Primordial black holes and scalar-induced gravitational waves in the supersymmetric 331 model from SU(6)

Abstract

We study primordial black holes and scalar-induced gravitational waves in the supersymmetric 331 model based on SU(6). The inflaton continues to be the D-flat radial combination of the 331 symmetry-breaking fields Phi and Phi-bar, fields which are already accountable for the CMB branch. A gauge-invariant contribution that is localised in the Kaehler frame function causes the force in the Einstein frame to decrease over a finite range of the field and results in a temporary nonattractor phase. We calculate the supergravity potential and the radial metric, evolve the background and the Mukhanov-Sasaki modes, and assess the neutral covariant Hessian along the local region. The CMB trajectory is still in agreement with the present observational constraints while the curvature spectrum attains a value of P_zeta ~ 5.38 x 10^-3 when k ~ 1.88 x 10^13 Mpc^-1. The enhanced spectrum leads to a primordial black hole distribution with a mass comparable to that of an asteroid and to a maximum in the scalar-induced gravitational wave signal at a frequency of 3.17 x 10^-2 Hz with Omega_GW,0 h^2 ~ 9.41 x 10^-11. The local geometry also results in a clear hierarchy of sensitivities. The gravitational wave spectrum changes smoothly as one moves along nearby trajectories whereas the Gaussian tail of the primordial black hole distribution changes much more rapidly. The positive eigenvalues of the neutral transverse Hessian remain throughout the reference trajectory. A Gaussian critical collapse calculation yields a reference integrated primordial black hole fraction of near 9.08 x 10^-3, while recent nonlinear studies suggest significant corrections to the statistics of rare collapses at the scalar power achieved here.

Search for charged long-lived particles at the Future Circular Collider (FCC-ee)

Long-lived particles (LLPs) have emerged as a compelling signature of physics beyond the standard model, offering unique discovery opportunities at current and future colliders. We present an analysis of charged LLPs leading to signatures with kinked tracks and displaced vertices. Using timing information the search is extended to detector-stable LLPs. We explore the discovery prospects of such particles at the Future Circular Collider~(FCC-ee), a proposed $e^{+}e^{-}$ collider. The clean collision environment of FCC-ee and excellent tracking performance of the IDEA detector enhance the sensitivity to kinked-track signatures, which are considerably more challenging to reconstruct in the high-occupancy environment of hadron colliders. The excellent timing resolution of the timing layer enables us to infer the mass of the detector stable particles. As a benchmark the stau pair production in the gauge mediated supersymmetry breaking (GMSB) within the minimal supersymmetric standard model scenario is considered. In this model the lightest supersymmetric particle is a gravitino and the next-to-lightest supersymmetric particle is the stau, the superpartner of the tau lepton. Discovery sensitivity up to the kinematic limit is obtained for the $ZH$ and $t\bar{t}$ runs of the planned FCC-ee operation. We demonstrate that a potential discovery would allow for a precise $\tildeτ$ mass measurement.

$Z^\prime$ Portal Dark Matter with Observable $ΔN_{\rm eff}$

In the conventional $Z^\prime$ portal dark matter scenario, the prediction of detectable dark matter $χ$ typically relies on the collider sensitivities of $Z^\prime$ and direct detection, where the Majorana type right-handed neutrinos are usually assumed. However, if the right-handed neutrinos $ν_R$ are Dirac type, they will contribute to the additional effective number of relativistic species $ΔN_{\rm eff}$, which brings different detectable predictions for $Z^\prime$ portal dark matter. In light of the great improvement of $ΔN_{\rm eff}$ for the upcoming experiments, we investigate the $Z^\prime$ portal dark matter with Dirac type $ν_R$. Under the $U(1)_{B-L}$ symmetry, this model includes $ν_R$ with $U(1)_{B-L}$ charge $Q_{ν_R}=-1$ and $χ$ with arbitrary $Q_χ$ beyond the SM. Based on the relation in the production of $χ$ and $ν_R$, both the WIMP and FIMP dark matter through the $Z^\prime$ portal scenario are considered. We perform a comprehensive exploration of the viable parameter space under the constraints from $ΔN_{\rm eff}$ induced by thermal and non-thermal $ν_R$, perturbative limit, dark matter direct and indirect detection, and collider searches of $Z^\prime$.

Could $\barΛ_c$ and $Λ_c$ form bound hadronic molecule with explicit $P-wave$ ?

In this article, the explicit $P-wave$ of the $\barΛ_cΛ_c$ dibaryon states with the $J^{PC}=0^{-\pm}$ and $1^{-\pm}$ are studied via twelve interpolated currents. Results show that the positive and negative charge conjugations for the studied states do not have too much difference, the contribution of the gluon from covariant derivative of the current with $P-wave$ could be neglected. The numerical results of the masses of the $P-wave$ $\barΛ_cΛ_c$ are high above the threshold of the two $\barΛ_c$ and $Λ_c$ baryon constituents, $\barΛ_c$ and $Λ_c$ are unlikely to form the bound molecules with explicit $P-wave$ . Pole residues of the related states are also calculated.
