Small x behavior of the slope dlnF_2/dln(1/x) in the framework of perturbative QCD

Using an analytical parameterization for the behavior of the x slope of the structure function F_2 at small x in perturbative QCD, at the leading twist approximation of the Wilson operator product expansion, and applying a flat initial condition in the DGLAP evolution equations, we found very good agreement with new precise deep inelastic scattering experimental data from HERA.

QCD coupling constant value and deep inelastic measurements

We reanalyze deep inelastic scattering data of BCDMS Collaboration by including proper cuts of ranges with large systematic errors. We perform also the fits of high statistic deep inelastic scattering data of BCDMS, SLAC, NM and BFP Collaborations taking the data separately and in combined way and find good agreement between these analyses. We extract the values of the QCD coupling constant α_s(M^2_Z) up to NLO level.

A study of QCD coupling constant from fixed target deep inelastic measurements

We reanalyze deep inelastic scattering data of BCDMS Collaboration by including proper cuts of ranges with large systematic errors. We perform also the fits of high statistic deep inelastic scattering data of BCDMS, SLAC, NM and BFP Collaborations taking the data separately and in combined way and find good agreement between these analyses. We extract the values of the QCD coupling constant α_s(M^2_Z) up to NLO level. The fits of the combined data for the nonsinglet part of the structure function F_2 predict the coupling constant value α_s(M^2_Z) = 0.1174 \pm 0.0007 (stat) \pm 0.0019 (syst) \pm 0.0010 (normalization). The fits of the combined data for both: the nonsinglet part of F_2 and the singlet one, lead to the values α_s(M^2_Z) = 0.1177 \pm 0.0007 (stat) \pm 0.0021 (syst) \pm 0.0009 (normalization). Both above values are in very good agreement with each other.

DGLAP and BFKL evolution equations in the N=4 supersymmetric gauge theory

We discuss DGLAP and BFKL evolution equations in the N=4 supersymmetric gauge theory in the leading and next-to-leading approximations. Eigenvalues of the BFKL kernel in this model turn out to be analytic functions of the conformal spin. It allows us to find the residues of the anomalous dimensions of the twist-2 operators in the points j=1,0,-1, ... from the BFKL equation in an agreement with their direct calculation from the DGLAP equation. The holomorphic separability of the BFKL kernel and the integrability of the DGLAP dynamics in this model are also discussed.

Some methods for the evaluation of complicated Feynman integrals

We discuss a progress in calculations of Feynman integrals based on the Gegenbauer Polynomial Technique and the Differential Equation Method. We demonstrate the results for a class of two-point two-loop diagrams and the evaluation of most complicated part of O(1/N^3) contributions to critical exponents of ϕ^4-theory. An illustration of the results obtained with help of above methods is considered.

A systematic study of QCD coupling constant from deep inelastic measurements

We reanalyze deep inelastic scattering data of BCDMS Collaboration by including proper cuts of ranges with large systematic errors. We perform also the fits of high statistic deep inelastic scattering data of BCDMS, SLAC, NM and BFP Collaborations taking the data separately and in combined way and find good agreement between these analyses. We extract the values of both the QCD coupling constant α_s(M^2_Z) up to NLO level and of the power corrections to the structure function F_2. The fits of the combined data for the nonsinglet part of the structure function F_2 predict the coupling constant value α_s(M^2_Z) = 0.1174 \pm 0.0007 (stat) \pm 0.0019 (syst) \pm 0.0010 (normalization) (or QCD parameter Λ^{(5)}_{MSbar} = 204 \pm 25 (total exper.err.) MeV). The fits of the combined data for both: the nonsinglet part and the singlet one, lead to the values α_s(M^2_Z) = 0.1177 \pm 0.0007 (stat) \pm 0.0021 (syst) \pm 0.0009 (normalization) (or QCD parameter Λ^{(5)}_{MSbar} = 208 \pm 27 (total exper.err.) MeV). Both above values are in very good agreement with each other. We estimate theoretical uncertainties for α_s(M^2_Z) as +0.0047 and -0.0057 from fits of the combine data, when complete singlet and nonsinglet Q^2 evolution is taken into account.

The contribution of off-shell gluons to the structure functions F_2^c and F_L^c$ and the unintegrated gluon distributions

We calculate the perturbative parts of the structure functions $F_2^c$ and $F_L^c$ for a gluon target having nonzero transverse momentum squared at order $α_s$. The results of the double convolution (with respect to the Bjorken variable $x_B$ and the transverse momentum) of the perturbative part and the unintegrated gluon densities are compared with HERA experimental data for $F_2^c$. The contribution from $F_L^c$ structure function ranges (10-30)% of that of $F_2^c$ at the kinematical range of HERA experiments.

Higher-twist operator effects to parton densities at small x

We investigate the Q^2 evolution of parton distributions at small x values, obtained in the case of flat initial conditions. The contributions of twist-two and (renormalon-type) higher-twist operators of the Wilson operator product expansion are taken into account. The results are in very good agreement with deep inelastic scattering experimental data from HERA.

The results are in excellent agreement with deep inelastic scattering experimental data from HERA.

NLO corrections to the BFKL equation in QCD and in supersymmetric gauge theories

We study next-to-leading corrections to the integral kernel of the BFKL equation for high energy cross-sections in QCD and in supersymmetric gauge theories. The eigenvalue of the BFKL kernel is calculated in an analytic form as a function of the anomalous dimension γof the local gauge-invariant operators and their conformal spin n. For the case of an extended N=4 SUSY the kernel is significantly simplified. In particular, the terms non-analytic in n are canceled. We discuss the relation between the DGLAP and BFKL equations in the N=4 model.

Recursion relations for two-loop self-energy diagrams on-shell

A set of recurrence relations for on-shell two-loop self-energy diagrams with one mass is presented, which allows to reduce the diagrams with arbitrary indices (powers of scalar propagators) to a set of the master integrals. The SHELL2 package is used for the calculation of special types of diagrams. A method of calculation of higher order ε-expansion of master integrals is demonstrated.
