the Plugin Speech Enhancement (Plugin-SE). The Plugin-SE is a dynamic neural network that includes the speech enhancement module, gate module, and weight prediction module. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed Plugin-SE approach is competitive or superior to other joint training methods across various downstream tasks.

Cascaded Multi-task Adaptive Learning Based on Neural Architecture Search

Cascading multiple pre-trained models is an effective way to compose an end-to-end system. However, fine-tuning the full cascaded model is parameter and memory inefficient and our observations reveal that only applying adapter modules on cascaded model can not achieve considerable performance as fine-tuning. We propose an automatic and effective adaptive learning method to optimize end-to-end cascaded multi-task models based on Neural Architecture Search (NAS) framework. The candidate adaptive operations on each specific module consist of frozen, inserting an adapter and fine-tuning. We further add a penalty item on the loss to limit the learned structure which takes the amount of trainable parameters into account. The penalty item successfully restrict the searched architecture and the proposed approach is able to search similar tuning scheme with hand-craft, compressing the optimizing parameters to 8.7% corresponding to full fine-tuning on SLURP with an even better performance.

GenDistiller: Distilling Pre-trained Language Models based on Generative Models

Self-supervised pre-trained models such as HuBERT and WavLM leverage unlabeled speech data for representation learning and offer significantly improve for numerous downstream tasks. Despite the success of these methods, their large memory and strong computational requirements hinder their application on resource restricted devices. Therefore, this paper introduces GenDistiller, a novel knowledge distillation framework to distill hidden representations from teacher network based on generative language model. The generative structure enables the proposed model to generate the target teacher hidden layers autoregressively, considering the interactions between hidden layers without instroducing additional inputs. A two-dimensional attention mechanism is implemented to ensure the causality of hidden layers, while preserving bidirectional attention in the time dimension. Experiments reveal the advantage of the generative distiller over the baseline system that predicts the hidden layers of teacher network directly without a generatvie model.
