Weak gravitational lensing by Einstein-non-linear-Maxwell-Yukawa black hole

In this article, we analyze the weak gravitational lensing in the context of Einstein-non-linear Maxwell-Yukawa black hole. To this desire, we derive the deflection angle of light by Einstein-non-linear Maxwell-Yukawa black hole using the Gibbons and Werner method. For this purpose, we obtain the Gaussian curvature and apply the Gauss-Bonnet theorem to find the deflection angle of Einstein-non-linear Maxwell-Yukawa black hole in weak field limits. Moreover, we derive the deflection angle of light in the influence of plasma medium. We also analyze the graphical behavior of deflection angle by Einstein-non-linear Maxwell-Yukawa black hole in the presence of plasma as well as non-plasma medium.

Testing Generalized Einstein-Cartan-Kibble-Sciama Gravity using Weak Deflection Angle and Shadow Cast

In this paper, we use a new asymptotically flat and spherically symmetric solution in the generalized Einstein-Cartan-Kibble-Sciama (ECKS) theory of gravity to study the weak gravitational lensing and its shadow cast. To this end, we first compute the weak deflection angle of generalized ECKS black hole using the Gauss-Bonnet theorem in plasma medium and in vacuum. Next by using the Newman-Janis algorithm without complexification, we derive the rotating generalized ECKS black hole and in the sequel study its shadow. Then, we discuss the effects of the ECKS parameter on the weak deflection angle and shadow of the black hole. In short, the goal of this paper is to give contribution to the ECKS theory and look for evidences to understand how the ECKS parameter effects the gravitational lensing. Hence, we show that the weak deflection of black hole is increased with the increase of the ECKS parameter.

In this paper, we study the gravitational lensing by some black hole classes within the non-linear electrodynamics in weak field limits. First, we calculate an optical geometry of the non-linear electrodynamics black hole then we use the Gauss-Bonnet theorem for finding deflection angle in weak field limits. The effect of non-linear electrodynamics on the deflection angle in leading order terms is studied. Furthermore, we discuss the effects of the plasma medium on the weak deflection angle.

First, we obtain the Gaussian optical curvature and implement the Gauss-Bonnet theorem to investigate the deflection angle for spherically symmetric spacetime of BBMB black hole. Moreover, we also analyze the graphical behavior of deflection angle by BBMB black hole in the presence of plasma medium.

Circular orbit of a particle and weak gravitational lensing

The purpose of this paper is twofold. First, we introduce a geometric approach to study the circular orbit of a particle in static and spherically symmetric spacetime based on Jacobi metric. Second, we apply the circular orbit to study the weak gravitational deflection of null and time-like particles based on Gauss-Bonnet theorem. By this way, we obtain an expression of deflection angle and extend the study of deflection angle to asymptotically non-flat black hole spacetimes. Some black holes as lens are considered such as a static and spherically symmetric black hole in the conformal Weyl gravity and a Schwarzschild-like black hole in bumblebee gravity. Our results are consistent with the previous literature. In particular, we find that the connection between Gaussian curvature and the radius of a circular orbit greatly simplifies the calculation.

Effect of Non-linear Electrodynamics on Weak field deflection angle by Black Hole

In this work, we investigate the weak deflection angle of light from exact black hole within the non-linear electrodynamics. First we calculate the Gaussian optical curvature using the optical spacetime geometry. With the help of modern geometrical way popularized by Gibbons and Werner, we examine the deflection angle of light from exact black hole. For this desire, we determine the optical Gaussian curvature and execute the Gauss-Bonnet theorem on optical metric and calculate the leading terms of deflection angle in the weak limit approximation. Furthermore, we likewise study the plasma medium's effect on weak gravitational lensing by exact black hole. Hence we expose the effect of the non-linear electrodynamics on the deflection angle in the weak gravitational field.

Shadow cast of non-commutative black holes in Rastall gravity

We study the shadow and energy emission rate of a spherically symmetric non-commutative black hole in Rastall gravity. Depending on the model parameters, the non-commutative black hole can reduce to the Schwarzschild black hole. Since the non-vanishing non-commutative parameter affects the formation of event horizon, the visibility of the resulting shadow depends on the non-commutative parameter in Rastall gravity. The obtained sectional shadows respect the unstable circular orbit condition, which is crucial for physical validity of the black hole image model.

PV criticality of Achucarro-Ortiz black hole in the presence of higher order quantum and GUP corrections

In this paper, we study quantum-corrected and GUP-(generalized uncertainty principle) corrected thermodynamics of the (2+1)-dimensional charged-rotating Achucarro-Ortiz (AO) black hole. The corrected parameters include temperature, entropy, and heat capacity which help in investigating the instability phases of the AO black hole. We show that AO black hole with small mass possesses unstable regions. However, we reveal that those instabilities can be removed by the GUP corrections. Finally, we also compute the maximum temperature that can be reached by the AO black hole.

Weak Gravitational lensing by stringy black holes

In this paper, we discuss the weak gravitational lensing in the context of stringy black holes. Initially, we examine the deflection angle of photon by charged stringy black hole. For this desire, we compute the Gaussian optical curvature and implement the Gauss-Bonnet theorem to investigate the deflection angle for spherically balanced spacetime of stringy black hole. We also analyze the influence of plasma medium in the weak gravitational lensing for stringy black hole. Moreover, the graphical impact of impact parameter $b$ , black hole charge $Q$ on deflection angle by charged stringy black hole has been studied in plasma as well as non-plasma medium.

Finite-distance gravitational deflection of massive particles by the Kerr-like black hole in the bumblebee gravity model

In this paper, we study the weak gravitational deflection angle of relativistic massive particles by the Kerr-like black hole in the bumblebee gravity model. In particular, we focus on weak field limits and calculate the deflection angle for a receiver and source at a finite distance from the lens. To this end, we use the Gauss-Bonnet theorem of a two-dimensional surface defined by a generalized Jacobi metric. The spacetime is asymptotically non-flat due to the existence of a bumblebee vector field. Thus the deflection angle is modified and can be divided into three parts: the surface integral of the Gaussian curvature, the path integral of a geodesic curvature of the particle ray and the change in the coordinate angle. In addition, we also obtain the same results by defining the deflection angle. The effects of the Lorentz breaking constant on the gravitational lensing are analyzed. In particular, we correct a mistake in the previous literature. Furthermore, we consider the finite-distance correction for the deflection angle of massive particles.

Tunneling of Massive Vector Particles from Types of BTZ-like Black Holes

In this paper, we analyze the Hawking radiation phenomenon for types of Banados-Teitelboim-Zanelli-like (BTZ-like) black holes. For this purpose, using the Hamilton-Jacobi method, we consider semi-classical WKB approximation to calculate the tunneling probabilities of massive boson particles. For these particles, we use the equation of motion for the Glashow-Weinberg-Salam model. Using quantum tunneling process of charged massive bossons, we compute the corresponding Hawking temperatures. Furthermore, we discuss the effects of rotation parameter on tunneling probability and temperature.

Tunneling of Massive Vector Particles under the Influence of Quantum Gravity

This paper is devoted to investigate charged vector particles tunneling via horizons of a pair of accelerating rotating charged NUT black hole under the influence of quantum gravitational effects. For this purpose, we use the modified Proca equation incorporating generalized uncertainty principle. Using the WKB approximation to the field equation, we obtain a modified tunneling rate and the corresponding corrected Hawking temperature for this black hole. Moreover, we analyze the graphical behavior of corrected Hawking temperature $T'_{H}$ with respect to the event horizon for the given black hole. By considering quantum gravitational effects on Hawking temperatures, we discuss the stability analysis of this black hole. For a pair of black holes, the temperature $T'_{H}$ increases with the increase in rotation parameters $a$ and $ω$, correction parameter $β$, black hole acceleration $α$ and arbitrary parameter $k$ and decreases with the increase in electric $e$ and magnetic charges $g$.

Deflection angle of photon from magnetized black hole and effect of nonlinear electrodynamics

In this paper, we analyze deflection angle of photon from magnetized black hole within non-linear electrodynamics with parameter $β$. In doing so, we find the corresponding optical spacetime metric and then we calculate the Gaussian optical curvature. Using the Gauss-Bonnet theorem, we obtain the deflection angle of photon from magnetized black hole in weak field limits and show the effect of non-linear electrodynamics on weak gravitational lensing. We also analyzed that our results reduces into Maxwell's electrodynamics and Reissner-Nordström (RN) solution with the reduction of parameters. Moreover, we also investigate the graphical behavior of deflection angle w.r.t correction parameter, black hole charge and impact parameter.

Effect of the hair on deflection angle by asymptotically flat black holes in Einstein-Maxwell-dilaton theory

In this paper, we are interested in a model of exact asymptotically flat charged hairy black holes in the background of dilaton potential. We study the weak gravitational lensing in the spacetime of hairy black hole in Einstein-Maxwell theory with a non-minimally coupled dilaton and its non-trivial potential. In doing so, we use the optical geometry of the flat charged hairy black hole for some range of parameter $γ$. For this purpose, by using Gauss-Bonnet theorem, we obtain the deflection angle of photon in a spherically symmetric and asymptotically flat spacetime. Moreover, we also investigate the impact of plasma medium on weak gravitational lensing by asymptotically flat charged hairy black hole with a dilaton potential. Our analytically analyses show the effect of the hair on the deflection angle in weak field limits.

Weak gravitational lensing by Kerr-MOG Black Hole and Gauss-Bonnet theorem

The deflection angle of Kerr-MOG black holes is studied for different values of the parameter in modified gravity (MOG). To this end, we employ the Gauss-Bonnet theorem, which was first studied by Gibbons and Werner and then extended by Ono, Ishihara and Asada, who use a generalized optical metric where the deflection of light for an observer and source at finite distance. By using this method, we study the weak gravitational lensing by Kerr-MOG black hole. Our computations show that with an increase in the MOG parameter ($α$), the deflection angle becomes significantly larger than that of Kerr black hole. The results obtained show that MOG effect could be taken into account in the gravitational lensing experiments.

Weak Deflection Angle of Extended Uncertainty Principle Black Holes

In this paper, we have discussed the effects of quantum fluctuations spewed by a black hole on its deflection angle. The Gauss-Bonnet theorem (GBT) is exploited with quantum corrections through the Extended Uncertainty Principle (EUP) and the corresponding deflection angle is obtained. Moreover, we have attempted to broaden the scope of our work by subsuming the effects of plasma medium on the deflection angle as well. To demonstrate the degree of difference, the acquired results are compared with the prevailing findings.

Light Deflection by a Quantum Improved Kerr Black Hole Pierced by a Cosmic String

In this work, we calculate the quantum correction effects on the deflection of light in the spacetime geometry of a quantum improved Kerr black hole pierced by an infinitely long cosmic string. More precisely, we calculate the deflection angle by applying the Gauss--Bonnet theorem (GBT) to the osculating optical geometries related to the quantum improved rotating black hole in the weak limit approximation. We find that the deflection angle of light is affected by the quantum effects as well as the global topology due to the presence of the cosmic string. Besides, we have managed to find the same expression for the deflection angle in leading order terms using the geodesic equations.

Deflection angle of photon through dark matter by black holes and wormholes using the Gauss-Bonnet theorem

In this research, we use the Gibbons-Werner method (Gauss-Bonnet theorem) on the optical geometry of a black hole and wormhole, extending the calculation of the weak gravitational lensing within the Maxwell's fish eye-like profile and dark matter medium. The angle is seen as a partially topological effect and the Gibbons-Werner method can be used on any asymptotically flat Riemannian optical geometry of compact objects in dark matter medium.
