Study of photon reconstruction efficiency using $B^+ \to J/ψK^{(*)+}$ decays in the LHCb experiment
Abstract
The reconstruction efficiency of photons and neutral pions is measured using the relative yields of reconstructed $B^+ \to J/ψK^{*+} (\to K^+ π^{0})$ and $B^+ \to J/ψK^{+}$ decays. The efficiency is studied using the data set, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $3~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$, collected by the LHCb experiment in proton-proton collisions at the centre-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV.
