ProRetrieval: Learning to Orchestrate Hybrid Search via Executable Program Synthesis

Real-world retrieval often composes structured constraints with semantic intents over text and images through arbitrary Boolean logic. Existing hybrid pipelines such as reciprocal rank fusion or self-querying retrievers admit only a fixed form of composition, while recent reinforcement-learning retrievers train the language model as a query generator for a single backend, leaving the orchestration of heterogeneous retrieval paths outside its action space. We propose ProRetrieval, which recasts the language model as a retrieval orchestrator: given a natural-language query, it synthesizes an executable program in a hybrid DSL interleaving SQL operators over structured fields with vector-retrieval primitives over text and images, with SQL itself providing the logical algebra that fuses heterogeneous candidate sets. We train Qwen3-4B with GRPO and DAPO under a hierarchical four-term reward, and evaluate on two new benchmarks built from Amazon products and Enron email. Our 4B model surpasses GPT-5.5 (Hit@1 0.81 vs. 0.69 on e-commerce; 0.91 vs. 0.86 on email) and Claude Opus 4.7 and a comprehensive suite of retrieval, LLM-augmented, structured-query, and graph-based baselines. DocPC: Document-Level Visual Retrieval via Representative Page Composition

Visual document retrieval has advanced by encoding page screenshots with vision-language models, bypassing OCR pipelines. However, existing methods remain page-centric, misaligned with real-world scenarios requiring complete document retrieval. A naive page-then-document aggregation suffers from linear indexing cost and degraded retrieval when relevance spans multiple pages. We propose DocPC, a document-level visual retrieval framework based on Representative Page Composition: selecting representative pages and composing them into a single grid image for document-level indexing, reducing indexed images, vectors, and storage by 10.1x and end-to-end indexing time by roughly 7.7x. To handle multi-positive supervision prevalent at the document level, we combine multi-positive contrastive learning with sparsely scheduled listwise optimization. We also introduce DocViRe, a benchmark with multi-positive relevance annotations. DocPC-ColQwen achieves NDCG@5 of 44.09 on DocViRe, outperforming the strongest page-level baseline at 38.91 while reducing storage by 10.1x. Code is available at https://anonymous.4open.science/r/DocPC-Document-Level-Visual-Retrieval-via-Representative-Page-Composition-1D52. ASI-Bench: At the Dawn of Artificial Superintelligence

Artificial superintelligence (ASI) requires AI to move beyond mastering existing knowledge toward exploring the unknown, creating new knowledge, and turning new ideas into verifiable results. However, the capabilities of today's AI systems are still largely built on learning, compressing, and applying existing human knowledge. Accordingly, existing benchmarks primarily test whether AI can produce correct answers based on learned knowledge, or whether it can complete tasks under extensive human guidance. We therefore introduce ASI-Bench, the first benchmark to jointly evaluate AI systems' capabilities of innovative exploration and autonomous scientific execution across general research domains, and the first to progressively withdraw human methodological guidance within the same research project to test how far AI can proceed on its own. Built by over 40 experts with the cost of 31,000+ human hours, ASI-Bench contains 60 project-level research tasks across 11 scientific domains and progressively reduces methodological guidance to test whether AI can independently select methods, conduct research, and produce verifiable results. All tasks undergo expert review, AI-assisted auditing, sandbox execution, and scorer validation. Across 18 state-of-the-art agent--model configurations, the average score drops from 50.91 with full methodological guidance to 29.10 with only the method specified and 26.62 when agents must determine the method themselves. This sharp decline shows that current systems remain heavily dependent on human guidance and are still far from autonomously conducting end-to-end, project-level scientific research. ASI-Bench is open to the world. We invite researchers and builders everywhere to contribute new tasks, challenge the limits of today's AI, and help accelerate humanity's collective path toward artificial superintelligence at https://asibench.apexin.ai/submit.

Seasonal thermal stress analysis of defective mass concrete sidewalls based on the average forming temperature method

Thermal cracking in urban underground sidewalls is frequently observed when structures are cast in summer and enter service in winter, as seasonal temperature gradients act under structural restraint. To quantify the local stress field associated with pre-existing cracks, an orthogonal finite-element simulation matrix of 16 combinations is constructed. Distributions of maximum principal stress () at the surface crack tip and along the upper half of the crack bottom are evaluated using steady-state thermal loading and a linear-elastic constitutive model. Across all cases, pronounced tensile stress concentration occurs at both locations: the maximum ranges from 19.2 to 34.1 MPa at the crack surface end and from 17.2 to 29.4 MPa at the crack bottom. These concentrated values are consistently higher than the stress level at the same locations in an otherwise identical uncracked wall, clarifying how seasonal temperature gradients under restraint amplify local stresses around existing defects. The quantitative ranges reported here provide a basis for risk screening and for formulating practical mitigation measures (e.g., joint spacing and insulation strategies) in the design and operation of urban underground enclosure walls. In addition, three-dimensional simulations of randomly distributed internal voids show that adopting average forming temperature increases the peak tensile stress on void surfaces from 3.42 to 4.40 MPa at 10 deg C and from 5.98 to 6.96 MPa at -5 deg C, further highlighting the risk amplification effect of AFT under cold service conditions.

Preemptive Spatiotemporal Trajectory Adjustment for Heterogeneous Vehicles in Highway Merging Zones

Aiming at the problem of driver's perception lag and low utilization efficiency of space-time resources in expressway ramp confluence area, based on the preemptive spatiotemporal trajectory Adjustment system, from the perspective of coordinating spatiotemporal resources, the reasonable value of safe space-time distance in trajectory pre-preparation is quantitatively analyzed. The minimum safety gap required for ramp vehicles to merge into the mainline is analyzed by introducing double positioning error and spatiotemporal trajectory tracking error. A merging control strategy for autonomous driving heterogeneous vehicles is proposed, which integrates vehicle type, driving intention, and safety spatiotemporal distance. The specific confluence strategies of ramp target vehicles and mainline cooperative vehicles under different vehicle types are systematically expounded. A variety of traffic flow and speed scenarios are used for full combination simulation. By comparing the time-position-speed diagram, the vehicle operation characteristics and the dynamic difference of confluence are qualitatively analyzed, and the average speed and average delay are used as the evaluation indices to quantitatively evaluate the performance advantages of the preemptive cooperative confluence control strategy. The results show that the maximum average delay improvement rates of mainline and ramp vehicles are 90.24 % and 74.24 %, respectively. The proposed strategy can effectively avoid potential vehicle conflicts and emergency braking behaviors, improve driving safety in the confluence area, and show significant advantages in driving stability and overall traffic efficiency optimization.

Benchmarking Generalizable Bimanual Manipulation: RoboTwin Dual-Arm Collaboration Challenge at CVPR 2025 MEIS Workshop

Embodied Artificial Intelligence (Embodied AI) is an emerging frontier in robotics, driven by the need for autonomous systems that can perceive, reason, and act in complex physical environments. While single-arm systems have shown strong task performance, collaborative dual-arm systems are essential for handling more intricate tasks involving rigid, deformable, and tactile-sensitive objects. To advance this goal, we launched the RoboTwin Dual-Arm Collaboration Challenge at the 2nd MEIS Workshop, CVPR 2025. Built on the RoboTwin Simulation platform (1.0 and 2.0) and the AgileX COBOT-Magic Robot platform, the competition consisted of three stages: Simulation Round 1, Simulation Round 2, and a final Real-World Round. Participants totally tackled 17 dual-arm manipulation tasks, covering rigid, deformable, and tactile-based scenarios. The challenge attracted 64 global teams and over 400 participants, producing top-performing solutions like SEM and AnchorDP3 and generating valuable insights into generalizable bimanual policy learning. This report outlines the competition setup, task design, evaluation methodology, key findings and future direction, aiming to support future research on robust and generalizable bimanual manipulation policies. AnchorDP3: 3D Affordance Guided Sparse Diffusion Policy for Robotic Manipulation

We present AnchorDP3, a diffusion policy framework for dual-arm robotic manipulation that achieves state-of-the-art performance in highly randomized environments. AnchorDP3 integrates three key innovations: (1) Simulator-Supervised Semantic Segmentation, using rendered ground truth to explicitly segment task-critical objects within the point cloud, which provides strong affordance priors; (2) Task-Conditioned Feature Encoders, lightweight modules processing augmented point clouds per task, enabling efficient multi-task learning through a shared diffusion-based action expert; (3) Affordance-Anchored Keypose Diffusion with Full State Supervision, replacing dense trajectory prediction with sparse, geometrically meaningful action anchors, i.e., keyposes such as pre-grasp pose, grasp pose directly anchored to affordances, drastically simplifying the prediction space; the action expert is forced to predict both robot joint angles and end-effector poses simultaneously, which exploits geometric consistency to accelerate convergence and boost accuracy. Trained on large-scale, procedurally generated simulation data, AnchorDP3 achieves a 98.7% average success rate in the RoboTwin benchmark across diverse tasks under extreme randomization of objects, clutter, table height, lighting, and backgrounds. This framework, when integrated with the RoboTwin real-to-sim pipeline, has the potential to enable fully autonomous generation of deployable visuomotor policies from only scene and instruction, totally eliminating human demonstrations from learning manipulation skills.

STNet: Spatial and Temporal feature fusion network for change detection in remote sensing images

As an important task in remote sensing image analysis, remote sensing change detection (RSCD) aims to identify changes of interest in a region from spatially co-registered multi-temporal remote sensing images, so as to monitor the local development. Existing RSCD methods usually formulate RSCD as a binary classification task, representing changes of interest by merely feature concatenation or feature subtraction and recovering the spatial details via densely connected change representations, whose performances need further improvement. In this paper, we propose STNet, a RSCD network based on spatial and temporal feature fusions. Specifically, we design a temporal feature fusion (TFF) module to combine bi-temporal features using a cross-temporal gating mechanism for emphasizing changes of interest; a spatial feature fusion module is deployed to capture fine-grained information using a cross-scale attention mechanism for recovering the spatial details of change representations. Experimental results on three benchmark datasets for RSCD demonstrate that the proposed method achieves the state-of-the-art performance. Code is available at https://github.com/xwmaxwma/rschange.

SACANet: scene-aware class attention network for semantic segmentation of remote sensing images

Spatial attention mechanism has been widely used in semantic segmentation of remote sensing images given its capability to model long-range dependencies. Many methods adopting spatial attention mechanism aggregate contextual information using direct relationships between pixels within an image, while ignoring the scene awareness of pixels (i.e., being aware of the global context of the scene where the pixels are located and perceiving their relative positions). Given the observation that scene awareness benefits context modeling with spatial correlations of ground objects, we design a scene-aware attention module based on a refined spatial attention mechanism embedding scene awareness. Besides, we present a local-global class attention mechanism to address the problem that general attention mechanism introduces excessive background noises while hardly considering the large intra-class variance in remote sensing images. In this paper, we integrate both scene-aware and class attentions to propose a scene-aware class attention network (SACANet) for semantic segmentation of remote sensing images. Experimental results on three datasets show that SACANet outperforms other state-of-the-art methods and validate its effectiveness. Code is available at https://github.com/xwmaxwma/rssegmentation.

LoG-CAN: local-global Class-aware Network for semantic segmentation of remote sensing images

Remote sensing images are known of having complex backgrounds, high intra-class variance and large variation of scales, which bring challenge to semantic segmentation. We present LoG-CAN, a multi-scale semantic segmentation network with a global class-aware (GCA) module and local class-aware (LCA) modules to remote sensing images. Specifically, the GCA module captures the global representations of class-wise context modeling to circumvent background interference; the LCA modules generate local class representations as intermediate aware elements, indirectly associating pixels with global class representations to reduce variance within a class; and a multi-scale architecture with GCA and LCA modules yields effective segmentation of objects at different scales via cascaded refinement and fusion of features. Through the evaluation on the ISPRS Vaihingen dataset and the ISPRS Potsdam dataset, experimental results indicate that LoG-CAN outperforms the state-of-the-art methods for general semantic segmentation, while significantly reducing network parameters and computation. Automated Generating Natural Language Requirements based on Domain Ontology

Software requirements specification is undoubtedly critical for the whole software life-cycle. Nowadays, writing software requirements specifications primarily depends on human work. Although massive studies have been proposed to fasten the process via proposing advanced elicitation and analysis techniques, it is still a time-consuming and error-prone task that needs to take domain knowledge and business information into consideration. In this paper, we propose an approach, named ReqGen, which can provide recommendations by automatically generating natural language requirements specifications based on certain given keywords. Specifically, ReqGen consists of three critical steps. First, keywords-oriented knowledge is selected from domain ontology and is injected to the basic Unified pre-trained Language Model (UniLM) for domain fine-tuning. Second, a copy mechanism is integrated to ensure the occurrence of keywords in the generated statements. Finally, a requirement syntax constrained decoding is designed to close the semantic and syntax distance between the candidate and reference specifications. Experiments on two public datasets from different groups and domains show that ReqGen outperforms six popular natural language generation approaches with respect to the hard constraint of keywords(phrases) inclusion, BLEU, ROUGE and syntax compliance. We believe that ReqGen can promote the efficiency and intelligence of specifying software requirements.

A Preliminary Study on the Potential Usefulness of Open Domain Model for Missing Software Requirements Recommendation

Completeness is one of the most important attributes of software requirement specifications. Unfortunately, incompleteness is meanwhile one of the most difficult problems to detect. Some approaches have been proposed to detect missing requirements based on the requirement-oriented domain model. However, this kind of models are lacking for lots of domains. Fortunately, the domain models constructed for different purposes can usually be found online. This raises a question: whether or not these domain models are helpful in finding the missing functional information in requirement specification? To explore this question, we design and conduct a preliminary study by computing the overlapping rate between the entities in domain models and the concepts of natural language software requirements and then digging into four regularities of the occurrence of these entities(concepts) based on two example domains. The usefulness of these regularities, especially the one based on our proposed metric AHME (with F2 gains of 146% and 223% on the two domains than without any regularity), has been shown in experiments.
