Power-law entropy corrected new holographic scalar field models of dark energy with modified IR-cutoff

In this work, the PLECHDE model with Granda-Oliveros (G-O) IR-cutoff is studied. The evolution of dark energy density, deceleration and EoS parameters are calculated. I demonstrate that under a condition, our universe can accelerate near the phantom barrier at present time. We calculate these parameters also in PLECHDE at Ricci scale, when when $α=2$ and $β=1$, and at last a comparison between Ricci scale, G-O cutoff and non-corrected HDE without matter field with G-O cutoff is done. The correspondence between this model and some scalar field of dark energy models is established. By this method, the evolutionary treatment of kinetic energy and potential for quintessence, tachyon, K-essence and dilaton fields, are obtained. I show that the results has a good compatibility with previous work in the limiting case of flat, dark dominated and non corrected holographic dark energy.

Cosmological implications of interacting polytropic gas dark energy model in non-flat universe

The polytropic gas model is investigated as an interacting dark energy scenario. The cosmological implications of the model including the evolution of EoS parameter $w_Λ$, energy density $Ω_Λ$ and deceleration parameter $q$ are investigated. We show that, depending on the parameter of model, the interacting polytropic gas can behave as a quintessence or phantom dark energy. In this model, the phantom divide is crossed from below to up. The evolution of $q$ in the context of polytropic gas dark energy model represents the decelerated phase at the early time and accelerated phase later. The singularity of this model is also discussed. Eventually, we establish the correspondence between interacting polytropic gas model with tachyon, K-essence and dilaton scalar fields. The potential and the dynamics of these scalar field models are reconstructed according to the evolution of interacting polytropic gas.

Interacting entropy-corrected holographic scalar field models in non-flat universe

In this work we establish a correspondence between the tachyon, K-essence and dilaton scalar field models with the interacting entropy-corrected holographic dark (ECHD) model in non-flat FRW universe. The reconstruction of potentials and dynamics of these scalar fields according to the evolutionary behavior of the interacting ECHDE model are be done. It has been shown that the phantom divide can not be crossed in ECHDE tachyon model while it is achieved for ECHDE K-essence and ECHDE dilaton scenarios. At last we calculate the limiting case of interacting ECHDE model, without entropy-correction.

Generalized Chaplygin gas model: Cosmological consequences and statefinder diagnosis

The generalized Chaplygin gas (GCG) model in spatially flat universe is investigated. The cosmological consequences led by GCG model including the evolution of EoS parameter, deceleration parameter and dimensionless Hubble parameter are calculated. We show that the GCG model behaves as a general quintessence model. The GCG model can also represent the pressureless CDM model at the early time and cosmological constant model at the late time. The dependency of transition from decelerated expansion to accelerated expansion on the parameters of model is investigated. The statefinder parameters $r$ and $s$ in this model are derived and the evolutionary trajectories in $s-r$ plane are plotted. Finally, based on current observational data, we plot the evolutionary trajectories in $s-r$ and $q-r$ planes for best fit values of the parameters of GCG model. It has been shown that although, there are similarities between GCG model and other forms of chaplygin gas in statefinder plane, but the distance of this model from the $Λ$CDM fixed point in $s-r$ diagram is shorter compare with standard chaplygin gas model.

Cosmological evolution and statefinder diagnostic for new holographic dark energy model in non flat universe

In this paper, the holographic dark energy model with new infrared cut-off proposed by Granda and Oliveros has been investigated in spatially non flat universe. The dependency of the evolution of equation of state, deceleration parameter and cosmological evolution of Hubble parameter on the parameters of new HDE model are calculated. Also, the statefinder parameters $r$ and $s$ in this model are derived and the evolutionary trajectories in $s-r$ plane are plotted. We show that the evolutionary trajectories are dependent on the model parameters of new HDE model. Eventually, in the light of SNe+BAO+OHD+CMB observational data, we plot the evolutionary trajectories in $s-r$ and $q-r$ planes for best fit values of the parameters of new HDE model.

New holographic Chaplygin gas model of dark energy

In this work, we investigate the holographic dark energy model with new infrared cut-off (new HDE model) proposed by Granda and Oliveros. Using this new definition for infrared cut-off, we establish the correspondence between new HDE model and standard Chaplygin gas (SCG), generalized Chaplygin gas (GCG) and modified Chaplygin gas (MCG) scalar field models in non-flat universe. The potential and dynamics for these scalar field models, which describe the accelerated expansion of the universe are reconstructed. According to the evolutionary behavior of new HDE model, we derive the same form of dynamics and potential for different SCG, GCG and MCG models. We also calculate the squared sound speed of new HDE model as well as for SCG, GCG and MCG models and investigate the new HDE Chaplygin gas models from the viewpoint of linear perturbation theory. All results in non-flat universe are also discussed in the limiting case of flat universe, i.e. $k=0$.

Agegraphic reconstruction of modified $F(R)$ and $F(\mathcal{G})$ gravities

The cosmological reconstruction of modified $F(R)$ and $F(\mathcal{G})$ gravities with agegraphic dark energy (ADE) model in a spatially flat universe without matter field is investigated by using e-folding "$N$" as a forward way. After calculating a consistent $F(R)$ in ADE's framework, we obtain conditions for effective equation of state parameter $w_{\mathrm{eff}}$, and see that reconstruction is possible for both phantom and non-phantom era. These calculations also are done for $F(\mathcal{G})$ gravity and the condition for a consistent reconstruction is obtained.

Cosmic Behavior, Statefinder Diagnostic and $w-w^{\prime}$ Analysis for Interacting NADE model in Non-flat Universe

We give a brief review of interacting NADE model in non-flat universe. we study the effect of spatial curvature $Ω_{k}$, interaction coefficient $α$ and the main parameter of NADE, $n$, On EoS parameter $w_{d}$ and deceleration parameter $q$. We obtain a minimum value for $n$ in both early and present time, in order to that our DE model crosses the phantom divide. Also in a closed universe, changing the sign of $q$ is strongly dependent on $α$. It has been shown that the quantities $w_{d}$ and $q$ have a different treatment for various spatial curvature. At last, we calculate the statefinder diagnostic and $ w-w^{\prime}$ analysis in non flat universe. In non flat universe, the statefinder trajectory is discriminated by both $n$ and $α$.

Agegraphic Dark Energy Model in Non-Flat Universe: Statefinder Diagnostic and $w-w^{\prime}$ Analysis

We study the interacting agegraphic dark energy (ADE) model in non-flat universe by means of statefinder diagnostic and $w-w^{\prime}$ analysis. First, the evolution of EoS parameter ($w_d$) and deceleration parameter ($q$) in terms of scale factor for interacting ADE model in non-flat universe are calculated. Dependence of $w_d$ on the ADE model parameters $n$ and $α$ in different spatial curvatures is investigated. We show that the evolution of $q$ is dependent on the type of spatial curvature, beside of dependence on parameters $n$ and $α$. The accelerated expansion takes place sooner in open universe and later in closed universe compare with flat universe. Then, we plot the evolutionary trajectories of the interacting ADE model for different values of the parameters $n$ and $α$ as well as for different contributions of spatial curvature, in the statefinder parameters plane. In addition to statefinder, we also investigate the ADE model in non-flat universe with $w-w^{\prime}$ analysis.

Interacting entropy-corrected agegraphic Chaplygin gas model of dark energy

In this work, we consider the interacting agegraphic dark energy models with entropy correction terms due to loop quantum gravity. We study the correspondence between the Chaplygin gas energy density with the interacting entropy-corrected agegraphic dark energy models in non-flat FRW universe. We reconstruct the potentials and the dynamics of the interacting entropy-corrected agegraphic scalar field models. This model is also extended to the interacting entropy-corrected agegraphic generalized Chaplygin gas dark energy.

Einstein-Born-Infeld on Taub-NUT Spacetime in 2k+2 Dimensions

We wish to construct solutions of Taub-NUT spacetime in Einstein-Born-Infeld gravity in even dimensions. Since Born-Infeld theory is a nonlinear electrodynamics theory, in leads to nonlinear differential equations. However a proper analytical solution was not obtain, we try to solve it numerically (by the Runge-Kotta method) with initial conditions coinciding with those of our previous work in Einstein-Maxwell gravity. We solve equations for 4, 6 and 8 dimensions and do data fitting by the least-squares method. For N=l=b=1, the metric turns to the NUT solution only in 8 dimensions, but in 4 and 6 dimensions the spacetime does not have any Nut solution.

Thermodynamics of Taub-NUT/Bolt-AdS Black Holes in Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet Gravity

We give a review of the existence of Taub-NUT/bolt solutions in Einstein Gauss-Bonnet gravity with the parameter $α$ in six dimensions. Although the spacetime with base space $S^{2}\times S^{2}$ has curvature singularity at $r=N$, which does not admit NUT solutions, we may proceed with the same computations as in the $\mathbb{CP}^{2}$ case. The investigation of thermodynamics of NUT/Bolt solutions in six dimensions is carried out. We compute the finite action, mass, entropy, and temperature of the black hole. Then the validity of the first law of thermodynamics is demonstrated. It is shown that in NUT solutions all thermodynamic quantities for both base spaces are related to each other by substituting $α^{\mathbb{CP}^{k}}=[(k+1)/k]α^{S^{2} \times S^{2}\times >...S_{k}^{2}}$. So no further information is given by investigating NUT solution in the $S^{2}\times S^{2}$ case. This relation is not true for bolt solutions. A generalization of the thermodynamics of black holes to arbitrary even dimensions is made using a new method based on the Gibbs-Duhem relation and Gibbs free energy for NUT solutions. According to this method, the finite action in Einstein Gauss-Bonnet is obtained by considering the generalized finite action in Einstein gravity with an additional term as a function of $α$. Stability analysis is done by investigating the heat capacity and entropy in the allowed range of $α$, $Λ$ and $N$. For NUT solutions in $d$ dimensions, there exist a stable phase at a narrow range of $α$. In six-dimensional Bolt solutions, metric is completely stable for $\mathcal{B}=S^{2}\times S^{2}$, and is completely unstable for $\mathcal{B}=\mathbb{CP}^{2}$ case.

Charged Rotating Black Branes in Various Dimensions

In this thesis, two different aspects of asymptotically charged rotating black branes in various dimensions are studied. In the first part, the thermodynamics of these spacetimes is investigated, while in the second part the no hair theorem for these spacetimes in four dimensions is considered. In part I, first, the Euclidean actions of a d-dimensional charged rotating black brane are computed through the use of the counterterms renormalization method both in the canonical and the grand-canonical ensemble, and it is shown that the logarithmic divergencies associated to the Weyl anomalies and matter field vanish. Second, a Smarr-type formula for the mass as a function of the entropy, the angular momenta and the electric charge is obtained, which shows that these quantities satisfy the first law of thermodynamics. Third, by using the conserved quantities and the Euclidean actions, the thermodynamics potentials of the system in terms of the temperature, the angular velocities and the electric potential are obtained both in the canonical and the grand-canonical ensemble. Fourth, a stability analysis in these two ensembles is performed, which shows that the system is thermally stable. This is in commensurable with the fact that there is no Hawking-Page phase transition for black object with zero curvature horizon. Finally, the logarithmic correction of the entropy due to the thermal fluctuation around the equilibrium is calculated. In part II, the cosmological defects are studied, and it is shown that the Abelian Higgs field equations in the background of a four-dimensional rotating charged black string have vortex solutions.

Thermodynamics of Taub-NUT Black Holes in Einstein-Maxwell Gravity

First, we construct the Taub-NUT/bolt solutions of $(2k+2)$-dimensinal Einstein-Maxwell gravity, when all the factor spaces of $2k$-dimensional base space $\mathcal{B}$ have positive curvature. These solutions depend on two extra parameters, other than the mass and the NUT charge. These are electric charge $q$ and electric potential at infinity $V$. We investigate the existence of Taub-NUT solutions and find that in addition to the two conditions of uncharged NUT solutions, there exist two extra conditions. These two extra conditions come from the regularity of vector potential at $r=N$ and the fact that the horizon at $r=N$ should be the outer horizon of the NUT charged black hole. We find that the NUT solutions in $2k+2$ dimensions have no curvature singularity at $r=N$, when the $2k$-dimensional base space is chosen to be $\mathbb{CP}^{2k}$. For bolt solutions, there exists an upper limit for the NUT parameter which decreases as the potential parameter increases. Second, we study the thermodynamics of these spacetimes. We compute temperature, entropy, charge, electric potential, action and mass of the black hole solutions, and find that these quantities satisfy the first law of thermodynamics. We perform a stability analysis by computing the heat capacity, and show that the NUT solutions are not thermally stable for even $k$'s, while there exists a stable phase for odd $k$'s, which becomes increasingly narrow with increasing dimensionality and wide with increasing $V$. We also study the phase behavior of the 4 and 6 dimensional bolt solutions in canonical ensemble and find that these solutions have a stable phase, which becomes smaller as $V$ increases.

Hairy rotating black string in the Einstein-Maxwell-Higgs system

We show numerically that the Abelian Higgs field equations in the background of a four-dimensional rotating charged black string have vortex solutions. These solutions which have axial symmetry show that the rotating black string can support the Abelian Higgs field as hair. We find that one encounters with an electric field coupled to the Higgs scalar field for the case of rotating black string. This electric field is due to an electric charge per unit length, which increases as the rotation parameter becomes larger. We also find that the vortex thickness decreases as the rotation parameter grows up. Finally we consider the self-gravity of the Abelian Higgs field and show that the effect of the vortex is to induce a deficit angle in the metric under consideration which decreases as the rotation parameter increases.

Thermodynamics of d-dimensional charged rotating black brane and AdS/CFT correspondence

We compute the Euclidean actions of a $d$-dimensional charged rotating black brane both in the canonical and the grand-canonical ensemble through the use of the counterterms renormalization method, and show that the logarithmic divergencies associated with the Weyl anomalies and matter field vanish. We obtain a Smarr-type formula for the mass as a function of the entropy, the angular momenta, and the electric charge, and show that these quantities satisfy the first law of thermodynamics. Using the conserved quantities and the Euclidean actions, we calculate the thermodynamics potentials of the system in terms of the temperature, angular velocities, and electric potential both in the canonical and grand-canonical ensembles. We also perform a stability analysis in these two ensembles, and show that the system is thermally stable. This is commensurate with the fact that there is no Hawking-Page phase transition for a black object with zero curvature horizon. Finally, we obtain the logarithmic correction of the entropy due to the thermal fluctuation around the equilibrium.
