Doebner-Goldin Equation for Electrodynamic Particle. The Implied Applications

We set up the Maxwell's equations and the corresponding classical wave equations for the electromagnetic waves which together with the generating source, a traveling oscillatory charge of zero rest mass, comprise a particle traveling in the force field of an usual conservative potential and an additional frictional force $f$. At the de Broglie wavelength scale and in the classic-velocity limit, the total wave equation decomposes into a component equation describing the particle kinetic motion, which for $f=0$ identifies with the usual linear Schrödinger equation as previously. The $f$-dependent probability density presents generally an observable diffusion current of a real diffusion constant; this and the particle's usual quantum diffusion current as a whole are under adiabatic condition conserved and obey the Fokker-Planck equation. The corresponding extra, $f$-dependent term in the Hamiltonian operator identifies with that obtained by H.-D. Doebner and G.A. Goldin. The friction produces to the particle's wave amplitude a damping that can describe well the effect due to a radiation (de)polarization field, which is always by-produced by the particle's oscillatory charge in a (nonpolar) dielectric medium. The radiation depolarization field in a dielectric vacuum has two separate significances: it participates to exert on another particle an attractive, depolarization radiation force which resembles in overall respects Newton's universal gravity as we showed earlier, and it exerts on the particle itself an attractive, self depolarization radiation force whose time rate gives directly the frictional force $f$.

Cheap Artificial AB-Mountains, Extraction of Water and Energy from Atmosphere and Change of Regional Climate

Author suggests and researches a new revolutionary method for changing the climates of entire countries or portions thereof, obtaining huge amounts of cheap water and energy from the atmosphere. In this paper is presented the idea of cheap artificial inflatable mountains, which may cardinally change the climate of a large region or country. Additional benefits: The potential of tapping large amounts of fresh water and energy. The mountains are inflatable semi-cylindrical constructions from thin film (gas bags) having heights of up to 3 - 5 km. They are located perpendicular to the main wind direction. Encountering these artificial mountains, humid air (wind) rises to crest altitude, is cooled and produces rain (or rain clouds). Many natural mountains are sources of rivers, and other forms of water and power production - and artificial mountains may provide these services for entire nations in the future. The film of these gasbags is supported at altitude by small additional atmospheric overpressure and may be connected to the ground by thin cables. The author has shown (in previous works about the AB-Dome) that this closed AB-Dome allows full control of the weather inside the Dome (the day is always fine, the rain is only at night, no strong winds) and influence to given region. This is a realistic and cheap method of economical irrigation, getting energy and virtual weather control on Earth at the current time.

On the Impossibility of a Poincare-invariant Vacuum State with Unit Norm

In the standard construction of Quantum Field Theory, a vacuum state is required. The vacuum is a vector in a separable, infinite-dimensional Hilbert space often referred to as Fock space. By definition the vacuum wavestate depends on nothing and must be translationally invariant. We show that any such translationally-invariant vector must have a norm that is either divergent or equal to zero. It is impossible for any state to be both everywhere translationally invariant and also have a norm of one. The axioms of QFT cannot be made internally consistent.

Correlated Detection of sub-mHz Gravitational Waves by Two Optical-Fiber Interferometers

Results from two optical-fiber gravitational-wave interferometric detectors are reported. The detector design is very small, cheap and simple to build and operate. Using two detectors has permitted various tests of the design principles as well as demonstrating the first simultaneous detection of correlated gravitational waves from detectors spatially separated by 1.1km. The frequency spectrum of the detected gravitational waves is sub-mHz with a strain spectral index a=-1.4 +/- 0.1. As well as characterising the wave effects the detectors also show, from data collected over some 80 days in the latter part of 2007, the dominant earth rotation effect and the earth orbit effect. The detectors operate by exploiting light speed anisotropy in optical-fibers. The data confirms previous observations of light speed anisotropy, earth rotation and orbit effects, and gravitational waves.

The New Symmetries Beyond the Standard Model (The Body-centred Cubic Periodic Symmetries in Particle Physics)

This paper proposes new symmetries (the body-centred cubic periodic symmetries) beyond the standard model. Using a free particle expanded Schrodinger equation with the body-centred cubic periodic symmetry condition, the paper deduces a full baryon spectrum (including mass M, I, S, C, B, Q, J and P) of all 116 observed baryons. All quantum numbers of all deduced baryons are completely consistent with the corresponding experimental results. The deduced masses of all 116 baryons agree with (more than average 98 percent) the experimental baryon masses using only four constant parameters. The body-centred cubic periodic symmetries with a periodic constant ``a'' about $10^{-23}$m play a crucial rule. The results strongly suggest that the new symmetries really exist. This paper predicts some kind of ``Zeeman effect'' of baryons, for example: one experimental baryon N(1720)${3/2}^{+}$ with $ Γ$ = 200 Mev is composed of two N baryons [(N(1659)${3/2}^{+}$ + N(1839)${3/2}^{+}$] = $\bar{N(1749)}$${3/2}^{+}$ with $Γ$ = 1839-1659 = 180 Mev.

Spatially-separated synchronised clocks in the same inertial frame: Time dilatation, but no relativity of simultaneity or length contraction

The Lorentz transformation is used to analyse space and time coordinates corresponding to two spatially-separated clocks in the same inertial frame. The time dilatation effect is confirmed, but not `relativity of simultaneity' or `relativistic length contraction'. How these latter, spurious, effects arise from misuse of the Lorentz transformation is also explained.

The gravitomagnetic field of a sphere, Gravity Probe B and the LAGEOS satellites

The gravitomagnetic field generated by a rotating sphere is usually calculated from the ideal dipole model. However, for a sphere with a homogeneous mass density, this model is not generally valid. Trying to obtain a more accurate value of the gravitomagnetic field inside and outside the sphere, series expansions for this field are presented in this paper. The calculated polar gravitomagnetic field of the sphere and that from the ideal dipole model appear to coincide, but the field in the vicinity of the sphere may deviate. The deduced field within the sphere strongly deviates from the ideal dipole result. As an illustration, the gravitomagnetic precession rate (or frame-dragging effect) of a gyroscope moving in the gravitomagnetic field from a large rotating sphere is calculated. For the Gravity Probe B experiment the result may coincide with the prediction from the ideal dipole model and in fair agreement with observations. In addition, the obtained Lense-Thirring precession rate for the LAGEOS satellites probably coincides with the standard prediction. For both experiments alternative predictions are calculated, when the gravitomagnetic field and the magnetic field from moving charge are equivalent. Theoretical and observational indications for such an equivalence are summarized. The obtained series expansions for the gravitomagnetic field of a sphere can also be applied to the calculation of the magnetic field, generated by a rotating sphere with a homogeneous charge density. Results for this case are also discussed.

Action in a fractal universe and the holographic upper bound

The basic scaling laws for structures in a fractal universe require that the characteristic quantity of action associated with astronomical bodies should be of order near the maximum possible action allowed by the holographic upper bound. That conclusion is consistent with the observed parameters of galaxies and clusters.

Maps of Dipersions for Machining Processes

During the products design, the design office defines dimensional and geometrical parameters according to the use criteria and the product functionality. The manufacturing department must integrate the manufacturing and the workpiece position dispersions during the choice of tools and machines operating modes and parameters values to respect the functional constraints. In this paper, we suggest to model the turning dispersions taking into account not only geometrical specifications of position or orientation but also the experience of method actors. A representation using the principle of know-how maps in two or three dimensions is privileged. The most interesting aspect is that these maps include tacit and explicit knowledge. An experimental study realized on a machine tool (HES 300) allows to elaborate knowledge maps especially for the turning process.

Evaluation of machining dispersions for turning process

In this article we propose to extend the model of simulation of dispersions in turning based on the geometrical specifications. Our study is articulated around two trends of development: the first trend relates to the geometrical model. The geometrical model suggested must allow a follow-up of the geometry of the part during the simulation of machining. It is thus a question of carrying out a systematic treatment of the whole dimensioning and tolerancing process while being based on the principles of the \DeltaL method. We also planned to integrate this type of specification in the model of simulation of machining suggested. It is more generally a question of extending the traditional model for better taking into account the multi axis specification of coaxiality and perpendicularity on the turned workpieces. The second trend of our study relates to the widening of the field of application of the model. We propose to extend the field of application of the model by taking into account the modifications of several parameters of the manufacturing process plans, likely to involve variations of dispersions.

The Planck energy-mass source as an alternative to the Big Bang

The general theory of relativity is used to show that the total energy-mass of the visible Universe could be produced by an energy-mass source with the Planck power. The source was supposedly born at the phase of cosmic inflation and acts continuously throughout the lifetime of our Universe. The model allows one to treat dark energy as a real form of energy without using the hypothesis of anti-gravity.

Floating Bodies of Equilibrium in Three Dimensions. The central symmetric case

Three-dimensional central symmetric bodies different from spheres that can float in all orientations are considered. For relative density rho=1/2 there are solutions, if holes in the body are allowed. For rho different from 1/2 the body is deformed from a sphere. A set of nonlinear shape-equations determines the shape in lowest order in the deformation. It is shown that a large number of solutions exists. An expansion scheme is given, which allows a formal expansion in the deformation to arbitrary order under the assumption that apart from x=0,+1,-1 there is no x, which obeys P_{p,2}(x)=0 for two different integer ps, where P are Legendre functions.

Bigravity: a bimetric model of the Universe with variable constants, inluding VSL (variable speed of light)

The Universe, far to be homogenous, expands in large empty bubbles of the large-scale structure, but not in mass concentrations like galaxies, so that the Robertson-Walker solution does not fit. We suggest that a symmetry breaking occurred in a distant past, during the radiation-dominated era. Before, the three-dimensional hypersurface was invariant under the action of O(3) and the Robertson-Walker metric could be used. But this obliges the so-called constants and physics, length and time scale factors to be involved through a generalized gauge process, which is built. The subsequent variation of the speed of light solves the horizon problem, while the Planck barrier disappears

Are Flyby Anomalies an ASTG Phenomenon?

This reading expounds with expediency on the recently proposed Azimuthally Symmetric Theory of Gravitation (ASTG) set-up earlier. At its inspection, it was demonstrated that the ASTG is capable (among others solar anomalies) of explaining the precession of the perihelion of solar planets. In the present, we show that the ASTG is capable of explaining the puzzling observations of flyby anomalies, i.e. the anomalous asymptotic speed increases of the osculating hyperbolic speed excess. It is shown that these flyby anomalies occur naturally in the ASTG. We derive the empirical formula proposed by Anderson et al. in 2008, which up to now has no physical or foundational basis except that experience suggest it. If the ASTG model is correct, then for the first time the Anderson et al. formula is given a physical meaning.

Quantum Scent Dynamics (QSD): A new composite model of physical particles

The paper introduces an alternative rishon model for a composite structure of quarks and leptons. The model builds matter from six basic blocks (and their antiparticles). For this reason it introduces new properties of rishons, called "scents", that can take two values, called masculine and feminine scents, which can appear in three colours both. The Quantum Scent Dynamics (QSD) model calculates new electric charges for the rishons. Then it discusses the construction of the known families of particles from scents, as well as the constraints and advantages of the proposed hypothetic model.
