Recent Results from BES
We report partial wave analysis results for $J/ψ\to γK^+ K^-$ based on $7.8 \times 10^6$ BESI $J/ψ$ events, and find $0^{++}$ to be dominant in the $f_J(1710)$ mass region. Some very preliminary results are presented from the $2.2 \times 10^7$ $J/ψ$ events newly collected at the upgraded BES(BESII). Using the world largest $ψ(2S)$ data sample, BES measures branching ratios of $ψ(2S)$ radiative and hadronic decays. The preliminary R values measured by BESII in the 2-5 GeV energy region are also presented.
