SAMV-DUSt3R: Instance-Centric 3D Scene Decoupling from Sparse Multi-Views

With the rising demand to decouple objects from 3D scenes, we propose SAMV-DUSt3R, an end-to-end model that injects SAM2 2D masks into MV-DUSt3R reconstruction. A Cross Flow Mask Block uses these masks to steer the network toward the target instance, jointly improving shape accuracy and achieving object-level disentanglement without multi-stage pipelines. To ensure reconstruction stability, a lightweight Spatial RankGNN selects the optimal reference view with a selection accuracy of 73.5\%. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method boosts average reconstruction precision by 11\% across various metrics compared to state-of-the-art baselines. These results reveal a strong instance-disentanglement capability and clear benefits for driving, robotics, AR/VR, and heritage digitisation.

GHOST: Geometry-Guided Hallucination of Opaque Surface Textures

Transparent objects pose a fundamental challenge for depth estimation and 3D reconstruction due to their violation of Lambertian assumptions, leading to severe geometry degradation in downstream tasks. To address this, we propose a novel geometry-guided preprocessing framework \textbf{GHOST} that leverages visual foundation models to transform transparent regions into opaque, structurally consistent representations without requiring downstream model retraining. Specifically, our pipeline utilizes (1) \textbf{TransDINO} and (2) \textbf{TransDecomp} to disentangle masks and transparency physical properties, while (3) \textbf{DAF-Net} recovers surface normal priors to encode geometric curvature. Subsequently, (4) \textbf{GeoSemTransNet} integrates these multi-modal cues to synthesize a texture-rich opaque RGB image that preserves the transparent object's 3D structure. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method significantly enhances the accuracy of state-of-the-art depth estimation and reconstruction models on transparent objects by restoring essential photometric cues.

ZODS-RS -- Zero-training Oriented Detection & Segmentation for Remote Sensing

Remote-sensing and UAV applications need models that generalize across platforms and viewpoints without task-specific training. Yet training-free pipelines often falter on oriented geometry, scale/rotation variation, and crowded ports or airfields, and rarely unify detection and segmentation. We introduce ZODS-RS, a training-free, closed-form pipeline that outputs horizontal boxes (HBB) and instance masks. Built on DINOv3 dense features and SAM-style proposals, ZODS-RS chains: PP (prototype purification via Tyler covariance), R-SEM (rotation-scale equivariant matching with separable kernels and global Hungarian assignment), and UAM (uncertainty-aware pixelwise merging with adaptive priors and optional negative prototypes). A lightweight CWLA fuses multiple DINOv3 layers. On FAIR1M (HBB) we obtain $\mathrm{mAP}_{0.50:0.95}=\mathbf{13.06}$ and $\mathrm{AP}_S=\mathbf{2.93}$ \emph{(class-averaged over ship/airplane)}; on xView (HBB) we report $\mathrm{mAP}=\mathbf{16.69}$. On our UAV dataset, ZODS-RS achieves mask $\mathrm{mIoU}=\mathbf{31.10}$ and improves small-object AP by $\mathbf{+30.70}$ over Grounded-SAM on a single 5090. This work offers a unified, \emph{no-training} solution for horizontal-box detection plus instance segmentation in aerial imagery; provides explicit closed-form formulations for PP/R-SEM/UAM tightly coupled with DINOv3; and demonstrates \emph{consistent} gains on small and crowded targets and under cross-domain shifts while keeping deployment simple.
