Unusual behavior in pbar-p and l-p collisions involving high energy and momenum transfer: Z0(W+-) and scalar jets
Abstract
We show that the axial-vector coupling of Z0(W+-) to quarks, when acting together with the emission of a hypothetical spin-zero jet-generating quantum coupled to quarks results in an unusual behavior in certain processes, at high energy and momentum transfer. This involves an excess jet production at the subpicobarn level.
