Wi-Fi Sensing Tool Release: Gathering 802.11ax Channel State Information from a Commercial Wi-Fi Access Point

Wi-Fi sensing has emerged as a powerful technology, leveraging channel state information (CSI) extracted from wireless data packets to enable diverse applications, ranging from human presence detection to gesture recognition and health monitoring. However, CSI extraction from commercial Wi-Fi access point lacks and out of date. This paper introduces ZTECSITool,a toolkit designed to capture high-resolution CSI measurements from commercial Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) access points, supporting bandwidths up to 160 MHz and 512 subcarriers. ZTECSITool bridges a critical gap in Wi-Fi sensing research, facilitating the development of next-generation sensing systems. The toolkit includes customized firmware and open-source software tools for configuring, collecting, and parsing CSI data, offering researchers a robust platform for advanced sensing applications. We detail the command protocols for CSI extraction, including band selection,STA filtering, and report configuration, and provide insights into the data structure of the reported CSI. Additionally, we present a Python-based graphical interface for real-time CSI visualization and analysis

A Statistical Learning-Based Algorithm for Topology Verification in Natural Gas Networks Based on Noisy Sensor Measurements

Accurate knowledge of natural gas network topology is critical for the proper operation of natural gas networks. Failures, physical attacks, and cyber attacks can cause the actual natural gas network topology to differ from what the operator believes to be present. Incorrect topology information misleads the operator to apply inappropriate control causing damage and lack of gas supply. Several methods for verifying the topology have been suggested in the literature for electrical power distribution networks, but we are not aware of any publications for natural gas networks. In this paper, we develop a useful topology verification algorithm for natural gas networks based on modifying a general known statistics-based approach to eliminate serious limitations for this application while maintaining good performance. We prove that the new algorithm is equivalent to the original statistics-based approach for a sufficiently large number of sensor observations. We provide new closed-form expressions for the asymptotic performance that are shown to be accurate for the typical number of sensor observations required to achieve reliable performance.

Exploration of CPT violation via time-dependent geometric quantities embedded in neutrino oscillation through fluctuating matter

We propose a new approach to explore CPT violation of neutrino oscillation through a fluctuating matter based on time-dependent geometric quantities. By mapping the neutrino oscillation onto a Poincare sphere structure, we obtain an analytic solution of master equation and further define the geometric quantities, i.e., radius of Poincare sphere and geometric phase. We find that the mixing process between electron and muon neutrinos can be described by the radius of Poincare sphere that depends on the intrinsic CP-violating angle. Such a radius reveals a dynamic mechanism of CPT-violation, i.e., both spontaneous symmetry breaking and Majorana-Dirac neutrino confusion. We show that the time-dependent geometric phase can be used to find the neutrino nature and observe the CPT-violation because it is strongly enhanced under the neutrino propagation. We further show that the time-dependent geometric phase can be easily detected by simulating the neutrino oscillation based on fluctuating magnetic fields in nuclear magnetic resonance, which makes the experimental observation of CPT-violation possible in the neutrino mixing and oscillation.

Noise effects and perfect controlled remote state preparation

We investigate all possible noise environments for controlled remote state preparation. We find that the optimal efficiency is not only dependent on the isolate decay rate but also dependent on the coupling term of environments. Such a coupling provides a clue to control the noisy quantum system for realistic quantum communication. We show that, furthermore, the noise channel can be used as an important resource for quantum information tasks. Especially, an approach is proposed to realize a perfect controlled remote state preparation under the noisy effects environments by choosing the noisy environments and adjusting their relations in terms of noisy rates.

A scheme for unconventional geometric quantum computation in cavity QED

We present a scheme for implementing the unconventional geometric two-qubit phase gate with nonzero dynamical phase by using the two-channel Raman interaction of two atoms in a cavity. We show that the dynamical phase acquired in a cyclic evolution is proportional to the geometric phase acquired in the same cyclic evolution, hence the the total phase possesses the same geometric features as the geometric phase. In our scheme the atomic excited state is adiabatically eliminated and the operation of the proposed logic gate involves only in the metastable states of the atom and hence is not affected by spontaneous emission.
