MPerS: Dynamic MLLM MixExperts Perception-Guided Remote Sensing Scene Segmentation

The multimodal fusion of images and scene captions has been extensively explored and applied in various fields. However, when dealing with complex remote sensing (RS) scenes, existing studies have predominantly concentrated on architectural optimizations for integrating textual semantic information with visual features, while largely neglecting the generation of high-quality RS captions and the investigation of their effectiveness in multimodal semantic fusion. In this context, we propose the Dynamic MLLM Mixture-of-Experts Perception-Guided Remote Sensing Scene Segmentation, referred to as MPerS.We design multiple prompts for MLLMs to generate high-quality RS captions, enabling MLLMs to perceive RS scenes from diverse expert perspectives. DINOv3 is employed to extract dense visual representations of land-covers.We design a Dynamic MixExperts module that adaptively integrates the most effective textual semantics. Linguistic Query Guided Attention is constructed to utilize textual semantic information to guide visual features for precise segmentation. The MLLMs include LLaVA, ChatGPT, and Qwen. Our method achieves superior performance on three public semantic segmentation RS datasets.

LLM Agents Enable User-Governed Personalization Beyond Platform Boundaries

Personalization today is fundamentally platform-centric: services build user representations from the behavioral fragments they observe. Yet no platform can construct a complete picture of the user, as competitive incentives, legal constraints, user privacy concerns, and epistemic limits create persistent data barriers. This paper argues for a shift from platform-centric personalization to user-governed personalization, where only the user can integrate fragmented contexts across platforms and the offline world. The key asymmetry lies in data access: only users can aggregate their own cross-platform and offline information. Large language model (LLM) agents make such integration practically feasible for the first time by enabling reasoning over heterogeneous personal data and transforming users' cross-context information into actionable personalization capabilities. We provide proof-of-concept evidence that users equipped with cross-platform data exports and an off-the-shelf LLM agent can outperform single-platform personalization baselines. We conclude by outlining a research agenda for building scalable user-governed personalization systems.

ExpoCM: Exposure-Aware One-Step Generative Single-Image HDR Reconstruction

Single-image HDR reconstruction aims to recover high dynamic range radiance from a single low dynamic range (LDR) input, but remains highly ill-posed due to detail saturation in over-exposed regions and noise amplification in under-exposed areas. While recent diffusion-based approaches offer powerful generative priors, they often overlook the exposure-dependent nature of the degradation and incur substantial computational costs from iterative sampling. To address these challenges, we propose ExpoCM, a novel one-step generative HDR reconstruction framework that reformulates HDR reconstruction as a Probability Flow ODE (PF-ODE) and constructs exposure-aware consistency trajectories via exposure-dependent perturbations. Specifically, a soft exposure mask is first constructed to separate the LDR image into over-, under-, and well-exposed regions. Based on this partition, region-conditioned consistency trajectories are designed to hallucinate saturated details, suppress noise in dark regions, and preserve reliable structures within a single, distillation-free inference step. To further enhance perceptual quality, we introduce an Exposure-guided Luminance-Chromaticity Loss in the CIE~$\text{L}^*\text{a}^*\text{b}^*$ space, which assigns exposure-aware weights to luminance and chromaticity components, effectively mitigating brightness bias and color drift. Extensive experiments on the HDR-REAL, HDR-EYE, and AIM2025 benchmarks demonstrate that ExpoCM achieves state-of-the-art fidelity and perceptual accuracy, while enabling over 400$\times$ and 20$\times$ faster inference compared to DDPM (1000 steps) and DDIM (50 steps), respectively.

Trajectory2Task: Training Robust Tool-Calling Agents with Synthesized Yet Verifiable Data for Complex User Intents

Tool-calling agents are increasingly deployed in real-world customer-facing workflows. Yet most studies on tool-calling agents focus on idealized settings with general, fixed, and well-specified tasks. In real-world applications, user requests are often (1) ambiguous, (2) changing over time, or (3) infeasible due to policy constraints, and training and evaluation data that cover these diverse, complex interaction patterns remain under-represented. To bridge the gap, we present Trajectory2Task, a verifiable data generation pipeline for studying tool use at scale under three realistic user scenarios: ambiguous intent, changing intent, and infeasible intents. The pipeline first conducts multi-turn exploration to produce valid tool-call trajectories. It then converts these trajectories into user-facing tasks with controlled intent adaptations. This process yields verifiable task that support closed-loop evaluation and training. We benchmark seven state-of-the-art LLMs on the generated complex user scenario tasks and observe frequent failures. Finally, using successful trajectories obtained from task rollouts, we fine-tune lightweight LLMs and find consistent improvements across all three conditions, along with better generalization to unseen tool-use domains, indicating stronger tool-calling ability.

TriEx: A Game-based Tri-View Framework for Explaining Internal Reasoning in Multi-Agent LLMs

Explainability for Large Language Model (LLM) agents is especially challenging in interactive, partially observable settings, where decisions depend on evolving beliefs and other agents. We present \textbf{TriEx}, a tri-view explainability framework that instruments sequential decision making with aligned artifacts: (i) structured first-person self-reasoning bound to an action, (ii) explicit second-person belief states about opponents updated over time, and (iii) third-person oracle audits grounded in environment-derived reference signals. This design turns explanations from free-form narratives into evidence-anchored objects that can be compared and checked across time and perspectives. Using imperfect-information strategic games as a controlled testbed, we show that TriEx enables scalable analysis of explanation faithfulness, belief dynamics, and evaluator reliability, revealing systematic mismatches between what agents say, what they believe, and what they do. Our results highlight explainability as an interaction-dependent property and motivate multi-view, evidence-grounded evaluation for LLM agents. SocialMirror: Reconstructing 3D Human Interaction Behaviors from Monocular Videos with Semantic and Geometric Guidance

Accurately reconstructing human behavior in close-interaction scenarios is crucial for enabling realistic virtual interactions in augmented reality, precise motion analysis in sports, and natural collaborative behavior in human-robot tasks. Reliable reconstruction in these contexts significantly enhances the realism and effectiveness of AI-driven interactive applications. However, human reconstruction from monocular videos in close-interaction scenarios remains challenging due to severe mutual occlusions, leading local motion ambiguity, disrupted temporal continuity and spatial relationship error. In this paper, we propose SocialMirror, a diffusion-based framework that integrates semantic and geometric cues to effectively address these issues. Specifically, we first leverage high-level interaction descriptions generated by a vision-language model to guide a semantic-guided motion infiller, hallucinating occluded bodies and resolving local pose ambiguities. Next, we propose a sequence-level temporal refiner that enforces smooth, jitter-free motions, while incorporating geometric constraints during sampling to ensure plausible contact and spatial relationships. Evaluations on multiple interaction benchmarks show that SocialMirror achieves state-of-the-art performance in reconstructing interactive human meshes, demonstrating strong generalization across unseen datasets and in-the-wild scenarios. The code will be released upon publication.

ResearchCube: Multi-Dimensional Trade-off Exploration for Research Ideation

Research ideation requires navigating trade-offs across multiple evaluative dimensions, yet most AI-assisted ideation tools leave this multi-dimensional reasoning unsupported, or reducing evaluation to unipolar scales where "more is better". We present ResearchCube, a system that reframes evaluation dimensions as bipolar trade-off spectra (e.g., theory-driven vs. data-driven) and renders research ideas as manipulable points in a user-constructed 3D evaluation space. Given a research intent, the system proposes candidate bipolar dimension pairs; users select up to three to define the axes of a personalized evaluation cube. Four spatial interactions -- AI-scaffolded dimension generation, 3D navigation with face snapping, drag-based idea steering, and drag-based synthesis -- enable researchers to explore and refine ideas through direct manipulation rather than text prompts. A qualitative study with 11 researchers revealed that (1) bipolar dimensions served as cognitive scaffolds that externalized evaluative thinking and offloaded working memory, (2) the spatial representation provided a sense of agency absent in chatbot-based AI tools, (3) participants desired fluid transitions across dimensionality levels -- from single-dimension focus to more than three dimensions, and (4) a productive tension emerged between AI-suggested starting dimensions and users' evolving desire for control. We distill these findings into design implications for multi-dimensional research ideation tools, including progressive dimensional control, fluid dimensionality, and transparent synthesis with provenance.

SpikingMamba: Towards Energy-Efficient Large Language Models via Knowledge Distillation from Mamba

Large Language Models (LLMs) have achieved remarkable performance across tasks but remain energy-intensive due to dense matrix operations. Spiking neural networks (SNNs) improve energy efficiency by replacing dense matrix multiplications with sparse accumulations. Their sparse spike activity enables efficient LLMs deployment on edge devices. However, prior SNN-based LLMs often sacrifice performance for efficiency, and recovering accuracy typically requires full pretraining, which is costly and impractical. To address this, we propose SpikingMamba, an energy-efficient SNN-based LLMs distilled from Mamba that improves energy efficiency with minimal accuracy sacrifice. SpikingMamba integrates two key components: (a) SI-LIF, a signed-integer spiking neuron that preserves semantic polarity through signed multi-level spike representations. (b) A training-exclusive Smoothed Gradient Compensation (SGC) path mitigating quantization loss while preserving spike-driven efficiency. We employ a single-stage distillation strategy to transfer the zero-shot ability of pretrained Mamba and further enhance it via reinforcement learning (RL). Experiments show that SpikingMamba-1.3B achieves a 4.76$\times$ energy benefit, with only a 4.78\% zero-shot accuracy gap compared to the original Mamba. The model achieves a further 2.55\% accuracy improvement after RL, narrowing the performance gap from 4.78\% to 2.23\%. Code is available at: https://github.com/HuuYuLong/SpikingMamba .

HY-Embodied-0.5: Embodied Foundation Models for Real-World Agents

We introduce HY-Embodied-0.5, a family of foundation models specifically designed for real-world embodied agents. To bridge the gap between general Vision-Language Models (VLMs) and the demands of embodied agents, our models are developed to enhance the core capabilities required by embodied intelligence: spatial and temporal visual perception, alongside advanced embodied reasoning for prediction, interaction, and planning. The HY-Embodied-0.5 suite comprises two primary variants: an efficient model with 2B activated parameters designed for edge deployment, and a powerful model with 32B activated parameters targeted for complex reasoning. To support the fine-grained visual perception essential for embodied tasks, we adopt a Mixture-of-Transformers (MoT) architecture to enable modality-specific computing. By incorporating latent tokens, this design effectively enhances the perceptual representation of the models. To improve reasoning capabilities, we introduce an iterative, self-evolving post-training paradigm. Furthermore, we employ on-policy distillation to transfer the advanced capabilities of the large model to the smaller variant, thereby maximizing the performance potential of the compact model. Extensive evaluations across 22 benchmarks, spanning visual perception, spatial reasoning, and embodied understanding, demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach. Our MoT-2B model outperforms similarly sized state-of-the-art models on 16 benchmarks, while the 32B variant achieves performance comparable to frontier models such as Gemini 3.0 Pro. In downstream robot control experiments, we leverage our robust VLM foundation to train an effective Vision-Language-Action (VLA) model, achieving compelling results in real-world physical evaluations. DIVERSED: Relaxed Speculative Decoding via Dynamic Ensemble Verification

Speculative decoding is an effective technique for accelerating large language model inference by drafting multiple tokens in parallel. In practice, its speedup is often bottlenecked by a rigid verification step that strictly enforces the accepted token distribution to exactly match the target model. This constraint leads to the rejection of many plausible tokens, lowering the acceptance rate and limiting overall time speedup. To overcome this limitation, we propose Dynamic Verification Relaxed Speculative Decoding (DIVERSED), a relaxed verification framework that improves time efficiency while preserving generation quality. DIVERSED learns an ensemble-based verifier that blends the draft and target model distributions with a task-dependent and context-dependent weight. We provide theoretical justification for our approach and demonstrate empirically that DIVERSED achieves substantially higher inference efficiency compared to standard speculative decoding methods. Cognibit: From Digital Exhaustion to Real-World Connection Through Gamified Territory Control and LLM-Powered Twin Networking

We present an LLM-powered social discovery platform that uses digital twins to autonomously evaluate interpersonal compatibility through behavioral simulation. The platform unifies three key pillars: (1) digital twins that engage in autonomous multi-turn conversations on behalf of users to estimate compatibility, (2) gamified territory conquest mechanics that incentivize real-world exploration and create organic settings for in-person encounters, and (3) AI companions that preserve persistent shared memory across devices. Built upon CogniPair's cognitive architecture (Ye et al., 2026), validated on the Columbia Speed Dating dataset (551 participants), our system extends prior simulation-only matching into a fully deployed social discovery environment. Through deployment, we derive empirical cost-quality baselines and identify fundamental scaling bottlenecks that remain hidden in component-level testing alone.

SVGS: Single-View to 3D Object Editing via Gaussian Splatting

Text-driven 3D scene editing has attracted considerable interest due to its convenience and user-friendliness. However, methods that rely on implicit 3D representations, such as Neural Radiance Fields (NeRF), while effective in rendering complex scenes, are hindered by slow processing speeds and limited control over specific regions of the scene. Moreover, existing approaches, including Instruct-NeRF2NeRF and GaussianEditor, which utilize multi-view editing strategies, frequently produce inconsistent results across different views when executing text instructions. This inconsistency can adversely affect the overall performance of the model, complicating the task of balancing the consistency of editing results with editing efficiency. To address these challenges, we propose a novel method termed Single-View to 3D Object Editing via Gaussian Splatting (SVGS), which is a single-view text-driven editing technique based on 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS). Specifically, in response to text instructions, we introduce a single-view editing strategy grounded in multi-view diffusion models, which reconstructs 3D scenes by leveraging only those views that yield consistent editing results. Additionally, we employ sparse 3D Gaussian Splatting as the 3D representation, which significantly enhances editing efficiency. We conducted a comparative analysis of SVGS against existing baseline methods across various scene settings, and the results indicate that SVGS outperforms its counterparts in both editing capability and processing speed, representing a significant advancement in 3D editing technology. BeetleFlow: An Integrative Deep Learning Pipeline for Beetle Image Processing

In entomology and ecology research, biologists often need to collect a large number of insects, among which beetles are the most common species. A common practice for biologists to organize beetles is to place them on trays and take a picture of each tray. Given the images of thousands of such trays, it is important to have an automated pipeline to process the large-scale data for further research. Therefore, we develop a 3-stage pipeline to detect all the beetles on each tray, sort and crop the image of each beetle, and do morphological segmentation on the cropped beetles. For detection, we design an iterative process utilizing a transformer-based open-vocabulary object detector and a vision-language model. For segmentation, we manually labeled 670 beetle images and fine-tuned two variants of a transformer-based segmentation model to achieve fine-grained segmentation of beetles with relatively high accuracy. The pipeline integrates multiple deep learning methods and is specialized for beetle image processing, which can greatly improve the efficiency to process large-scale beetle data and accelerate biological research.

HyperMotionX: The Dataset and Benchmark with DiT-Based Pose-Guided Human Image Animation of Complex Motions

Recent advances in diffusion models have significantly improved conditional video generation, particularly in the pose-guided human image animation task. Although existing methods are capable of generating high-fidelity and time-consistent animation sequences in regular motions and static scenes. However there are still obvious limitations when facing complex human body motions that contain highly dynamic, non-standard motions, and the lack of a high-quality benchmark for evaluation of complex human motion animations. To address this challenge, we propose a concise yet powerful DiT-based human animation generation baseline and design spatial low-frequency enhanced RoPE, a novel module that selectively enhances low-frequency spatial feature modeling by introducing learnable frequency scaling. Furthermore, we introduce the Open-HyperMotionX Dataset and HyperMotionX Bench, which provide high-quality human pose annotations and curated video clips for evaluating and improving pose-guided human image animation models under complex human motion conditions. Our method significantly improves structural stability and appearance consistency in highly dynamic human motion sequences. Extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of our dataset and proposed approach in advancing the generation quality of complex human motion image animations. From Image Generation to Infrastructure Design: a Multi-agent Pipeline for Street Design Generation

Realistic visual renderings of street-design scenarios are essential for public engagement in active transportation planning. Traditional approaches are labor-intensive, hindering collective deliberation and collaborative decision-making. While AI-assisted generative design shows transformative potential by enabling rapid creation of design scenarios, existing generative approaches typically require large amounts of domain-specific training data and struggle to enable precise spatial variations of design/configuration in complex street-view scenes. We introduce a multi-agent system that edits and redesigns bicycle facilities directly on real-world street-view imagery. The framework integrates lane localization, prompt optimization, design generation, and automated evaluation to synthesize realistic, contextually appropriate designs. Experiments across diverse urban scenarios demonstrate that the system can adapt to varying road geometries and environmental conditions, consistently yielding visually coherent and instruction-compliant results. This work establishes a foundation for applying multi-agent pipelines to transportation infrastructure planning and facility design.

Sovereign-OS: A Charter-Governed Operating System for Autonomous AI Agents with Verifiable Fiscal Discipline

As AI agents evolve from text generators into autonomous economic actors that accept jobs, manage budgets, and delegate to sub-agents, the absence of runtime governance becomes a critical gap. Existing frameworks orchestrate agent behavior but impose no fiscal constraints, require no earned permissions, and offer no tamper-evident audit trail. We introduce Sovereign-OS, a governance-first operating system that places every agent action under constitutional control. A declarative Charter (YAML) defines mission scope, fiscal boundaries, and success criteria. A CEO (Strategist) decomposes goals into dependency-aware task DAGs; a CFO (Treasury) gates each expenditure against budget caps, daily burn limits, and profitability floors via an auction-based bidding engine; Workers operate under earned-autonomy permissions governed by a dynamic TrustScore; and an Auditor (ReviewEngine) verifies outputs against Charter KPIs, sealing each report with a SHA-256 proof hash. Across our evaluation suite, Sovereign-OS blocks 100% of fiscal violations (30 scenarios), achieves 94% correct permission gating (200 trust-escalation missions), and maintains zero integrity failure over 1,200+ audit reports. The system further integrates Stripe for real-world payment processing, closing the loop from task planning to revenue collection. Our live demonstration walks through three scenarios: loading distinct Charters to observe divergent agent behavior, triggering CFO fiscal denials under budget and profitability constraints, and escalating a new worker's TrustScore from restricted to fully authorized with on-the-spot cryptographic audit verification.
