When is $(A+B)^{\dagger}=A^{\dagger}+B^{\dagger}$?
Abstract
We address the question as to when it is true that $(A+B)^{\dagger}=A^{\dagger}+B^{\dagger},$ where $\dagger$ denotes the Moore-Penrose inverse. A similar question is addressed for the group inverse.
