OMG-Agent: Toward Robust Missing Modality Generation with Decoupled Coarse-to-Fine Agentic Workflows

Data incompleteness severely impedes the reliability of multimodal systems. Existing reconstruction methods face distinct bottlenecks: conventional parametric/generative models are prone to hallucinations due to over-reliance on internal memory, while retrieval-augmented frameworks struggle with retrieval rigidity. Critically, these end-to-end architectures are fundamentally constrained by Semantic-Detail Entanglement -- a structural conflict between logical reasoning and signal synthesis that compromises fidelity. In this paper, we present \textbf{\underline{O}}mni-\textbf{\underline{M}}odality \textbf{\underline{G}}eneration Agent (\textbf{OMG-Agent}), a novel framework that shifts the paradigm from static mapping to a dynamic coarse-to-fine Agentic Workflow. By mimicking a \textit{deliberate-then-act} cognitive process, OMG-Agent explicitly decouples the task into three synergistic stages: (1) an MLLM-driven Semantic Planner that resolves input ambiguity via Progressive Contextual Reasoning, creating a deterministic structured semantic plan; (2) a non-parametric Evidence Retriever that grounds abstract semantics in external knowledge; and (3) a Retrieval-Injected Executor that utilizes retrieved evidence as flexible feature prompts to overcome rigidity and synthesize high-fidelity details. Extensive experiments on multiple benchmarks demonstrate that OMG-Agent consistently surpasses state-of-the-art methods, maintaining robustness under extreme missingness, e.g., a $2.6$-point gain on CMU-MOSI at $70$\% missing rates.

HER: Human-like Reasoning and Reinforcement Learning for LLM Role-playing

LLM role-playing, i.e., using LLMs to simulate specific personas, has emerged as a key capability in various applications, such as companionship, content creation and digital games. While current models effectively capture character tones and knowledge, simulating the inner thoughts behind their behaviors remains a challenge. Towards cognitive simulation in LLM role-play, previous efforts mainly suffer from two deficiencies: lacking data with high-quality reasoning traces, and lacking reliable reward signals aligned with human preferences. In this paper, we propose HER, a unified framework for cognitive-level persona simulation. HER introduces dual-layer thinking, which distinguishes characters' first-person thinking from LLMs' third-person thinking. To bridge these gaps, we curate reasoning-augmented role-playing data via reverse engineering, and construct human-aligned principles and reward models. Leveraging these resources, we train HER models based on Qwen3-32B via supervised and reinforcement learning. Extensive experiments validate the effectiveness of our approach. Notably, our models significantly outperform the Qwen3-32B baseline, achieving a 30.26 improvement on the CoSER benchmark and a 14.97% gain on the Minimax Role-Play Bench. Our datasets, principles, and models are released to facilitate future research.

DefectHunter: A Novel LLM-Driven Boosted-Conformer-based Code Vulnerability Detection Mechanism

One of the most pressing threats to computing systems is software vulnerabilities, which can compromise both hardware and software components. Existing methods for vulnerability detection remain suboptimal. Traditional techniques are both time-consuming and labor-intensive, while machine-learning-based approaches often underperform when applied to complex datasets, due to their inability to capture high-dimensional relationships. Previous deep-learning strategies also fall short in capturing sufficient feature information. Although self-attention mechanisms can process information over long distances, they fail to capture structural information. In this paper, we introduce DefectHunter, an innovative model for vulnerability identification that employs the Conformer mechanism. This mechanism fuses self-attention with convolutional networks to capture both local, position-wise features and global, content-based interactions. Furthermore, we optimize the self-attention mechanisms to mitigate the issue of excessive attention heads introducing extraneous noise by adjusting the denominator. We evaluated DefectHunter against ten baseline methods using six industrial and two highly complex datasets. On the QEMU dataset, DefectHunter exhibited a 20.62\% improvement in accuracy over Pongo-70B, and for the CWE-754 dataset, its accuracy was 14.64\% higher. To investigate how DefectHunter comprehends vulnerabilities, we conducted a case study, which revealed that our model effectively understands the mechanisms underlying vulnerabilities.

JFinder: A Novel Architecture for Java Vulnerability Identification Based Quad Self-Attention and Pre-training Mechanism

Software vulnerabilities pose significant risks to computer systems, impacting our daily lives, productivity, and even our health. Identifying and addressing security vulnerabilities in a timely manner is crucial to prevent hacking and data breaches. Unfortunately, current vulnerability identification methods, including classical and deep learning-based approaches, exhibit critical drawbacks that prevent them from meeting the demands of the contemporary software industry. To tackle these issues, we present JFinder, a novel architecture for Java vulnerability identification that leverages quad self-attention and pre-training mechanisms to combine structural information and semantic representations. Experimental results demonstrate that JFinder outperforms all baseline methods, achieving an accuracy of 0.97 on the CWE dataset and an F1 score of 0.84 on the PROMISE dataset. Furthermore, a case study reveals that JFinder can accurately identify four cases of vulnerabilities after patching.
